This was a nice looking community when we visited. The people we met were very nice and helpful. The community did seem to offer some nice amenities including a pool. This community was just a little farther away than the community we chose.

CareOne at Somerset is a clean and inviting community. It is very homey and comfortable for my mom. The staff, for the most part, are very friendly, there are a few who are not. I do wish they could give a more detailed update of the residents when we call to see how they are doing, some of our family members do not live close by. We understand they are busy so maybe it's asking too much. The food is good, she cannot eat on her own, the staff is very willing to help feed her and she is eating well. We are extremely happy with all of the activities and events they provide for her, it definitely keeps her engaged. She loves singing and social hour before dinner. They have ice cream socials and she loves to participate. The great thing I love about this place is even though they are a locked facility all the residents help each other, I see residents helping each other, either to push other residents in wheel chairs to get them to and from places. They seem like a warm and caring family. I would highly recommend CareOne at Somerset Valley.

I was very impressed with the manager at this community. During our tour I had noticed that he knew every resident by their first name and that he really took the time to know them on a personal level. It was very down to earth living environment and the apartments they had where all very nice, My mom just would not be aloud to have her dog with her and it was a little to small for her liking.

My loved one is doing just fine at CareOne. The staff are taking great care of her, and she is receiving everything she needs! My loved one is having a nice stay!

Very nice facility with nice amenities. The larger one bedroom would be nice, but I would prefer two adjoining studio apartments to give my parents more space. Good onsite medical care.

I toured CareOne at the Cupola along with a few more and I think they were all good. The lady that took me on the tour was very nice and professional, she had information ready for me. Every candidate looking for assisted living is different and has their own needs. I found another facility that fit my mother's needs best.

CareOne at Hamilton was okay, but it was too commercial. It was more of an office feel. It would not have been a good fit for my mother.

I liked this community when I toured it. The person that took me on tour was nice. The community looked clean. They have beautifully landscaped outdoor courtyards and they allow pets. This community was just a little out of our price range.

The staff and everything has been wonderful here. Dad likes it and is happy. Dad says that the food is alright, but they need to spice it up a bit. There is no variety. Other than that they are very clean and neat.

Lots of staff! This is a very nice facility and the staff is very friendly; And lots of them! LOVE the fact that it has a rehab/sub-acute attached and so it covers all the bases of need. I feel confident that Mom would have been in good hands here. However, it is not quite the 'homey, house-like' feel we have in mind.

The staff at CareOne are doing a nice job, the apartment my mother is in is nice. I haven't been very happy with the aids. They don't keep the schedules and I have told the director she's not getting showers. It doesn't seem like anyone is reinforcing them. I have spoken to someone and I think it's happening now. The meals don't taste that great, they don't cook with salt. The marketing director [Removed] is by far the best, he knows all of the resident's names and whenever he see's me he asks about my mother.

My uncle is being cared for very well here at this community. They have a lovely staff, and they are caring for him and his needs very well. There are nice activities available for the residents. The meals are nice, he is pleased with the food. I know he is safe and in good hands here. So far everything is working out pretty well for us here.

We had a good experience during my mother stay here. It is a great community with kind people. The location wasn't the very convenient for our families to travel. I wasn't very familiar with the area. The staff was kind and helpful. It is a very nice community, I was very pleased with our experiences.

I believe the care was good and toward the end they were accommodating to my mom's needs. My overall experience was okay with the staff and community.

My husband was in the dementia care unit and received excellent care. He was always clean and dressed. He seemed content within his "world". The employees always let me know if he had been eating or not and how his day was going.

My mom is adjusting to living at this community. Depending on the shift you are working with some of the staff are more helpful and friendly than others. Mom does not care for the food. They do keep the community clean and they have a beauty shop available a few times a week. The only concern I have so far is that they only bath her once a week in the assisted living area.

My mother has dementia and I have looked at about half dozen other facilities . What I liked about Harmony was the separate communities based on level of need. Each community has their own garden and activities. They do have certain times when communities co-mingle such as ice cream social and movie time or even watching baseball. There are activities here such as music therapy and a little physical movement and stretching, art and gardening etc.The caretakers work hard to keep things orderly and their patients/clients are safe clean and happy. I think they do a nice job and take their job seriously. They get to know the people they take care of and have a great deal of patience and kindness. I really looked at a lot of places and for us Harmony Village worked best. This was not easy and still not easy. I still think about whether I should have my Mom in her home with a live in. I try not looking back. My Mom seems satisfied. She looks good and first and foremost is safe. My stress level at least for now is way down. My second concern is cost but this seems in par with what others charge. Good luck with your decision it's never easy.

Very big facility. Studio nice size. Hospice available when needed. Felt a little cold after visiting other B&B type homes. Prices are high. Christina was a great guide and very informative and would answer any questions I had.

This is a brand new facility and everything very nice and clean. Everything is going okay with my mother in law transition to the community. They keep the community very well maintained. The staff is great, they are very helpful. They offer great activities, my mother in law is trying many new ones. The activities director is amazing. Everything is on one level and easy to navigate. The responsive time for my concerns is very good. It has been a great experience. I would recommend it.

Overall I think they do a good job at CareOne Assisted Living, we're pleased with the decision we made in selecting this community. However, the quality has declined a bit since we moved our loved one in. For a few months things were great, but within the last month or two there has been a lot of staff turnover, and some of the services and cleanliness of the community has suffered a bit. I'm hoping things will return to their previous levels of quality once things settle down.
