Claiborne at Newnan Lakes is a very nice facility. The rooms are spacious and laid out nicely, especially compared with other facilities. I think the staffing situation is stabilizing and the staff members here are caring for the most part. Very responsive when you have questions and concerns. Love the location and my dad seems happy here. Would like to see more options for outdoor spaces, although the courtyard is very nice. My dad loves the food.

We picked this community, because of the price, and it was what we could afford. It's a nice experience, and the people are freindly. I would recommend this facility, to other families.

Brickmont Roswell management still has COVID restrictions in place, although locally not always enforced... this means that family can not visit in the dinning hall. Masks were required also, just lifted that requirement about 4 weeks ago. And time will tell if they keep up this level of attention as the building fills, many new residents every week.. Since Brickmont pricing includes all levels of care.... my perception is that the average resident needs more help than other places I visited to evaluate. Overall I would recommend this facility to others.

Claiborne at Brickyard had the elaborate kitchens which took up most of the living space, and I knew my sister would never use it at all. The bedrooms were small, and closet space too. Why the big kitchen if they offer three meals? The tour guide invited us for lunch. Food was mediocre at best compared to another community! She had not been alerted that we were coming, even though A place for Mom associate had set up the appointment. She made time for us anyway.

They have been good, but sometimes it's hard getting in touch with someone, and getting a phone call returned. They have bee very nice. They aren't intuned to caring for elderly people. My loved one likes the food. They could improve on the communication, and maybe add more staff. The caregivers have done a great job. Overall, it's been a good experience.

You have to stay on top of them to make sure all services and departments are operating as expected. Overall they are a caring group of people. I feel like I can go on vacation for a week and my loved one is cared for.

The staff member, the facility itself and the meals (which had really good options and were all tasty) were some of the main reasons we picked this community. Our loved one came for respite care and we loved how the level of care was all inclusive which was gigantic. It was a great experience and we would go back given the option to. The head nurse could not of been nicer - she was very responsive when communicating by text because you could not leave a voicemail due to her phone always being full. The only negative or opportunity to improve on is that after looking at other communities they are still very strict with covid protocols. We do understand why and we know safety is most important so that is just something picky. However we could not eat with our loved ones unless we rent out a small room which was very isolating, and they have these gathering rooms for visitors but we were not allowed to sit in them. If we wanted to visit with our loved one, it had to be in the apartment which was very small.

Brickmont Woodstock is a nice, clean, quiet place, and they take good care of their residents. All the staff is caring, and they answer your questions. If you have a loved one who needs this type of place, it's a nice place to go.

This is a good value of the money. Brickmont Roswell is nice, clean, and new. The staff communication with the family has been a mixed experience so far. There are three meals a day served to the residents. It would be nice to have some additional home cooked meals or options for the residents.

Overall our experience at Brickmont of Acworth has been good. The service and response time of care givers is slow and a little slack at times. But the staff is very friendly, and management is responsive to issues that come up.

Definitely don't rush into the decision and check into other options to make sure you find the right fit for your loved one. Overall, I think the facility is very nice. The staff are fairly organized. I have had a fairly good experience with the staff, although our loved one says the night staff are not as nice. But the lady who runs the memory care side has been wonderful in working with me. I would definitely recommend Brickmont to other families.

Brickmont is an exceptional value for what you pay. It is the only facility we visited that does NOT charge extra for different levels of care. This on top of the cleanliness and quality of care have made us very happy !

The area we think they could improve on would be the meals and dining service - having a better menu as well as food. However we would recommend The Claiborne at Brickyard community to other families.

They offer a pretty good variety of food. They have art, movie night, walking, and they normally have 4-5 activities dailiy. The activities are amazing. They have done a very good job with my loved ones medication management. They also do a good jod with the cleanliness. They could improve on their communication. Overall, I would recommend to other famlies.

Our family had an in person tour and we thought it was a nice community but there was not a lot of information presented up front and we wish while we were there they were more straight forward and transparent

They're really new and obviously going through some growing pains and figuring out what their processes are. But I always saw the Executive Director walking around and involved. She is working hard to make improvements. The assisted living side was beautiful, and my loved one liked the food. But the memory care side, while still pretty and new, felt a little dark / stark. It felt like the forgotten side. They didn't have activities in place that were promised, but they were working on it. I know they had just hired an activities director. I was constantly concerned about her medication due to errors they were making. They had some really great people there who were warm, caring, and would really take their time to try to understand the individuals who live there, including on the memory care side. But there were some not so great people, one specifically that I witnessed being physically rough with the residents. When I brought it to Brickmont's attention, they verified it on their cameras and ended up letting that person go. The Executive Director addressed issues and problems personally, rather than delegating it onto someone else. She does make an effort and is available. And she works very hard. I hope that they get their activities up to date because the memory care residents were always just sitting around a table with nothing to do except watch TV. I do think they are working towards improving that. Overall, for assisted living, it could be a really great place. It's a beautiful environment. But for memory care, I would be cautious to place anyone there in the next six months or so while they figure out their processes and activities.

We were happy overall. We had no experience with activities. My loved one didn't want to participate. The staff were very caring overall in very difficult circumstances. We would definitely recommend others tour Brickmont and consider this community. The staff communication with the family was good overall.

Laurel Glen at Memphis was head and shoulders above other places we toured. It is very updated and nice. With any facility like this, there is a period of time where you really have to follow up and make sure your loved one is getting the kind of care that they need. So I would just tell others to expect for it to take some time for your loved one to get acclimated with the schedule, dining, rooms, staff etc. Overall I would recommend Laurel Glen to others

The staff are very friendly and understanding when it comes to the residents who have dementia. The price per month includes everything except cable which is a separate price per month. My loved one was able to bring their cat with them. The facility is newer (only 2 years old). The apartments, while small, have a nice walk-in closet. They offer on-site PT, if needed. They have an on-site beautician. They have on-site medical services if you sign up for it through Pingeton Health. Their Nurse Practitioner is on-site every Friday. They accommodate my loved one's lactose free and reduced sodium diet.

Brickmont of Acworth is a great place. They provide all-inclusive care. If your loved one will be rooming with someone, they typically match roommates based on their personalities. The staff are pretty friendly. The food is good - they typically have salads and soups, then the main entrée, and then dessert, which my loved one enjoys. The café staff are good at refilling his glass, and they're really nice to him. In terms of care and progress, they could give more updates. But when I reach out to them, they do get back to me.
