CareOne was much less expensive than the previous 2 facilities I had my mother at. The administrative staff were also much more responsive and helped when it was needed. Especially with paying out of pocket. I would definitely recommend CareOne to others looking.

The 4 ratings are because the cna/nursing staff seems to be short-handed and are always rushing to get my mom up and out of the room instead of letting her do things she can do for herself. They don't reinforce what Physical Therapy is working with her on like walking with her walker. They stick her in the wheelchair all day as it is easier for them. I feel the staff to patient Ratio doesn't match what Sales pitched to me. The head nurse and night nurse can be very abrasive and condescending when communicating with family members. The rest of the staff is great and they take good care of my mother. She is very happy there. The food, Activities, and facility amenities for residents and their families are great. Everyone is made to feel welcome. They host great family events for the holidays. My mom is never in her room. She is at activities all day.

I have to tell you that I was not happy with Care One Jackson in 2023. It seems that the administrator at that time brought down the quality and care of the residents. I brought deficiencies and complaints to that administrator's attention for lack of care for my mother and room cleanliness but unfortunately she did nothing to improve the situation. I made a complaint to the State of New Jersey and upper management of Care One. Thankfully that administrator resigned and things have greatly improved. So under the old administrator items 1-7 would get 1. With the new administrator they would be -

My husband was there for approximately 2 months after rehab. I visited 7 different assisted living facilities before I made my decision. This one was my choice number 1. This facility in East Brunswick is very well maintained, very clean, they provide many daily activities and the restaurant has many varieties of food. The staff was supportive and helpful all the time. I would definitely consider Care One in East Brunswick if you need help with loved ones.

Generally, that staff is pleasant. Communication with the family is decent and the food is good. I would recommend this facility to others, based on our experience.

All employees that work at Harmony Village first floor are very helpful and do their job well.

All the staff members are so kind, and seem to really like what they are doing. They’re very patient with each of the residences. The social worker seems to listen to the family members. The nurses are good. The prices are okay.

The staff is helpful and very friendly. Housekeeping is done timely and consistently. Communication on any issues is very good and they keep you informed of any issues. Move in process was very well planned as I moved in 2 parents on different floors the same day. I would 100% recommend.

I feel that CareOne at the Cupola is one of the better facilities that we looked at. We are not even thinking about making a change. The staff is good, as is the care. The food is sort of bland and that would be the one area where they could improve. I would very much recommend the facility to others.

The staff is kind will follow directions that you give to help care for your family member. My mom seems happy. They have followed her dietary restrictions that we have in place. They do a great job keeping the residents safe For food - perhaps offering more choices. Also, offering dessert after every meal. My mom loves her sweets recently and they don't always have dessert. Even a cookie would be great. For activities: more things to get them engaged... they seem to love anything music related. Perhaps having local high schools come and sing. It doesn't have to be much. Just a way to get them moving. As for help around meal time, perhaps they could have volunteers help or eat in shifts to have more hands on deck available

My mom has been there for three years. She likes it and the staff are very friendly to her. She seems well taken care of and attended to. She has made some nice friends. My main gripe is that the prices go up about 10% every year. When we first toured, we were told they go up every 3-4 years, and have been stable for awhile. But we've seen big jumps the past two years. We know the CEO makes alot of money, I hope these increases are going towards the staff and caretakers, and not more million dollar bonuses for the bigwigs in the C-suite.

I would recommend to others.Overall very satisfied. A few hiccups along the way. I chose this community because of the high ratings and the compassion of the staff I came in contact with.

Brand new facility, very bright and happy decor, clean, friendly and caring staff who are all patient and trained specifically for memory care. It will never be perfect but happy with our decision. Would like to see better meals and more group activities. Most residents are in wheel chairs.

We would recommend CareOne at Livingston to others. The only downside is how expensive it is.

My mom preferred this community as she was a former patient in the sister rehabilitation facility several years ago and enjoyed her stay there. I would highly recommend but also provide advice on expectations.

After looking at numerous facilities we decided on Harmony Village for a couple reasons. First, I would truly like to thank the director at Harmony Village. Her understanding for our father's needs and personal Caring was very much appreciated and a big factor in our decision making. Harmony Village May not have all the bells and whistles but their staff cares and does their job well. Once again on behalf of our family. We thank you!

Based on the experience we have had so far, we think we would recommend the CareOne at Somerset Valley to other families. Most of the staff members working there are helpful and overall it is a safe place for our loved one

We picked this community because: 1. All the staff is trained & practice the Teepa Snow method of caregiving. 2. Dementia patients are segregated by their cognitive levels on different floors. 3. Each room is identical & spacious & individual thermostat. 4. Care aid to patient ratio. 5. A nurse practitioner on site 24/7. 6. The facility is large, bright & spacious. 7. The facility is easy for dementia patients to roam around without getting lost because it's a large circle. 8. Each patient's laundry is done twice a week & individually, not co-mingled with others. 9. Room & bathroom is cleaned every day with deep cleaning once a week. 10. Regular daily activities besides physiotherapy, occupational therapy and hair/nails salon treatments. 11. Security & safety of patients are excellent 12. It's a bright happy environment. 13. Each patient's physical & mental health is monitored & reviewed with the family every three weeks initially then every six weeks. 14. Great communication between staff, administrators and family.

No activity person for memory care really needed to keep residents busy.

My mother lives in the assisted living portion. They are kind, encouraging, and caring. They have activities every day and try to get all residents involved. We visit every day so we make sure all is well. Her little apartment is adorable and they respond quickly to any work orders or maintenance requests. It is nice to walk my mother down the hallway and hear the employees call her by name. Very pleased with the care she receives here.
