Garden Plaza of Aurora is really an impressive facility. It is very clean, nicely furnished and well taken care of. There seems to always be some type of activities offered. However they seem quite repetitive so i can see how residents could tire of them easily. The food seems adequate and they do offer regular set menu items in addition to the daily specials. The care givers are very nice and friendly - however they always seem rushed with all residents. Here's the issue - there is horrible inter-department communication. It's difficult to get an answer without being sent around in circles. A message left for the billing office 3 days ago and still no callback. If they could improve inter office/department communication - i would give a higher rating.

Food has been an issue since my parents moved in 5 years ago. They are currently training a server with no experience to be their new chef...horrible food. Constant staff turnover. Facilities are lovely. Rent raised annually regardless of capacity. Staff willingness to work with unique health needs extraordinary.

There are a number of unfulfilled promises. The activities person is leaving. They don't have many activities especially on weekends and although they have two buses parked in the lit, neither one works so residents can only be transported by a small SUV, 4 or 5 at a time. Food is good and the apartments are nice. Everything is kept clean but others should be told of the missing services as described above.

My sister is currently living at REMINGTON HEIGHTS. The last few weeks the food service has been limited. She has told me the staff in the kitchen has run out of food that was on the menu. Also, they are being served with paper plates and plastic knives and forks. That doesn't sound like fine dining as advertised. No help is provided if someone falls, 911 is the assist. I would not recommend this place.

Overall, very friendly. Maintenance requests take longer than expected. Staff try's to accommodate as needed. Cleaning of individual rooms needs more attention. The food was decent when we first moved him in, but they had a large change in personnel. Not sure how it has progressed.

It's not terribly spread out so it is easy to find your way around. It was nice to have an on-site salon for my mom. Employees that did not come from a staffing company would be a plus. In addition the food needs a lot of improvement.

My Mother lived there for 10 weeks. Occasionally we had to remind the staff about items not taken care of. But overall the routine days were great. The nursing staff were extremely helpful during her last few days.

I am currently a resident at Garden Plaza at Inverrary. When you put 100 people or more together, it's a very strange and unusual atmosphere - when you HAVE to see them every day whether you want to or not. Unfortunately, the staff here treat the residents like children. The activities are virtually zero and need to be greatly improved. Overall, most of the residents are incredibly bored.

We toured with The Bridge at Paradise Valley. They had us wait 20 minutes when we arrived at the appointed time The meet and greet person at front desk barely acknowledged us. The lady who talked to us was not very warm. Friendly but not warm . The room was not user friendly. Very few people there. First impression. Nope.

My mom was moved to a different room and they forgot to put the sign back up that the family does laundry. This resulted in all of her nice clothes getting lost when they did her laundry in house. I’ve contacted them and filled out the form related to this. Have never been reimbursed for the loss of her beautiful clothes!!!!

The cleanliness is good. Some of the staff has been really good. The food is okay, but they are short staffed. There is a wait, to get serviced for the food. It's an older building, so there has been some issues with hot water/plumbing. The apartment is nice.

Our family had an in person tour and we did not really care for it at all, it was not a good first impression and so at that moment we knew it was not going to be the place for our loved one.

My wife and I have toured over a dozen facilities thus far to find the best place for our loved one. Every facility has greeted us warmly except this one. We realize today was a hectic day for the staff because of the family Thanksgiving dinner, but the attitude [name removed] displayed while checking us in was unacceptable. If she is rude to potential future customers, I cannot begin to imagine how she would treat residents. I am giving them two stars because the room was spacious and bright, but the HVAC was buzzing loudly and [name removed] made no mention of it being fixed even after my wife pointed it out. We realize that no place is perfect, but first impressions count. We’re going to keep looking.

The Bridge is understaffed. The ones that are there are good, but being understaffed makes for poor service. They accepted my loved one - interviewed him and then accepted him in, but later asked him to move out. If they couldn't handle his needs they should've identified that up front up, and not wait 2 months to tell me that. I wouldn't recommend sending someone else there until they are properly staffed.

I would not recommend Bridgeview Estates. My loved ones have been very unhappy since being here. In fact my loved ones are moving out of the community due to their unhappiness. The food is served cold and is gross. The meals were brought to the resident's rooms due to the community being shut down due to the pandemic. The portion sizes are small. The promises made by the community didn't live up to what is being provided. My loved ones need to beg for assistance from the staff.

This was a very clean community, however we just did not get a good feeling from it. We did not care for the tour guide. It felt more like the sell was more important than us. It also felt more like a nursing home than independent living. There were narrow hallways and it just didn't seem good for independent living. Everything was also in the process of being changed or updated and we wanted to go into a ready facility.

Although the grounds are beautiful and the care staff are lovely, there seems to be a gestapo attitude in the management department. They went through all of our personal rooms, dresser drawers, and bathroom cupboards, without our consent to retrieve our medications that we purchased with out own money. They failed to keep a record of the medications they took and then they destroyed them without notifying me, my family or my doctor. They refuse to let residents with cardiac history carry their own nitroglycerine. There is a high turnover in the nursing department. The managers made us sign a new contract that they would administer our medications--I've been doing my medications for 50 years--and now it is going to cost me more to live here. I believe this is a patient rights violation and so I need to move on to another facility that treats us better.

I have lived at Cherry Creek Retirement for some time. The quality of the food has really changed. The meals wether (breakfast or dinner) lack appeal and a lot of times are not edible, frequently sending the food back. It seems that some of the kitchen staff have been there for a very long time and do not appreciate any feedback. Some of the wait staff can be a bit snippy with the patrons and many times you have to wait a very long time for your food. I have heard many people say they are dissatisfied with the food and feel there are some needed changes for better quality meals and a more pleasurable dining experience. Hope someone cares enough to make some changes.

We were not too happy with them. My mother-in-law was only there for 3 days and she fell and was sent to the hospital and had to go back to rehab. They charged us for 2 months. It was a nice enough facility but she wasn't meant for it. The woman that we worked with when we first got there was very nice but I think they fired her. When she fell they did send her to the hopsital so the care was okay.

The value for the money and room size is tempting but the building is very old, run down and we had heard that the care was lacking from multiple current residents or their families. This made sense because we did not see a single member of the care staff during our tour. We felt the sales girl was okay but not the kindest or the most thorough. Many residents just sitting in the lobby watching tv, very dark and dreary atmosphere and did not seem like there was much activity at all.
