Hello I was moving my Love one closer to my other relatives so that they could get a chance to see her I was interested in the Life Care Center but they sent me out to the Westchester House. On [date removed]. the Admission accept my love one show me her room had me talk with the Business Officer I was informed how much I had to pay on that day I was moving my Love one in. I went to pack up my love ones items since they would be picking her up at 3:30pm from the Nursing Home she had been staying in. I received a call from the Westchester Sdmission Representative staying. I was informed that it was brought to our Medical Director that you always report the Nursing Home to their Cotporate office and State. Exactly was is it that you looking for we not perfect out here. We talked and she finally calmed down and lastly she informed me that I would need to bring the payment before they pick up my Love one from the Nirsonh home she was leaving. We were on the highway and the Sdmissiom Tepresentative called again and stated unfortunately with the new update informed until further notice we have to put transportation on hold. I asked what are you hearing that’s upsetting you and making you change your mind She told me she couldn’t disclose the information and for me to ask the Socialworker at the place my love one was leaving and she hung up the phone. I got a call later from the Socialworker staying that The Westchester Administrator called her asking why I report to Cotporste all the time and I told her to ask you. At the end the Admission Teptesentative informed me that they couldn’t take in my love one. Now if this isn’t the most trifling way of taking care of business, very unprofessional appeared that maybe you have something to hide. I later looked and saw the person hasn’t had any inspection since 2016 and the staff and medical care was a (3)? This was horrible I was upset that my love one was turned down after getting accepted because they didn’t want to take any chances of getting reported but I look at it I was about to make the best mistake ever. My advice to you is don’t go taking your love one to the Westchester House they not what they claim to be.

Although the grounds are beautiful and the care staff are lovely, there seems to be a gestapo attitude in the management department. They went through all of our personal rooms, dresser drawers, and bathroom cupboards, without our consent to retrieve our medications that we purchased with out own money. They failed to keep a record of the medications they took and then they destroyed them without notifying me, my family or my doctor. They refuse to let residents with cardiac history carry their own nitroglycerine. There is a high turnover in the nursing department. The managers made us sign a new contract that they would administer our medications--I've been doing my medications for 50 years--and now it is going to cost me more to live here. I believe this is a patient rights violation and so I need to move on to another facility that treats us better.

I have lived at Cherry Creek Retirement for some time. The quality of the food has really changed. The meals wether (breakfast or dinner) lack appeal and a lot of times are not edible, frequently sending the food back. It seems that some of the kitchen staff have been there for a very long time and do not appreciate any feedback. Some of the wait staff can be a bit snippy with the patrons and many times you have to wait a very long time for your food. I have heard many people say they are dissatisfied with the food and feel there are some needed changes for better quality meals and a more pleasurable dining experience. Hope someone cares enough to make some changes.

We were not too happy with them. My mother-in-law was only there for 3 days and she fell and was sent to the hospital and had to go back to rehab. They charged us for 2 months. It was a nice enough facility but she wasn't meant for it. The woman that we worked with when we first got there was very nice but I think they fired her. When she fell they did send her to the hopsital so the care was okay.

The value for the money and room size is tempting but the building is very old, run down and we had heard that the care was lacking from multiple current residents or their families. This made sense because we did not see a single member of the care staff during our tour. We felt the sales girl was okay but not the kindest or the most thorough. Many residents just sitting in the lobby watching tv, very dark and dreary atmosphere and did not seem like there was much activity at all.

I can only rate as follows: Nurse was above and beyond re care and communication. Administrative staff, including head guy and salesperson were awful and left a bad taste in all our memories. Enough to actively UNrecommend this place. However, we left in [date removed] after a very brief stay, so it's possible that none of these people are still there. Nonetheless, the brand is tarnished for my family. Except for the nurse, who deserves a gold medal and a huge bonus.

They will do what you can to get you there. If you need help you have to wait an excessive amount of time to get help. The food is sub par, and they are always out of things. If you have special dietary needs, they are not very accommodating in meeting those needs. To a senior who does not have much to do the meals are something that they look forward to. When you try to address a situation the staff denies the facts, and then you will be treated terribly. This would not be my choice of facility that I would place my family members.

