Would not recommend. Brand new facility and excessive turn over with 4+ Executive Directors. Care issues and complaints. Consistency, relationships and security should be a priority!

I would not recommend this establishment unless your loved one truly needs to be on the highest level of services--and doesn't need nursing services. Personnel with try to itimidate your loved one into signing for more (unneeded) services, and give statements to Dr that were proven to be false. It took getting regional management involved to get things straightened out....and then hold them to that. Even with a written agreement, the individual tried to do the same thing and had to be reminded what the agreement stated. DOCUMENT all meetings and notes you send. Agree to nothing over the phone and don't let them rush you through meetings. It doesn't matter what they tell you if the paperwork doesn't match. Additionally, watch your bill VERY VERY closely. We had trouble for 3 months to get a straight bill and in the end, instead of us owning them $$$$ they owed us a refund!! Be aware there are NO nursing services overnight and if there is an issue, a CNA may argue with you about calling an EMS-even when there are injuries that required surgery. The day to day staff were pleasant and caring. They were the bright spot of this establishment. The director did try to remedy the situation, but wasnot able to ensure that the bullying individual did not continue acting unprofessionally. As a private pay establishment, I did not expect to have to fight to ensure my loved one was not safe physically and emotionally.

BEWARE- they do not have nursing 3rd shift Once we put our loved one in this facility, they began badgering her to let them provide more services. Even when our MD stated what should happen and after they were told to address their questions to the POA , they again went and started badgering her within 20 min of our leaving the building. Our loved one had a fall in their facility which required surgery and within a day of returning, the badgering (or harassment) began. We have witnessed wait times of over 40 min for assistance to come to the room. It may look pretty but not to be trusted.

I had recently taken a tour of this community with for my mother and I was not impressed with the experience we had. The fire alarm had went off while we where there and all of the residents where freaked out and where frightened. The staff just stood there and did nothing to comfort them or explain what was going on. I did not like that at all and would not want my mother at this place.

The only thing this place cares about is money not patients. there are not many good places to put your parents out there but this place is the worst. I don,t think they know a [Removed] thing about alzheimer's disease and don't care

Not a good.place for family.....The administrator is more concerned with how much she can get out of residents.....charges for every little thing. Management has their staff doing everything but taking care of the residents, that they pay for. They charge for extra care but neglect fiving that extra care. Staff works on a skeleton crew or at times even less. I see staff running around like they just cant keep up. And never see the nurses out lending a hand. Management is only worried about how much they can bring in for the company regardless of the care of your family memeber. Im sure you get the jest of Tesson Heights from this.

Not happy with PM. They were unable to handle my husband even though they evaluated him before accepting him. They were informed of his behaviors yet accepted him. They then sent him, UNATTENDED to the local hospital emergency room.

If you love your family member Do not let them live at Hidden Lakes. It was a good place in the beginning. But since selling out to Capital Sr. Living it has went downhill. The management is awful. The treat the staff bad, so therefore all the good workers have left. You can walk into the place on the weekend and there is noone to assist you. [removed] And that is just the tip of the iceburg. All your family member will be is a number and when they die they will be replaced by someone else. They will tell you what they think you want to hear and then do something completely different or nothing at all.

My father-in-law lives in Monroe Place in Bloomington, IN. So far, I am not impressed at all. I can't even count the number of times my wife had gone to visit her father and he was unclean, laundry not done, and he was sitting in soiled pants. The hands-on staff are as good as they can be, but I'm sure they are under paid so therefore turnover is high. Upper management is also constantly changing. Usually the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing. My recommendation, do not use this facility. We will be moving my father-in-law out.

