I started out very pleased with the staff and care at Hearth and Home. The facility is clean, homey and very cozy. They sadly lacked in communication when my stepmother developed a health issue. So we ended on a sour note. I wish it would have ended better.

Mom's room was nice good size. It stayed clean, her meals were ok, (she doesn't eat much). Overall I felt she was attended to, no big issues.

Overall the staff were great except for the ever changing price and confusion created from them not calculating bills correctly. Also dad had to pay more because he had to be lifted from bed to his wheelchair, which obviously costs more, but they would never get him out of bed unless we were there and asked them to. So you had to stay on top of them about that. I'm sure that's pretty typical but just sharing. Overall it was ok to good.

Most things are terrific. Staff is very nice & kind to my mother. They're having a little trouble now, they've lost some of their aides, so they're short-staffed at the present. Food leaves a little to be desired, they lost their chef & haven't found a replacement yet, so there's no one consistent fixing meals. Rooms/facility are clean & plenty big for mom. She doesn't participate in any of the activities, so can't speak to those. Our family is very happy with mom there

Overall, our experience was very positive. The director was attentive, responsive, and always quick to answer questions or help address any concerns or requests. The staff were also caring and attentive throughout Mom's stay. They did an excellent job with her initial transition, helping her feel comfortable, encouraging her involvement, and introducing her to others so she could make connections and feel included. The team made a genuine effort to engage her in activities and help her settle in. Overall, it was a very positive experience for Mom. In fact, I think she misses being there at times, as she especially enjoyed the afternoon activities and the opportunities to socialize.

What we like the most about the community is the way the staff care for the residents. The home like environment. Spacious rooms. Yes, we would recommend the community to others, however the only reservation I have would be the cost and how the medical staff responded to condition changes

Nice facility. One bedroom was nice but a little smaller than I was looking for. I’m still touring facility and not ready to commit to any place.

Unique , homey. Lively , Smaller . I also liked that it was in the country and 20 min from home. I also liked the trial month before committing. Maria was so Sweet and truly compassionate.

The doctor has an issue with over medication! We had her at the hospital last year and they reduced her meds. She was talking, walking around. As soon as she gets back he increased them again. Because one of the nurses said that she is too active. Now she is near vegged out. Always in her wheelchair and can barely talk . The girls that do the personal care are amazing! They spend time with her and I actually believe that they love her. The place is always spotless clean. The rate for her being there has increased dramatically. It's[Amount removed]a month now. Her son has POA, if I did, I'd bring her home, get our family doctor to reduce her meds But, like I said. The three main girls that care for her are amazing.

Truly kind and caring staff.

Need shorter respite care. Nursing staff less than desirable as they did not monitor meds well. When we were admitted, they did not do the proper follow up with doctors. Most staff were amazing, food was ok but they didn't give my mom proper food as she struggling with chewing. Prices were high. Some residents were not nice and very clicky. Admin was amazing.

There was one nurse that was not nice. The rest of the staff were fine though. My stepdad didn't participate in anything by choice. They're all expensive.

The staff is wonderful and they treat the residents with respect and care for them with kindness. They also obviously have procedures in place that are followed. So far we are very pleased.

As in all assisted living facilities there are sometimes things that are not perfect but overall I have found it to be very good. The staff has been caring and supportive of my loved one. Giving me updates daily on their care and informing me of any concerns.

I am pleased with the care my mom and dad are receiving. Still trying to get them fully settled. This will take time because it is a big life change.

here was a couple of problems with her getting her medication on time. But mostly the staff there is very good with her and treat her very well. The food is adequate.

I'm pretty satisfied with Wyngate. My mom doesn't need alot of attention so that's good. Her room is clean & they check on her. They have activities but she's not interested. Their meals are fine too.

Obviously we were apprehensive about moving my father out of his house, but Wyngate has become his “home”, as he even calls it that now. He has expressed that everyone knows him and calls him by name which makes him feel like he belongs, and not like a visitor. I appreciate the personalized care he is given and the efforts to recognize his personality and gifts so he can feel useful as well.

The food was wonderful, Administration was very welcoming, contact the Administrator and go dine with the residents to experience the facility first hand, it's a small facility with few amenities but its lovely and it was well suited for the needs of our family member.

They have been very accommodating for my dad. He has the aids wrapped around his finger! If he doesn't like his meal they bend backwards getting him something he likes
