Clearwater Senior Living

They are having some growing pains right now because they are new. They do not have enough staff. It is not a big problem, but it shows some. The food is very good, the people are very friendly. The residents seem very happy.

Incredibly friendly staff. [name removed] is amazing. She is at the main desk. There is a lady at the memory care desk that told me that my mom cannot get mail there. I found out that is not true. The pool area needs TLC. They put in a maintenance request. My mom's dresser was wobbly. I had to tell them to put in a work order. The director is incredibly helpful! They didn't know that my mom was hospitalized for a UTI recently.

There has obviously been some recent restructuring in management and it's a bit of a mess. It has also seemed like they were a bit understaffed, especially on the 3rd floor, not as much in memory care. But it seems like they're figuring it out and most of the people we've met have been incredibly accommodating and helpful.

I would state the place is clean, caregivers are wonderful, meals are really good. families need to stay on top of communication as there is a lack of communication at times from administration when issues arise.

The food is excellent, the grounds are well kept. There are many activities. The staff is friendly. But they are short staffed so the response is slow and there are gaps in the service.

Newer facility, clean and well maintained. Staff is energetic, upbeat and professional. Food is very good.

The staff is kind and caring to all residence, the food is good, offering weekday specials for variety. We have exercise classes and weekly entertainment. There is independent living or for individuals needing help with pill taking or bathing, those needs can also be met. It's a lovely place.

The facility is great. Includes a Pub and first class dining room. Also a gym, small theater, art room and multi purpose room. And a pool & Jacuzzi. More activities than you can do in a day. The staff is super friendly and they try very hard to please. The food is top-notch and includes 2 dinner specials every day in addition to a fairly extensive menu.

Everyone is nice and as helpful as they can be. The facility is clean, they feed them well, and if the person is an able body they have plenty of activities.

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I feel like they go out of their way to try to take care of the residence as best as possible, and they also make the families feel very comfortable with their knowledge of how to take care of them

I really like how friendly everyone is. I know they're taking good care of my father. One thing that they could improve on is communication. Also packages have been sent to my father there. He is now in memory care and while we have receipt that packages have been delivered. No one can find some of them. That is frustrating. It may be that better communication between their team would be beneficial. It seems like sometimes it takes a long time to find an answer.

In regard to Clearwater, the activities director, the woman who works with her and the woman who is in charge of the memory care are great. Some of the residents are clicky. The food was good. My mom needed to go to memory care. The residents are locked in their rooms at night and I wasn't ready for that. She fell in the assisted living and fractured her hip. Not their fault. After going to a rehab facility I found a board care that suits us better.

The staff is very good about one on one so that no individual ever feels left out or alone. Really, our one concern has been about the state of mind about the other residents. Our mom has dementia but she is friendly and not grumpy. Some of the residents can become angry/violent. Our mom is not that way. That's been a benefit of being there in the early stages of this facility- as they fill it will be harder to provide one on one care.

The facilities and staff are both excellent. Unfortunately it was not a great fit for my mom and we've had to move her out. The biggest problem we had was the medical support she needed wasn't available. She is a type 1 diabetic and the protocol available at Clearwater wasn't a good fit.

Experience has been good. However being new, they are working out some of the kinks. There are also more charges on some things starting next month.

The staff at Anthology are friendly and exceptionally helpful, however I have gotten the impression that the coordination between staff members is lacking in communication between office personnel. The biggest problem here at Anthology is the food service. In my opinion it would be more cost effective to hire one professional chef than to hire three novices that you think can be trained. Someone who has the experience and expertise of managing a restaurant and staff. Several times Pork Tenderloin is listed on the menu. It is obvious that no one even knows what this cut of meat is, because this isn’t what is being served. Several residents have tried to e helpful with suggestions which apparently fall on deaf ears. We were promised “Gourmet meals” which we are obviously not receiving.

Since this is a brand new facility, just opened in April, 2024, there are only 18 residents in the Independent Living building. With so few residents we are pretty spoiled as far as service levels and many of the amenities. After getting to know the staff and directors, we do not expect the level of service to change as more residents move in. As far as the Assisted Living building, the residents seem very pleased with their helpers, but since we do not live in that building, we cannot speak directly regarding their level of service, etc.

My Mom moved into Anthology [date removed]. The move was seemless and her transition after living by herself for 14 was so nice to see. Everyone on the staff is so nice and they really attend to her every need. She met lots of nice people their. They were very smart in the way they made the facility they put all the money on the inside. The building is well made and the finishes top notch. Lots of activities and things to do. The food is good too. I was able to retire and buy a place at the coast knowing she is well taken care of. She wishes she would have moved 10 years ago.
