For what we have seen they have been doing very good so far. We chose them because of the feeling I got, I liked the atmosphere. There really isn't anything I would complain about at this point.

I was impressed by the interior of this facility. The layout simple and the spaces / rooms seemed clean. I don't recall seeing much staff walking around, therefore I am concerned for any needs my Dad's needs. I will have to visit this facility again to make my final decision.

We are very happy with them, we like the individual rooms. The food is good, the staff is very friendly. We liked the care and attention they were getting. There really isn't anything I can think of that needs to be improved or done better.

They've done a great job here so far! The care is good, and the staff are incredibly friendly! It is a nice looking place, and always very clean. I think they could do a bit better communicating with families, I feel like I am always the one that has to initiate the conversations about my loved ones care. My loved one also said the food could stand to be better.

I wish they would bring Julie back. She was one of the main things that drew us to the community there was a lot of trust built up. If there was something wrong or if something needed to be done, Julie was right on top of it. I was very impressed with her dedication and concern. She gave us security, and we don't have that now. I don't know if I would have chosen them without her. I would give the food a four. If she has a guest for a meal give a call and they will bring up an extra meal, or sometimes a family meal, and we went to those and they were wanting to go eat afterward because it doesn't seem to be enough food. Her call button went off on accident and no one ever came to check on her. She loves her cottage, and she loves the people that come, and most of them will have a little conversation they are very friendly and very kind, the gal who cleans the cottage is really, really good!! We are so impressed with her. She is really ready to listen.

This was a good community and very nice. This was our first pick but my loved one would not have been able to afford this community so we were not able to go with this community.

My mom was trying to find a place to live that's independent and able to still do what she wants to. After looking at a few places, she had told me that she was working with Hearth & Harding. They had been to her home a couple of times to speak with her but they got very overbearing and pushy with asking her to move in, or when she would be. She told me that she would not go there if it was the last place on earth. They seem like nice people otherwise.

I just moved into this community, and I hope that they can get additional help for maintenance to assist with getting things done if needed. The staff is helpful, but I am hoping that in time the there will be activities to participate in. I am sure that that this adjustment will take sometime for me to adjust to being in my new home.

They do have nurses available 24 hours a day. It just so happens there was a couple here for rehab and he has a catheter at night, I don't know if its a 4 hour thing or how often but that's why he had to leave because they did not have nursing staff and they had to hire someone to come. I checked them out online and made phone calls and after the third phone call I figured out what kind of questions I needed to ask. The first was do you provide 24 hour nursing care (an Rn or LVN available 24 hours a day), the second was the overall cost and what things were included and do they have assistance to take them to the dining room and if they didn't feel up to going would the staff bring it to them and did they provide transportation. Based on not having 24 hour care, they weren't the best fit.

I'm totally disgusted with Hearth and Home of Urbana. I spent over $[removed] for 65 days of care. The food was unbelievably poor, I ate with my wife several times, it was deplorable. The nursing staff was okay. Everything was way overpriced.

We toured Hearth and Home Urbana during our search for an Assisted Living facility for our loved one. This facility was okay, but they were kind of high pressure and we felt more at home at the other facility that we were looking into. We decided to go with the other facility for our loved one.

I did not have a good experience. There were a lot of problems. You couldn't get ahold of anybody when you called. Nobody answered the phone. They keep the public areas pretty nice, but when you get back to the residents' rooms, it's not all that it looks to be from the outside. It just was not an overall good experience.

I would not recommend Madison Senior Living. My dad had a bad experience there. This facility is short staffed. You have to do a lot of the care for your loved ones on your own. Watch the nurses. They ordered two kinds of medicine for my dad and I was not informed about this. Also, you have to stay on top of the washing of the clothes. This is included in the monthly price, but wasn't taken care of on a daily basis. It was just not the place for us. Also, he got COVID while he was in this facility. I was not informed. I found out when I came to visit the next day. They took three tests. I only saw one....one test was left on the counter for all to see...I'm not sure, but this could violate Hippa Law...shortly after this, I took dad out of the facility. His meals were never cut up for him...he was in pain from his fall, and pelvic fracture. He needed help at this stage.

We did not like this community as much, there was just another community that was a better fit for my loved one. We were just not impressed and they were coming out of a covid lock down.

I don't feel that the staff is up to date to my mother-in-law's care and changes. She quit walking and they didn't call me to let me know. I came in to visit a few days later and noticed. She is close to the end of her journey and Wyngate was able to match her care needs but they could improve in some ways.

My experience in this community is okay, there are many things that concerned me about my mother's care. I feel they can be more attentive to her and her needs. There was a time were she got out the building and they didn't notify me until the next day. They also changed her level of care with out informing me. The cleaning could use some improvements. They need more nurse aid to help out. I just feel for the amount of money she is paying she should get proper care.

I felt that the welcoming they gave my parents was outstanding. I spoke with the manager and they asked if there was anything that would make my parents feel welcomed, so I told them they would like a six-pack in the fridge and for the priest to come and bless their new home and they arranged for all of it.

The quality of care at Wyngate has gone down tremendously over the last four years. They are unable to keep staff from nurses to aides to kitchen help. I am in to see my mother multiple times a week and familiar faces are few and far between. The resident care suffers temendously when the staff is constantly changing. We chose Wyngate because it was the premier facility in the Parkersburg area, but it needs to improve it standard of care.

This place was recommended to me from A Place For Mom. Initial conversations and introductions and a walk through of facilities were fine....but......when dad was moved in, things sure changed....no communication between nurses and patients and their advocates, meaning me. They changed his medicine schedule without consulting me....and several other things too numerous to mention.
