It was good. The retirement village was too expensive to maintain residence. The staff was stellar. One in fact by the name of [name removed] who I think was the managing director at the time actually was very instrumental in saving my life!! High praise for the staff - ALL of them. Me ka ha'aha'a me aloha piha!

The elevator in the skilled care building has been down at least a month and will be down for another few weeks. Elevator in Independent Living is unreliable. Food options on menu is not always available. Sometimes, salads or hotdogs or milk isn't even available. Rent increased but food options and taste decreased, driver to take to doctor visits are limited and elevator is Out of Order sometimes so no way to get downstairs.

My loved one moved out after 3 months. The food was terrible. The place is old it needs a face lift. The staff members there were all good! While my husband was there, both elevators were not working at one time. Fire code??? Drag the clients down he stairs on a blanket??? I would not recommend The Bridge at Lawrenceville?

My experience with the community as it is very homey, feeling very friendly residence and older place.They have some work to do, but it's a nice place. Good value lowest prices around.

We were happy with Garden Plaza at first. The workers are great but the management company is poor. The facility had water issues in January and the place is still torn up. A normal business would have completed the work long ago. To add to the insult, they are raising the rent at the same time that many of the services are not available due to construction. We are looking to move our parents out of Garden Plaza into a place with better management.

Mother feels that administration is harsh. However we must consider the source. Mother has not been a model resident and makes choices not to participate. Though I will say she seems to be more settled now that it has been a year. Dining room staff are caring and helpful to residents.

Many of the staff were fine. Some were rude and inattentive however. Also, the quality and level of care in the mornings was lacking - nowhere near what we were told to expect. Not all of the nursing & aide staff seems to be adequately trained in handling patients in palliative / hospice care status. I should also add that a member of the senior leadership team was particularly uneducated regarding end of life care and actually disregarded (and went contrary to) the patient and family's wishes.

For the most part, we have found the staff to be likable and helpful. There were some items in the sales pitch that were misleading. For example, my mother doesn't 'check in' every morning by a certain time, and there is no follow-up to make sure she's okay. It was advertised to us that the facility provided cable TV, but the cable TV quality is very limited and poor. Radio reception in the room is poor and the shower head in the shower is difficult and awkward for an older person. We were also told that for the first day or two my mother was in residence an 'ambassador' (friendly resident) would come to her door to show her around and help her fit in. That never happened. According to my mother, housekeeping is very good, however, the cleaning lady does not speak English! Even so, my mother and the cleaning lady, who is VERY nice, still manage to communicate. It would be easier though, if she spoke some English. My mother does not seem to be very satisfied with the food. She continues to do most of her own cooking. We and my mother like the overall 'feel' of Garden Plaza. I think some of my mother's dissatisfaction probably comes from her not wanting to socialize very much, which is not the facility's problem.

The site has had major flooding and mold issues and extremely slow to respond and resolve the issue and many of the collaboration spaces have been compromised and no longer available for use. The food has dramatically gone down hill since we joined and it's under new management. The people who work there are great

If you can get yourself down to meals and fend for yourself, all is good. If not - good luck. Not an abundance of empathy. Based off of our experience, I do not recommend The bridge at Charleston.

Overall, I would rate Garden Plaza at a 3 in most categories. Although Staff and residents are friendly, meals are merely adequate. The menu is limited and repetitive- but what they do serve I find tasty. There are limited activities, but good transportation for non-drivers. The rent, compared to other residences I visited, is reasonable. Bottom line: you get what you pay for!

Our family had an in person tour with Bridgeview Estate and for us they seemed to be most focused on independent living. Our Mom needs more assistance. They called to let me know they couldn't accept her but 2 weeks later asked if she wanted to come. Also the facility was too big for her.

My biggest issue with the quality of care was that they interviewed [name removed] and accepted him, but aft about 3 months they wanted him moved out to a place that provided memory care. They should have done a better job up front in the interview. I told them he had short term memory issues and that he was very slow. They were quick to move him into a wheelchair after he moved there to make it easier on the staff and then said he needed 2 man lift which they didn't provide. I would only recommend Bridge at Inverrary if the person moving in has no memory issues and does not require a wheel chair.

The tour at Cherry Creek was nice. The people were nice. However, we felt the community was too fancy and more than we wanted to spend. This is the reason we decided to choose another community.

We toured Cherry Creek Retirement Village during our search for Independent Living for our loved one. This facility was overwhelming for my loved one, too big and too far to walk to the eating area. Maybe 10 years ago she would've wanted that kind of vacation environment, but my loved one was looking for cozy family comfort.

Unable to maintain leadership. Shortage of staff. Overworked staff. Issues with cooks and budget along with ordering g and food sources. Residents in the dark scared about this business closing. Price we pay for the benefits we had are gone. This business threatens Residents, move if your not happy.Our temporary management is behind closed doors and everyone is afraid to ask or say anything.

Well, what has been the most disheartening is the fact that they continuously tell us that they have a difficult time finding good help or are short-handed. They have repeatedly left my loved ones medications on the counter in her room. They are fully aware that she has dementia. They also rarely ever escort her to anything even though they told us we were paying for that as part of the Assisted Living package. In addition, housekeeping is poor. Not very sanitary in public areas, and lacking in my loved ones room weekly.

It is a very friendly and welcoming staff. It is an absolutely beautiful facility, very cozy and has a boutique hotel feel to it. Beautiful large apartments as well. It is right on the highway so there is a lot of turnpike noise going on. The food budget is pretty low, but the meals are beautifully presented, the dining room is the best dining room service staff I have ever seen and I have been to 6 different places.

It just did not feel like a happy place. There were multiple staff changes during the time my loved one was there. Aide response time was slow. My suggestions for improvement would be response time and more caring staff. We had no problems with [name removed], the Director.
