Our experience with Vintage Knolls has been a very good one so far! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are wonderful. They are very attentive and thorough, and I appreciate that they always have a med list ready for me to send with her to her doctors appointments. I received a number of personal recommendations for Vintage Knolls before I even looked into them, and I was not disappointed!

I think it's overpriced, and it's expensive, but then again all health care systems are overpriced. They keep the group pretty active. My wife doesn't participate in any of the activities. She is happy there and content, and I think the care she gets is very good. I do like the friendliness of the staff. I think the food could be better; doesn't always look that appetizing. For instance, hot dog looks thrown in the bun. no particular presentation. I had to ask to get the air conditioner fixed; they did fix it within one day. There are small housekeeping details; for instance, if a glass has been sitting on the counter for several days they don't pick it up. These are small things; overall I am happy. If someone asked, I would recommend this facility.

I think this place is great! My grandma lives here and receives the Village Care services, I couldn't ask for better staff helping take care of her every day. The staff is always nice and very helpful. The Administrator and Director of Nursing do an excellent job and are very educated with working with the elderly. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.

It's excellent all around. The staff is very friendly. Everyone there is very happy and that includes the residents. The grounds are very beautiful and the food is great. I have meals there with my mother once in a while and the staff is very attentive.

Our loved one was here for a brief respite, and they did a fantastic job! After I saw how wonderfully they treated all of their residents I knew that she would be in good hands and that I would be able to relax. They treat all of their residents like family and know everyone by name! I was also comforted by how thorough they were when we were filling out the paperwork, they really made sure they knew every single aspect of the care she would need. And, most importantly of all, she loved it!

They are doing excellent. They are good people. They are really good with her, they keep a close eye on her. We checked around and the pricing was actually a little cheaper. The food is good, they do a big lunch with a smaller supper, and breakfast. We chose this because it felt more home than a lot of the other places.

Nice place. Not much first hand knowledge, visited my aunt there several times.

Their attitude has been very proactive. When something comes up, any issues, they say we will find a solution. Not your loved one is doing this, and you need to fix this. The attitude is that's why we're here, let's take care of it. They have a strict policy of giving the medication. I could complain about little, tiny, picky things, like the lightbulb wasn't changed quickly enough, but when it comes the big things they are on it. They really know how to prioritize things. They visit the rooms every two hours or more. They have done everything right that I care about.

Their rooms are all carpeted, they have kitchenettes, with a microwave and refridgerator. It looks like a residence. They have an easy chair for everyone in the room. The meals were fantastic here.

They did a great job here. The staff were very kind and compassionate. They did a great job taking care of my loved one, and were always patient even when he got very crabby. It was a nice looking place, and they kept it very clean. One area I'd say could use some improvement is the food, I was not impressed when I tried it.

My husband has been on site with his Dad. He tells me all positive experiences! The staff is so attentive and caring; the food is perfect and hospice has been informative. He is most pleased with Sunrise Bloomfield!! Paul from West Bloomfield is a gem!! How caring, helpful and professional!! Wow! This company, A Place for Mom, is excellent!

My mother-in-law moved in 1 week ago. The staff has been wonderful making her feel at home and helping to introduce her to others. Village Care nurse is exceptional and has been great working with Mom. It is a lovely community that is perfect for her needs.

I am very happy. They are so friendly! My mom has a lot of needs, but they do a great job taking care of her. Everything is really, really good!

My husband lives there. I looked into a couple of others while we were looking at communities, and the atmosphere at the Elmcroft was the least institutional. It felt more like a 5-star hotel. Their costs are pretty reasonable and they also have medical staff on call if needed. The activities are very good, too.

My mother has been in about 6 different places and they were all pretty good but Waldon Woods just has that little extra. The have an 8 to 10 foot deck the residents can go out on in each building. She likes to go out there and setup her bird feeder and feed some squirrels too. Each building is smaller sized with only about 16 residents so it provides a more intimate community. Each building has a small dining room so when they have a meal they can all sit and talk and it’s not like a cafeteria but more like a dining room. When my mother was first there she could not believe they would give them cloth napkins, just goes to show how much they focus on the little things that make the residents happy. The whole presentation of this community is just really nice. I would recommend it to anybody in fact I already have.

Beautiful place and the staff was great! Love the thought of having everything included in the rate. Very reasonably priced.

They have been the best. From newsletters to christmas cards they are my #1 pick if we can afford them. Plus a great friend of ours is there.

Liked Walden Woods a lot. Liked the staff, the programming, the put put golf, the facility. It seems like this could be a "good fit".

This is a wonderful home! My father is now on a waiting list, and hoping to move in ASAP. First my family, then my father went for a visit and were very impressed.

They were extremely helpful and close to all her Dr.'s. That was what tipped them into the lead - as we didn't want to change all her dr.'s if we didn't have to. Also - thier "home" hospital is St. Joe's Oakland - which is where are hre dr.s work out of
