Our family had an in person tour with Gardens of Hazel Green and we found the tour experience to be very informative, and we like that the community had a smaller number of residents. We really liked this community and it would of been our top choice.

My loved one currently resides at McClellan Senior Living. Overall, we're very happy with this facility so far. The only issue we've had is the elevator problems recently. Need to be able to use another elevator when there are issues. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Here two weeks. Everyone is nice, I'm liking it here a lot. Need to be here longer to love it. I'm sure I will love it. Staff and administration excellent. Residents friendly.

I would recommend Silver Comet Village to anyone who can afford it! [name removed] needs to be watched carefully about all of the things that she says trying to sell this facility--she didn't lie, but she was very smart when trying to sell me on this place! A lot of money matters weren't addressed until after I moved in! The housekeeping is excellent, and the food is good quality!

I am very happy living at the assisted living at The Gardens of Wetumpka. For the most, the time, they take good care of us. Some of the morale are not as good as I would like. The activites director works hard to plan trips and activities that are fun.

There have been nice improvements over the last 3.5 years that I have been associated with the Gardens of Wetumpka. * We are grateful the Gardens takes the residents to the store and other excursions. Getting the bus running is a big plus! * There seems to be plenty of activities for the residents, which helps to cultivate a community mindset. * The activities director is a special person, who is always willing to help. She has a great attitude and has blessed my family in many ways. * The admin and resident assistants have always been attentive to the proper medications and communication with the physician’s office. This certainly provides a level of comfort for my loved one there. [Since I’m not the resident, some ratings are omitted.]

Food is very good & staff is very nice & helpful. Decor is kept modernized & attractive. Management is fair & reasonable, & strives to make/keep the residents happy & safe. They offer varied experiences which are enjoyable for the residents (on campus & off). They are open to listening to concerns & making improvements as needed. I am thankful & comforted to know that my mom is cared for, like family.

It is overall a good place, and I would recommend it to others. The staff is wonderful and really cares for the residents. They want to do whatever they can to make them happy and comfortable. That being said, I would also strongly encourage people looking at the facility to discuss expenses with both the sales director and executive director to ensure they understand all the ways they charge for their services. I was caught off guard by the increasing charges for increasing care services, even after asking for an invoice. I just asked the wrong person.

I think Limestone Manor is a very good place for seniors to live. It is small and homey and very nice. The staff is wonderful and have always been willing to do whatever the residents need to make their stay more comfortable. I don't have many complaints except the fact that they are understaffed. Especially for the evening shifts. I feel that they should have more people so that they are able to take care of everything that needs to be done and still be available for emergencies and immediate needs the residents might need. I also know that sometimes all the meals are not good sometimes from what I have been told. But all in all the manor seems to be well worth the money compared to some other places.

The facility is small and convenient for family members. It has been recently remodeled due to some water damage. Staff shortages have been an issue lately due to inability to attract/keep workers. Facility security needs improvement.

I think Silver Comet is a great facility. They've been open less than a year. It's clean and organized. There have been some staffing changes, and sometimes communication is not always clear. For instance, I'll request certain things and not get a response back.

From what we have experience with the meals and dining service it has been very good - now our loved one is on a special diet so at times the meals can be a little challenging. They have a crazy amount of different activities for the residents, they have, bingo, board games, holiday activities, and they celebrate all the birthdays for each month. They do a very good job with the socialization aspect of it. One thing they could work on is when there is a cost change with the level of care they could be more transparent and upfront about the pricing. This will avoid having families be surprised or caught of guard by the changing prices.

This is a really great place for the value. It looks like a five star hotel, and it is less than we thought it would for the area. The management changes and billing areas have the family a little concerned and we are hopeful this will improve. The staff communication has been great! There are choices for the residents and there are two meals that are included. Some of the activities available include cards, bingo, movies, arts and crafts, gardening, outings, and more for the residents to choose from.

They were very friendly. It was a very warm place. It was a smaller community.

This is a very friendly place and is kept very clean. We are just a big family here, everyone seems to be very happy. I looked at several before I chose this and I am very happy here.

We placed our mom at the Gardens several months ago. The Gardens provide a safe and fun place for her and the other clients. She can have her independence along with as much or as little support as needed. Mom has been allowed to help with light chores also she can help out with walking with her friends. They take the clients on little around town trips to eat or shop which is very nice. The Facility is always clean and the staff are very friendly and treat her like family. So this has been an adventure and we are looking forward to what the future holds. I would recommend The Gardens of Clanton to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.

My Aunt has been a resident of The Gardens of Clanton for 16 months. She is not the easiest person to get along with but the staff at The Gardens of Clanton have gone out of their way to help her feel welcome and accepted. She enjoys the activities they provide, especially bingo. Facility is well kept and always decorated for holidays and special occasions.

Our experience so far has been good. The staff have been really good to our family member and to us, and they communicate things that are going on. They answer our questions. The activities I've seen I think they do a good job with.

As far as we know the meals and dining service is good and the activities. Based on our experience with Limestone Lodge we would recommend the communities to others.
