Everyone was really helpful. We had her in another facility before finding Autumn House. Wish I would of found this place sooner. She seems to really like it here.

My Dad is at Autumn Care East , Everyone there is so friendly nice and helpful. It helps me so much to know that my Dad is being well taken care of when I cant be there. I had choose Autumn House for my Dad and then before being moved I was told he would have to go on Hospice I was so upset to think he wouldn't beable to go they still took My Dad help me get all the Hospice set up all of the Staff there are just a GREAT GROUP of people. I would recommend if you need a Great Place for a family member Autumn House is that place.

Overall we are very, very happy. My parents are happy with it. They love the food and activities. They have helped with any issues that have come up. They have been very responsive to any requests or accommodations. I would rate them between a four and five. We have been very happy with it.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. The facility is very clean. The food is kind of mediocre, but my understanding from friends that have parents a other facilities, that's pretty standard for assisted living and nursing homes. Very little protein, a lot of starches.

The staff is great. Activities are average. Cleanliness is great. Room size is average. Food is slightly above average.

One of the staff was "rough" with my mom (her word) which resulted in a skin tear. She had a swollen wrist/ distal forearm swelling that resulted in an orthopedic visit. (Maybe a result of the same incident). She still doesn't like the food. The room is a decent size and clean. She doesn't participate in many activities but they seem to have something every day. Bingo, word search, coloring, making some type of food.

The room size is adequate, and it is a private room. Although the facility is older, it appears clean and tidy. There is a calendar for the residents listing daily activities, and it seems the aides do encourage residents to join in. My stepmom has gotten stronger while staying at Oak Leaf. She attributes it to the food...the chef is able to accommodate her diverticulitis diet. They have also scheduled her for PT, which helps, too. All of this will contribute to a better outcome with her upcoming surgery. My only concern is with the clinical team. They seem to rely heavily on one person, and she cannot be there 24/7. One evening, about 6:30pm, [name removed] fell. She rang her call bell, but nobody responded for 90 minutes! That's a long time to lay on the floor. Of course, they apologized, but they really need to address this as a staffing issue, and I am not privy to how Oak Leaf addressed this matter.

The studio apartment is smaller than we were initially told in the info packet. On-boarding could have been smoother- they didn't really explain policies and procedure to my parents, so that lead to frustration in the beginning. The staff are all really nice and caring. The building is nice, and there is a courtyard where my dad can go out with his dog- which was a big deciding factor. They enjoy that they can go any time of day to order food like at a restaurant.

There has been turnover in the staff recently. We're hoping things will run more smoothly once the glitches are taken care of. They have different size apartments. [Name removed] has a one bedroom on the ground floor. He has a slider onto a nice little patio. There is a kitchenette with sink, apartment size fridge, and a microwave. He has a big walk in closet and another storage closet in his hallway. The bathroom is a decent size with a walk in shower with a bench.

The facility was clean and well maintained. The room was a perfect size for two people to share. The room was furnished with a dresser for each person along with a closet for each. The staff that I met were helpful and friendly and treated my mom very well.

The staff is friendly and helpful. The food is great and the wait staff is very professional.

Staff is very caring and upbeat. Quality of care is good. Activities are very good. Food is very good and big portions. Cleanliness is good. Apartment size is perfect.

What we like the most about the community is their caring staff, the visual cleanliness and the sanitary smelling. Yes, we would recommend the Oak Leaf Manor North community to other families.

Mom was in the hospital and rehab again. When she returned everyone was coming in and hugging her. It made her feel really special. I would recommend.

I’m giving this rating primarily due to the frequent staff turnover. The dining room, in particular, often seems understaffed—either with servers or kitchen staff. According to my mom, there are times when it takes quite a while for someone to take her order and then bring out the food. I’ve shared a suggestion (at their request) about possibly improving efficiency and implementing cross-training so dining and kitchen staff can support each other when short-handed. Housekeeping has also been somewhat inconsistent. That said, I understand that staffing challenges are common in this industry, and it can be difficult to find and retain dependable team members. Overall, it’s still a nice community. The food is good and portions are generous. Most importantly, the staff is wonderful to my mom, and the medical team has been excellent. The common areas are clean and odor-free, which truly makes a difference.

I chose Heather Hills because of its location, reputation, and appearance, and quality of the staff. Each family must decide based on what their important factors are.

My mom has been there for 3 months and has a very nice large apartment. We are impressed with mostly everything except the food. She and many other are very very disappointed with the money they pay. I take her to forest hills foods foods and meijers to get groceries which she is mad about. She doesn't want to cook anymore. She's 96 and in good health but went there too because of not having to cook anymore. I do believe they need to do much more in the food department and get more experience help with people that know how to cook good meals. I am pleased with the care as they do check on her. I pick her up and get her out couple times a week. They have already raised her rent so please have some help get to everyone there since many are not

I will say 4 overall because I have seen both my mother and sister experience. The location is idle for me to visit daily. This allows me to see all aspects. The facility is very attractive. Prices are competitive but more attention to residents such as bed making etc. add to the monthly fee. Each additional care adds to the cost. Meals are good and enough. Events are nice with variety.

Everyone is great there. Food, activities, staff are all exceptional. Financial system is very good. Could use another helper. Overall very good. Nice and clean

We chose this facility because there was a place for both the husband and the wife. All of the staff have been extremely helpful and accommodating.