The independent living was fine but once they moved to Assisted Living the place fell apart. The nurse changed 4 times in the last 12 months. The director is non responsive and avoids residents that have issues. The med tech on two occasions gave the wrong medicine. Some of the CNAs kept giving us wrong information on what can/cannot be done with the residents. Assistance with showers could several days past the scheduled shower and sometimes skipped all together without anyone to help. Turnover of staff was unbelievable and they would not call in outside agencies to help They do not post negative reviews on their website.

Our loved one hates it there and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Our loved one says the food is bad and response times are slow. Also, services we are paying for are not happening.

This was not an assisted living, this is more of a nursing home. Honestly didn't look due to the overall quality was so poor. The lies were overwhelming. Each time there was an episode either with another patient ( can't call them residents cause of the mental capacity of these people I always got an answer we would change it. Things only got worse. As patients walked into my mom's room unannounced and pushed her almost having her fall. When I asked for a nurse or supervisor the only person present in the facility was the activity director and she thought she could help.

Do not move here. We picked this community because of the care, food, staff- from management to housekeeping, but they need to learn not to lie.

If you care for your relatives at all, please don’t send them here. There are better options out there. Your loved one will not get the care they need and deserve. They do not staff for the level of care they have there. The way they calculate your cost is not right. You could be completely independent but take 18 medications (even if just vitamins) and your cost will jump more than a few hundred dollars. And don’t let corporate fool you, your loved one is just a number to them.

The experience was horrific. Care was minimal at best. Food was poor. Her interactions with aides was abysmal. She stayed 6 weeks. We moved Amy back to Ocala in worse health than when she left. She immediately went to life care for pt for approximately 4 weeks. She never truly bounced back. I was told by corporate a lot of staff changes were taking place. No excuse for quality of care IMO. I would tell others to talk to residents or family members if possible. Get info first hand.

My mom has lived here for a few years and things have seemed to deteriorate. Quality of service has gone down dramatically. The office won't return my calls. Used to be great but I've found a better value down the road.

I'm not impressed with the place. Would not recommend this place to ANYONE! The overall experience has been very unpleasant. The staff are friendly to your face but then will stab you in the back. The quality of care services is terrible. the meals are not fancy...teenager runs the kitchen....definitely no gourmet chefs like they advertise. I do not participate in the activities, and the value for cost is too much money to pay for services received and/or ignored. Very unprofessional here.

Initial unassisted living in the Harbor, quickly turns to required assisted living at the Bridge, which then progresses to manipulation and undesired fees for specialty services. Price appears low initially, with insidious manipulated price increase at 5x over a short period of time. Leadership team similar to mean girls in grade school playground. Immature and disrespectful to residents and care givers. Do not trust anything with this organization. Employees try hard despite toxic leadership team.

My mother was there for 2 years.. I had to move her to another assisted living facility after learning that her pain medication would come up missing on an average of twice a month.. the new director and charge nurse are completely clueless and don't care about the residents.. I've seen 6/7 great caregivers leave this job because of employee bullying.. they are currently under investigation with the state.. I seriously urge anyone seeking assisted living to shop around.. in the past few months, I've seen quite a few residents move out due to the bad conditions and major rent increases..good luck in your search..

My Mom lived at Pointe Frontier for about 2 years in the assisted living unit. It started out okay, but there was a change of executive director and things went downhill quickly. She had a very bad experience and I moved her out. If you are considering this place for your loved one-good luck to you.

They lost my Mom ,they didn't know where she was . My older sister calls me upset ,so I called them and told them they had better find her or I'll send the police there The receptionist told me and I quote like I tell everybody that says that , do what you have to do I told her that your company is unprofessional and uncaring Do not send your loved ones there!!!!!!!!

Zero star rating! My dad has been there for 10 days and they refuse to discharge him! He had Covid pneumonia and was transferred for PT, OT and respiratory therapy. To date, NO ONE has provided any of this! [name removed] refused to write orders for insulin, despite my multiple time per day request for the first 72 hours my dad was there!! Nurses don’t care, in fact there was no nurse for over 6 hours last Sunday, so my dad never got his meds until 1 pm, then they dosed him again at 5 pm! Cafeteria refuses to give him a low carb diet despite my going almost every day to tell them. Staff brings the wrong food - even gives double pieces of pie when he shouldn’t have any! Appropriate diet drinks have not been available for 4 days now. They refuse to discharge him because they’re getting lots of money from his insurance to keep him there! I’ve recorded so many problems with this place. Even the staff has daily comments about how there is no reason for him to be there! This place is a sham operation!