Very unprofessional, uncaring establishment. I had an appt with the social worker to fill out paper work for respite care. I showed up and the social worker was a no show. Instead, the receptionist talked to me to say she was there to help me instead but she didn't really know what Amanda and I spoke about and the reason of my visit. She said, "you just want resources" when the reason for my visit was to fill out paperwork. I already have all the literature from a previous visit. After I left, I called the receptionist to tell her that just blowing off an appt with a client is not acceptable, specially since they are in the business of caring and dealing with people under a lot of stress. My voice was stressed and I was upset but I wasn't screaming. She said, I can't scream at her or she'll hang up the phone, then before I can respond she hang up the phone. Where's the compassion and the professionalism that one should expect from an institution like this? I can just imagine how they treat patients staying there who have dementia and can't speak for themselves. One would think that they would treat the family decently at least until the patient is in so one if left to wonder how bad they get after that.

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU MOVE YOUR LOVE ONE TO TESSON HEIGHTS! I moved my mother in on a Monday and she was dead 36 hours later! We found Senior Helpers were very unfriendly. They never introduced themselves or made any conversation with me or my mother. I asked them to remove her dentures at night since they were loose, but they did not. I found stool all over the toilet and her 1st alert broke in half. I feel their negligence caused her death. It has been almost 3 months since she passed and they will not return my money. They will not respond to my phone calls or emails. I even called the Corporate Headquarters in Dallas Texas. They initially seemed concerned, but now also will not return my calls. I informed them weeks ago that I would post an unfavorable review and it went to deaf ears. Please if it cost more money some where else, do it!!! Since this is not a favorable review, let's see if this gets posted...

We recently moved our father from this Assisted Living Facility due to the poor and abusive treatment he received by two of their care staff. The incident was witnessed and reported. The Executive Director and Health and Wellness Nurse "Investigated" however would not provide any evidence (even when asked directly) of any investigation and both caregivers are still working there. I have filed this mistreatment complaint at the state myself. This incident in addition to hour plus wait times on many occasions after my father has pushed his pendant for assistance, hateful care staff, email and phone calls ignored and not returned, and their hot meals suffering and being substituted for sandwiches due to the corporate financial strains on their budget! Not to mention the poor woman and her family that wondered out the door on a cold April night and was not found until the next day. I wonder why no one knew she went out the door??? The Waterford's charm, care, and loving atmosphere has begun to suffer since February 2020. I encourage you to read this article that was in the USA Today in April... First we felt the community was not good about communicating with us. We moved our parents into Cedarhurst because they said they would be a secure community. My mother-in-law escaped within the first 30 days. We felt there was never anyone available for answer questions. The experience over all was not good. The sales associate ended up being the most helpful and was there for us when my mother-in-law's incident happened and provided resources for us when we felt like the community was turning its back on us. We also noticed some of the services like trash pickup and room cleaning were not happening regularly.

Night before last a women with dementia walk out. Last night they took my father to the for covid-19 and hasn't even called any family. I Wouldn’t trust them with my dog.

My parents and I were so unhappy with the sporadic level of care and the constant turnover of a few good staff members. Had to hire 24/7 caregivers in addition. Wish there had been more Bloomington options then, but this was four years ago. Really a sad and painful experience.

The CNA’s do not seem to like their jobs and do not show care for the patients. Have a relative in memory care and the staff is not a good fit for the patients. Many issues with Cedarhurst. Something needs to be done to provide more caring staff that takes care of our loved ones everyday. Sold a different picture than what really is going on.

My mother has lived at Cedarhurst since it opened. During most of that time they have not answered call buttons timely. It can often take over an hour for assistance. They are perpetually understaffed. Terrible care. Feel sorry for the employees that are there.

Having gone through several Executive Directors, Maintenance Directors and numerous staff, we moved our parent out! Having now placed a Regional Director in charge that is a absolute travesty to all staff and management as well as residence, was the final straw. Employees are seen crying, upset and quitting on a regular basis. This is not the place to be a Dictator! Show compassion, love and understanding. Dining experiences are short of expectations when half the time there out of food. We have even been told by staff that the Regional Director tells them there is no more money for things until the end of the month. Safety is a great concern. Hot water regularly runs through the cold water lines and drains continually overflow. We even had a Fire Alarm go off and no one knew what to do. Not even the staff or Project Coordinator. Please don't do this to your loved.

Horrible place for someone to be!
