love the cottage and the other residents, but the food is horrible!! I did my due diligence and checked their website before signing the contract and it represented that they served balanced and nutritious meals with a choice of entrées designed to meet your nutritional needs. In reality, they only offer one entrée at each meal and sometimes it is impossible to determine what the entrée is by looking at it. I have notified management and met personally with the Facility CEO, and a corporate VP and explained that the Official Code of GA annotated section 10-1-393(a) & (b)(5) makes it unlawful to misrepresent the characteristics, uses, or benefits of goods or services in a consumer transaction, so they are aware of their legal exposure, but so far, a year after I gave notice, they have done nothing to correct the problem other than saying that they are working on it. Again, I love the Cottage and am not suing Chapters for violating the GA Fair Business Practices Act because I do like living here, but if something is not done soon about the food, or unless I get a discount for the fact that I don't eat the food because it's usually horrible. I have asked for a deduction in my rent for whatever they charge for food. I would warn potential renters about the food problem before they decide to do business with Chapters!! If the food situation improves, I will raise it to a 5!

My wife was there 4 8 months before she passed away. I would recommend it as I think they did as well as could be expected. Cost was better than other places aa they will negotiate. Best bet is to visit as much as possible as squeaky wheel gets the oil.

There's always room for improvement. My mom has lost her sight and there are very few employees that help her out. Shout out to [names removed] for helping her without being asked. She is a difficult person. She has made friends there.

Every facility has their problems and their own issues. That being said, I had no real problem overall with Known Memory Care. They presented themselves of having a lot of activity for their residence, but that was more like once every couple of weeks. Otherwise, they sat and watched old programs on TV Fell asleep in there, wheelchairs and ate that was the jest of their days.

I'm very happy with Chapters Of Living. I would definitely recommend it to others.

The facility is clean, and residents are always dressed and well cared for. The staff are very busy, so sometimes personal items go missing and are not always found. Accidents can happen, and mobility may be affected as a result. The staff are always kind, and residents seem to respond well to them.

Over the past year, there was a change in the executive level which led to a decline in the staff and services. There are still some wonderful staff members, but some of the best have gone away.

APA has a very friendly stay and always has time to listen to concerns. The facility is clean and smells clean. Holidays are a big occasion and staff go all out to make sure everyone has fun. The rooms are spacious with large bathrooms and safety poles for emergencies. I am very happy that my father chose ADA. He says he is happy and made some friends.

CONS: They sent my dad to the ER without an advocate to help him until I could get there. He was there for 4 hours by himself. *Also, communication between nursing manager & I for plan of care was nonexistent after my dad had been there for over a month. I had been in touch with the immediate staff on a weekly basis but they had no idea as to what his long term care plans were. PROS: *The facility is clean and residents seem content. *Meals seem to be "comfort food" oriented. *Immediate care staff is quick to call with questions or concerns

Within the first month of mom moving in, the facility was sold to a new company named Chapters. Most of the staff remained the same and didn’t seem concerned. The facility is very inviting, clean and well staffed. The resident rooms could be a little bigger but then again, more space equals more clutter in some cases. There are very nice courtyards that provide outside areas well apportioned with tables and chairs within the secure memory care area. All in all, this facility provides everything my mother needs.

Addington has been very supportive to my Mom and my family. [name removed], [name removed]and [name removed] in the office especially. However, they just recently were bought out and will now be called Chapters Senior Living.

We had a decent experience with Mallard Cove. My mother only lived there for a few months before she passed, but they did take good care of her while she was there. They had provided care and activities for her to participate. We were not unhappy with the facility at all.

The staff and facility are great. Very clean, and very friendly. Very clean. I do wish there was more communication as far as treatment. Maybe even a portal. I have no idea when Dad sees a doctor. I have no idea when he gets a haircut. The little things...When does he need TP, toothpaste, deodorant. The reason for my feedback is that Dad is a new resident and I am not familiar with the process. I don't want phone calls, but an email periodically would be welcomed.

I feel that my mom is safe and well cared for. It is expensive but how do you argue? It's our mom!

My sisters and I liked the size of the facility and that they truly were an assisted living facility. Our mother had come from a facility that was independent and assisted. She would have the tendency to compare herself to the independent residents which ultimately was not good. The rooms were spacious. The care was not perfect but each caregiver was willing to help and showed compassion.

Mallard Cove Senior Living is not a bad place, I would recommend it to someone. They treat my wife very well and are very understanding of her disability.

Overall it has been a good experience for her. She enjoys the staff and the activities but the food and the dining room experience has not been very good. I know they cannot do a lot of seasoning and stuff because of individual restrictions but their food choices are not very appealing and the wait for their food is a bit much for someone with back issues. If the dining experience was better I think she would give them closer to a 5 overall.

They have a terrific staff! It's clean & smells fresh, the food is so so from what I hear but there's variety & plenty to eat.

Friendly place, reasonable cost.

The staff really provided my nephew and his wife the best possible support during my sister's passing. I can't say enough positive things about the staff's compassion and willingness to go beyond expectations. I hope that they are still in operation when and if I need a place.
