It's ok

The community looks beautiful and is kept clean, but alot of unfulfilled promises. We were told our mother would be checked on throughout the night and that clearly was not happening. I just feel that because the residents can't speak for themselves, you have to be on top of things to make sure they are happening. It's alot of money to check that they're doing their job.

Lately room cleaning and laundry services frequently have been declining. Also, it seems that staff has to be alerted more frequently about issues relative to the resident.’s physical conditions. On a scale of 1 —5 relative to value of service, at best a 2 1/2. Some what over priced.

Ask a lot of Questions, Demand Answers if your families there!

My loved one was there for 2 years. They only did blood work 1 time that I could find. We removed her and placed her somewhere else and this new place did her blood work and we learned her blood oxygen was very low. Symphony at Cherry Hill kept saying everything was fine with her, when it was clearly not. She was seeing the doctor twice a month this whole time and never knew or figured it out while there.

Cater more to people with Dementia rather than Parkinson's

We chose this facility at the time because there were 3 of us looking and we all thought that it was the best one, it did not turn out to be that way. I would want others to know that they cater more to people with dementia rather than Parkinson's. There are a lot of residents who are further along and they were not mentally stimulating at all. Overall, I would not recommend.

Monitoring .Not looking good..!!

Just found out my Aunt is there..albeit temporary after a pnuemonia & wound infection bout. But the news I received yesterday is that she now has a open wound on her rear..after 2 weeks. She is 94 years old with one son.She lived alone, refuses to move with her son, out of state...But she did not have a decubitis when she left home or hospital! !Im very upset & heading there today, first time visit. I am a nurse & I personally referred her primary home caretaker who her family &I swear by.I also checked on her while at home. She had a small wound on her forearm, from scratching, taking off her lambskin, but it was healing after tx & physician office& visiting nurse wound care.If she has a catheter which Im hearing , along with her long term IV AB, then they are probably not turning her,not cleaning her well, not getting her up or nourishing her skin...We will see!!

Experience never again

I was a temp stay at Care One Hamilton I believe they refer to it as respite . To be honest this was not my first choice for one I wanted to go Home. When it was clear that Home was not an option we agreed to a nurse to meet with me. Discuss options. The nurse who came was very honest and sympathetic. I could tell she truly cared. She was not there to sell me but to explain what they had to offer. She is the reason why I chose Care One Hamilton . The staff truly went out of their way for me The care aides were very good my pendant did not always work . The Nurses in Day were clearly caring and knowledgeable I was not fond of the lady in black in charge of supplies She was loud wore a scowl and looked mad all the time The head nurse a skinny loud obnoxious woman she was not only unhelpful she was sarcastic she debated with me on Political issues Then made a comment that I was in utter shock I was so glad to leave this establishment I will say I enjoyed the meals and activities . I can also say the house keeper a plump woman of color did a fantastic job

Poor leadership

My parent has been living at Hamilton care one for few years The food is delicious The activities staff are very pleasant I think more activities would be great especially after supper to host a activity Nurses are the best The new Wellness Director [name removed] To be honest she comes off very defensive. She is a bit rude. I have heard her talk down to staff. She seems very upset if a resident or family member want to talk to her She is too busy . She comes off very unprofessional chewing and snapping gum as she talks to others. I am sure she is well experienced but I do notice she is a true dictator

Medford convalescence is better

My grand mother was there. They were fair to her, nurses were great. Techs were iffy. I was there every day with her for hours. Those nurses were worked far to hard for what they are paid. Same goes for techs. She was at one in Marlton. I do remember nurse [Removed] was great. Tech [Removed] was very pushy with [Removed] but did good job and [Removed]s was all around great and always did his best for her. My problem is, that while there she had another stroke and she wasn't really there and they could have cared for her but her Medicare wasn't paying enough at this point. So they wanted to send her home when she couldn't walk, talk or communicate. How can her fam care for her at that point!!?? There were a few other issues as well that could have been major but family was there often to spend time and keep track. But when care one basically kicked her out we found MEDFORD CONVALESANT on stokes road. They were great and took care of her in her final days. When care one kicked her out she lasted 2 weeks but those last 2 weeks were great for her.

Too Expensive

We had an okay experience with this community. Unfortunately I did have to move my parents out, because their rates were getting to expensive. It is a well-kept community for the most part, but their room was always very cold. I just think they were not able to provide the level of care my parents needed.

The lobby was very bland and boring

My first impression during my tour of the lobby was a little disappointing. The residents where all just sitting in the lobby and they looked like zombies. There was no involvement with the staff going on and they just looked sad and depressed. I would not want my mother living in this community.

Not pleased!

I was very dissatisfied with the competence of the nursing staff. They did not recognize an impending crisis in my mother. Also, when questioned regarding her medication, it was extremely important in my mom's health care that she not receive the generic form of drug. They told me she was getting the brand name! When I received the RX bill, it turns out she was getting the generic drug. They were dishonest.

The facility looks beautiful but the management staff is very slow to respond

Care One Livingston is a beautiful facity. However, there is still much to be desired regarding the care of a resident who is unable to transfer on their own and cannot dress or underess themselves. There were things that were promiced but not given for over a month, proceedures were not explained carefully, and aids are very slow to respond to calls, many times in a rush and not all are pleasant. After continually working with management for a month, things are begining to turn around but it can be frustrating. Some management is very responsive and tries hard, others are not. The food is very good. I'm not comfortable recommending Care One Livingston for someone who needs a great deal of care and watching over.

Medical incompetence

Staff is friendly, room is clean. Food is mediocre. The medical care is lacking.Nurses are LPN and unaware of medical issues. I had to call 911 twice to save my mothers life. She was hospitalized each time for five to seven days. The medical staff was unapologetic and rude. They did not even recognize their own incompetence. If you are fairly healthy with no complications it is a nice place. If there are medical complications good luck.

Looks like a palace, but missing the basics

Improperly evaluated for entry. Tried to keep her there even when they could not provide the level of care required. Moved client to long term care, then hospice. Now dead. At assisted living, dropped her 3 times. She was there a month and they kept half of the $18k. Looks like a palace but under served. Managed poorly.
