Clearwater Senior Living

They are having some growing pains right now because they are new. They do not have enough staff. It is not a big problem, but it shows some. The food is very good, the people are very friendly. The residents seem very happy.

The staff is wonderful in that they know everyone's name and preferences, greet them and talk to them whenever they see them. My mom tells my whole family how friendly everyone is. [name removed] is one of the activity leaders that I've met and he's very enthusiastic and engaging and gets the residents excited and participating. The facility is clean whenever I've been there, and I noticed a few issues, like light bulbs being out, were fixed in a day or two. One of the elevators seems to have issues, but they were working on it. One thing that we're having an issue with is that the care plan isn't well defined, such as what exactly is their responsibility versus ours within the apartment. We were told the bedding was supposed to be changed once a week when we were touring, but we had to ask multiple times before they were changed after she moved in. Clearer guidelines, and knowing exactly what we're paying for would be nice.

Nothing is perfect but significantly better than morningstar. Food is excellent. Staffing hit or miss but mostly fine. We are in a studio apt...kitchenette no fridge or cooking area but no necessary given all meals are provided. Place is clean. Great apt size. Many activities are available. Management has been very helpful. Paying for liquor at $10/ glass can get expensive but $6 on happy hr twice a week. Overall my dad us happy there and has the help he needs.

Staff is young and frisky. There are lots of activities. The food is good and the whole ambience is one of friendship. The staff waves and calls your name as you walk by. They really do include you in the community.

Clearwater is very special to me. I've made wonderful friends here. The management are kind too. There are things the need to change as it is more suited for independent living instead of assisted living. It's all been a rewarding time for me.

The staff is great, they made mom fill right at home. The building is amazing, with the fifth floor dining area with a beautiful view of the hill country. Food is very impressive . The main thing is the staff being very friendly and responsive. We have been very happy with Clear Water.

The facility is beautiful and well maintained. All of the staff have been very helpful and [name removed] is a superstar!

I am a little put off by these places that look like cruise ships. Clearwater has everything for active retirees. It is a beautiful Place. For people who need assistance or have dementia, I am not convinced they want or need pubs and movie theaters. Clearwater is new and seems empty. In my husband’s case, for whom I am looking, a fishing lodge atmosphere would make him more comfortable. Lots of people hanging out together would make me more comfortable.

Incredibly friendly staff. [name removed] is amazing. She is at the main desk. There is a lady at the memory care desk that told me that my mom cannot get mail there. I found out that is not true. The pool area needs TLC. They put in a maintenance request. My mom's dresser was wobbly. I had to tell them to put in a work order. The director is incredibly helpful! They didn't know that my mom was hospitalized for a UTI recently.

There has obviously been some recent restructuring in management and it's a bit of a mess. It has also seemed like they were a bit understaffed, especially on the 3rd floor, not as much in memory care. But it seems like they're figuring it out and most of the people we've met have been incredibly accommodating and helpful.

I would state the place is clean, caregivers are wonderful, meals are really good. families need to stay on top of communication as there is a lack of communication at times from administration when issues arise.

The food is excellent, the grounds are well kept. There are many activities. The staff is friendly. But they are short staffed so the response is slow and there are gaps in the service.

Newer facility, clean and well maintained. Staff is energetic, upbeat and professional. Food is very good.

The staff is kind and caring to all residence, the food is good, offering weekday specials for variety. We have exercise classes and weekly entertainment. There is independent living or for individuals needing help with pill taking or bathing, those needs can also be met. It's a lovely place.

The facility is great. Includes a Pub and first class dining room. Also a gym, small theater, art room and multi purpose room. And a pool & Jacuzzi. More activities than you can do in a day. The staff is super friendly and they try very hard to please. The food is top-notch and includes 2 dinner specials every day in addition to a fairly extensive menu.

Everyone is nice and as helpful as they can be. The facility is clean, they feed them well, and if the person is an able body they have plenty of activities.

The staff is very helpful and very friendly. I feel like they go out of their way to try to take care of the residence as best as possible, and they also make the families feel very comfortable with their knowledge of how to take care of them

I really like how friendly everyone is. I know they're taking good care of my father. One thing that they could improve on is communication. Also packages have been sent to my father there. He is now in memory care and while we have receipt that packages have been delivered. No one can find some of them. That is frustrating. It may be that better communication between their team would be beneficial. It seems like sometimes it takes a long time to find an answer.
