Our main concern is that they may not have the budget to open the Assisted Living section that was supposed to be open soon when we got there a year ago. We're just concerned that there won't be enough care for our loved one if she needs it in the future. They're also experiencing staffing shortages in the kitchen and in housekeeping. But she likes it there overall. It's clean, and the interior is up-to-date. She really enjoys having her own little space. She's not very social but is close to the kitchen and break room where she can go get snacks. I like that she has to go get her breakfast and lunch every day, and if she doesn't, the staff will come check on her, especially since she's had problems with falling. So that makes her get out at least a little bit, be a little active, and socialize a little bit. She knows and likes the staff and feels comfortable there now.

McClellan Assisted Living is excellent. My mom does not like the food, they need better cooks. The room sizes and layout of the community are excellent. They have an outdoor space for residents to use. Overall it has been a positive experience.

The staff members are wonderful! All the ladies treat my mother like their family. Mother is happy there :) The facility itself could use a facelift (carpet very worn) but I really feel like my mother is well taken care of there.
