The facility is clean and most of the staff is friendly and care about the residents, however some of the staff is there just for a pay check and they do the bare minimum. Also most incidents happened at night, and I feel the night crew is less attentive. It was definitely a journey settling into the facility, but overall it's a nice community, it's clean and the property is taken care of .

My mom raves about how good the food is. My favorite thing about CareOne compared to her last place is that they have frequent trips - to Walmart, Target, the library, Goodwill, lunch at local restaurants, etc. I think it adds a sense of normalcy to her life. Shoutout to [name removed] on the activities staff - everything she does with the residents she puts 110% into.

Friendly caring atmosphere. We also liked that there were 3 different communities based on cognitive level and cost. I would recommend this facility

The overall care depends on the staff some better than others the food is very individual thing but my friend complains a lot about it I've never really eaten there but there is plenty of options offered. Very friendly and welcoming. Activities are encouraged by staff and if the family member is not resistant to the staff they are good at getting residents to engage and keep involved

The administrative staff is excellent. The PT and OT staff are excellent. The recreational staff are excellent. The problem comes with evening, night and weekend care partners. Some of them have limited English skills and such heavy accents that it is difficult to understand them. Some are not friendly, seem to resent just being there, and do not seem to understand that the residents are confused and possibly frightened at times and don't understand what's going on. This is especially true with the wheelchair bound residents. They come in, release the brakes on the chair, and wheel the resident out without telling them anything about what is going on or even saying hello or being pleasant to them. They seem only want to interact with each other. You have to monitor how your relative is doing, question the staff about how they are doing and double check on all of the activities they are engaged in and medications they are receiving. If the staff knows you are paying attention, then they also will pay attention.

We were originally sold on Harmony Village because they promoted their "Augi" AI system which was to alert the staff if Mom tried to get out of bed. Mom fell twice while there and broke her hip. We told the director that Mom was a fall risk and would try to get out of bed without help regularly. After her second fall (no injuries) the staff recommended we get a floor bed that would lower to the floor at night so she couldn't get out of bed. The aides were wonderful, very patient and kind!

Careone at Livingston is the absolute best place to my mother. She is very happy. I love [name removed]. The director of the facility. She is always approachable open to a policy. Listens and gets the job done kudos. To her we need more people like her who her who are compassionate and empathetic. To what our family members are going through.

Shared common areas are well maintained. Individual rooms could use a remodel. Overall facility is good. The staff is great and my normally picky aunt finds the food delicious.

The facility is good, clean and close to relatives. The staff is attentive! However, the social activities are not appropriate to my father in law. Mu gather in law is a new resident and still getting acclimated to the new surroundings.

The place is very clean and the staff are friendly and competent.

The Executive Director, [name removed], communicates very well with the families, regularly letting us know via email or call if there is something we should know. [name removed], the Sales Director, is extremely engaged and engaging and works very hard to get any possible issues resolved. Staff are pleasant and seem to really care about residents' well being. It was definitely the right move for us and for our mother. We feel she is safe and as happy as possible in the memory care side there.

Good care from aides. Nurses can do little more than pass meds. Several things missing in 2 months-clothing, glasses. Nothing has been found. Expected this in a facility. Most important is that the staff cares for the people and give them great care and support.

Attended my son’s soccer banquet hosted at Harmony Village. Place was clean and nicely decorated. There was a small kitchenette area and a room with a foos ball table perfect for family visits. Staff were friendly and food was good.

The staff and administration are professional and caring. They really try to resolve any issues and are sympathetic to my feeling. The place is spotless. The meals are large, however they are very similar each day. No fresh fruit except bananas. The activities are good, could add something a little more upbeat sometimes. It is very costly to stay there, but they do have some amenities that other facilities do not, such as a nurse on staff 24-7. Thank you for reaching out and have a good night.

My mother in-law has been in this facility for a few months. She has made an exceptional recovery after hip surgery. Mostly, due in part, to [name removed], the physical therapist! He’s remarkable with his care and gentleness towards my MIL. His patience and perseverance has resulted in her walking and caring about herself! The facility is also very nice. Clean and modern. The nurses and staff are very caring. Sharon Schochet

Overall, individually everyone has been fantastic. I do think communication among the staff has room for improvement. I would recommend Careone at Somerset Valley. Overall we have been very happy.

It’s been an experience adjusting to the fact that my husband needed this care but I must tell you he adjusted immediately. Never asking to come home and enjoying the activities that are provided everyday. It made the adjustment very easy on myself and my children. The staff provide many activities for the residents and the families to enjoy Although some things on the house keeping side could be better. We as a family on a whole are satisfied with the help all of the staff afford us no matter what our concerns may be.

What we like the most about Sweetwood of Williamstown is the coordination and communication with the family members. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Most of the staff and nurses were very nice, but some of the nurses on the rehab unit were very unfriendly and dismissive-would not answer questions or help you. My husband was in both the rehab area and dementia unit--assisted living. Some of the aides in assisted living were excellent - others were fair. I had to monitor his personal care as far as showers and brushing teeth, shaving, etc. In the assisted living unit, he had his own private shower but the PT would not let him get a shower bc they felt he was not able to follow instructions well. (So he would never get a shower??). My own private aide along with the floor aide gave him a shower one day with no problem. In the rehab unit I think they showered him. Food only fair. Activities people very good. They gave me a good deal monetarily. I think the rehab unit was pretty good but the dementia unit needed more training to function in a cohesive manner. The aides needed dementia training and a person overseeing them. Many times it was hard to know who was in charge after the head nurse left for the day as all were nursing assistants. No nurse on that unit. My husband actually needed more help than they could safely provide so I had to move him to [facility removed] (more nursing home.) The administration were all very nice. In all fairness, [name removed] was a very difficult patient. Always trying to get up and walk and would fall. I would recommend. It is a beautiful facility. As I said the dementia unit needs some fine tuning. For the right patient it would be a good fit. I think they said they were getting a dementia specialist because [name removed] took a very bad fall there that could have been prevented with some coordination of care between the aides. [name removed] just needed a lot of care

It's a nice place but I would tell other families to, remind them to communicate the needs of their loved one.
