Carriage Crossing Management

My mom lived at CCT for 3 years prior to her death. The staff made her (and us) like family. My dad still goes there to visit, even thought mom's gone. I recommend this facility to everyone that will listen.

When the facility that my mom had called home for over 10 years asked that she leave due to her wandering, I was quite disappointed. But after the move to the Taylorville Carriage Crossing, it did not take long to realize she was in a much better place for her! They were very welcoming and helpful on move-in day. Her room looks homey. Hygiene and shower issues are much improved as she receives the help that she needs. Her nutrition is improved as well-she has gained some needed weight as, again, she gets the assistance she sometimes needs with eating. Her room and clothes are clean. She is encouraged to participate in activities as she is able. Overall, our family is very pleased with her care this past 6 months!

Everyone finds their place. Other residents notice and make sure everyone has a special table if they want one. Many activities, just choose what is within their comfort zone. No one cares where you came from or if you have a handicap, you are part of the family. There is turnover of staff but not as many as places I have visited. Special about the three Carriage Crossing’s I have visited is that each staff member is willing to step in to help any others roles besides their own. That is why my husband is at Carriage Crossing in Bloomington, Illinois!

Carriage Crossing at Taylorville took excellent care of my mother while she was there. I never had to worry about her safety and well-being. They have a beautiful facility caring workers. My moms time there was a very positive experience and I highly recommend this memory care facility for your loved ones.

After my father passed away, I was nervous to find a place for my mother to live as it had become clear that living on her own was no longer an option. That nervousness was put to ease by the staff and facilities at Carriage Crossing in Marietta. Here my mother found a place to live that allowed her to maintain a sense of independence along with a community of her peers but was also able to get the support and help when she needs it. The staff treats all the residents with the compassion and kindness of an extended family. The facilities are top notch and when I talk to my mother I can her a vibrancy and happiness in her voice that has been missing for a while. If you are looking for a place for a loved one I strongly urge you to take a tour and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I had a fantastic experience with this business. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. They made the entire place fun to work at. Staff was great, kind, and helpful. The residents had such a variety of personalities and it was great getting to know them. I loved being able to cook for them and bring them together during meal times. The remodel that was recently done absolutely looks amazing.

[name removed] does an excellent job at her job! She gets 10 stars! She’s got lots of new residents in the building since she has started at whispering chase. She always has a positive attitude and smile on her face. I enjoy living here, food is good most of the time. Only thing I would say they need to work on is cost!

Carriage Crossing Bloomington is a beautiful facility. The staff is really friendly and they genuinely care for their residents. Every single member of the staff is a true Angel. I highly recommend this facility to others, my Mom is really happy there.

It is one of the nicest assisted-living facilities we have ever seen. The staff is very friendly and helped us every step of the way with my dad. He loves it there. Carriage Crossing was also one of the more affordable options with our family's limited budget.

The staff here is very caring and attentive to their residents. It always smells clean and fresh and the housekeeping staff are so sweet. The food is good and there is always an alternative to the planned meal.

Nice place that isn't too big so you get lost and is just one floor so no elevator to get stuck in or break. People working here are nice and seem to know what they are doing. Going to move my dad in here when it's time to do so down the road maybe early next year.

I think the cost for Senior’s is TOO HIGH , because they don't Get that much Money from Social Security , it DOSEN'T't Leave them anything, unless they have a Pension to help pay them with the cost to live in these Assistants Living Places. I know if I had to go to one right NOW I could NOT AFFORD to Stay There. I only get Social Security!! It is SO SAD that SENIORS Don't Have Places that are Affordable for their Income.

This has been a good experience. The staff is outstanding. Everyone seems to really enjoy being there and it shows. It's a definite YES! It's difficult to accept your loved one can no longer manage on their own. In our case we knew this would be a short term situation while I recovered from surgery. I checked out several places and I don't think I could've made a better choice.

The facility director is very accomodating and responds to problems quickly. Staff is kind and courteous. I like all the residents at the location. I visit every other day, also mom is in hospice and the staff takes good care of her meds.

They were an excellent facility! I highly recommend this place! It felt like home! The staff was such a blessing to us! Our loved one had loving care givers. The meals were not always visually appealing nor were they always as flavorful as he might have liked. Excellent price!

the staff became family and the managers are always on the floor and available for interaction. The cost is a bit more than regular ALF but they are specialized in memory care and it is totally worth the extra.

I would most definitely say Carriage Crossing of Arcola is best in the area. My parents have resided there for over three years. I have nothing but great things to say about the center. The staff is fantastic. They treat everyone with love and respect. I knew that my parents were really loved by everyone there. When my father passed two months ago, I was still amazed at how hard the staff took it. It was as if their own father/grandfather had passed. My mother is still living there and everyone is helping her to adjust to life without my father. They were married for 70+ years, so it's quite an adjustment. I am unable to be with my mother as much as I would like, but I am completely comfortable with her living there. She is a social butterfly and by living here she is able to socialize with so many people which is great for her mental health. They also provide so many activities she can enjoy. Carriage Crossing of Arcola is the best and I am so grateful for them.

The facility itself is modern, comfortable and clean and has a warm and inviting atmosphere. The most important feature for us is the care given to the residents. They have become a family and they all show their care and concern for those residents. They truly have the best interests of the residents at heart.

I would recommend that a friend, check it out for themselves and let them know that I myself would choose to go there for care when I needed to. We picked this community, because of recommendations from others, cleanliness, proximity to other family members, and pricing.

We like how small the memory care unit is at Carriage Crossing. They also have some really nice activities to like happy hours with live music, they have special holiday dinners/dancers - There is a Valentines Day ball, Mardi Gras dinner, etc.
