The staff and aids were very helpful and friendly. The house manager was nice, knowledge, and very professional in helping me fill out the paperwork. I feel that my Mom is safe in your environment.

At times they can be a little slow to respond, but at night they don't have the staffing that they do in the day. She complains that sometimes the wait times are longer than she would like. They seem to offer a lot in the activities department, they have a new activities director that seems to keep everyone very busy. It seems like they have quite a bit of turnover, but on the other hand the people that have been there since we've been there, have been really accommodating. There are some days one person may like the food but others don't. I would say in variety on the food it's a five. The building is only a couple of years old, and we liked the way it was laid out. The staff is friendly. If there were other people in my same predicament they would be impressed with them. It's at the lower end of the money scale than some of the places we looked at. There are enough residents there that you don't feel like you are just one person. There is a community room where people can come and sit and socialize.

It has taken about 18 months to convince my mother to leave her home of 70+ years and move to Assisted Living. She has been there for only a few weeks, but appears to be adapting well. She loves the food (especially since she does not have to cook it or do the dishes), the friendly staff, residents, and activities. She is eating better, sleeping less,and participating in life more. The staff including Tawnee, Kari, and Allie have been very supportive and welcoming from the first meeting. Mom even asked if we were taking her home as we left her house in northern MN.

Great place so far. We’re hoping to get mom in sometime in early November, after the TCU. Beautiful setting and everyone we’ve met are friendly and helpful.

My brother and I liked the philosophy of White Pine and liked how they center around what is best to keep memory care residents engaged and happy in whatever stage they are in. We have chosen to keep her in Duluth at this time though.

My brother was looking for a place that he could move into after moving back home from California, so time was kind of a factor. At the time that we toured here, there weren't any 1 bedroom apartments available and only studios so we weren't able to view the kind of apartment he wanted. It was okay. The facility had a nice common area and a nice library, but it felt more like a hotel than home. The staff seemed really nice, but we ultimately chose to go somewhere else.

I really liked this property, it was actually one of my favorites out of all the different communities we had looked at for my loved one. The staff where on time to our appointment and did a great job maintaining a clean beautiful property. My cousin just did not want to be on the first floor and that was the only thing they had open at the time.

My parents are still adjusting since their move. The facility is very nice and the staff is very good. I think they do the best they could. The location was the deciding factor for us, this one was in the right place.

This is a nice community, and my tour of it went very well. The staff was kind and informative. They were also knowledgeable. From what I saw the community appeared to be nice and clean. Everything went well, and this is a good community with kind people.

My father is still adjusting to the changes but is doing well in this community. The staff has been very helpful and accommodating to his needs. The place is very clean at all times. For a while, my father was doing the exercise program they have available. Overall we are very happy with this community so far.

My wife is doing pretty well here at this community. So far everything is working out good, I'am pleased. This is a nice looking community, they do a good job with the cleanliness. They have a good staff, they have been very attentive and caring. I know she is in good hands. They serve well balanced meals. She is being cared for well here and I would recommend it. It is a nice place.

The tour guide was knowledgeable and very attentive. He answered my questions about the community. Meal plans are available as well as beautician services. They offer transportation if needed for the residents. Everyone was friendly with me and i felt the community was well up-kept and clean.

White Pine Senior Living were proactive and made an appointment for us to tour. The staff are friendly and address all of our questions. The community is very well kept and the property is beautiful. I would recommend taking a tour.

My partner stayed at the Comforts of Home for a few days for respite care. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. My partner enjoyed the food options. I would recommend this community to family and friends.

L/M for Ann 7/11 Not a good option financially. Take EW for residents who age in place, want 3 years resources. Have currently one shared space available for EW. Ann was great and tried hard to make it work for us but it would mean moving Mom in 5 months from private pay to shared room and change makes her behavior worse.

My friend is doing quite well since moving into this community. The staff take good care of the residents but I think they should be more talkative and smiley. The food is good and they seem to offer a good variety of healthy choices. Lino Lakes is clean community. They offer a wide variety of activities as well.

Clean, beautiful building, friendly staff that really seemed to care about the people they are serving.

Gracewood of Highland Park is just a nice, small facility, which gives it a lot more intimate feeling as opposed to a larger institutional feel. I would give it a four-star rating overall, but it is rated highly.

So far so good everything has been going great. Friendliness and cleanliness were great! Overall satisfied.
