My mother loved the Lodge at New Dawn. She arrived in the assisted living area and moved to skilled care as her needs changed. Although her time there was short, she felt instantly at home. The rooms were spacious and clean. The lodge atmosphere fit her personality better than some of the fancier type places. The nurses and aides responded to her requests within moments. They responded to call buttons almost immediately. Another place she lived, sometimes it would be two hours for a response! The administration was helpful to me in setting up her stay and so very supportive when my mother passed away there. This was the best place for my mother. I am so happy to have found The Lodge at New Dawn.

Three months ago, our family had to look for assisted living for our sister who has Dementia. We found Autum House, West in the phone book and called for an appt. [name removed], was a God send! He gave us a tour, and sat down and talked to us and reassured us, our sister would be well taken care of. He was not kidding! The staff are extremely efficient, kind, and caring, to all residents as well as visitors. That includes the owner, the office staff, the care takers, the laundry crew, maintence, and the housekeeping crew. The facility is extremely clean and well taken care of. One of the best things is they have CONSTANT activities for the residents to be involved in. Our sister is very happy there. We are extremely happy with Autum House West In York PA. This facility is a well oiled machine. There are some negative reviews out there, however I think they are from the previous owners. The Current owners took over about three years ago. I would recommend Autum House to anyone.

My aunt is moving in on Monday! I loved how spacious the rooms and hallways are. Everyone seemed very friendly. We had lunch there too and it was very good! We found a good fit for my Aunt.

nice has look of a nice hotel, amenities nice. occupants were happy& engaged. FREE ASSISTANCE MOVING IN. LOTS OF VARIED WAS ACTIVITIES. [Name removed] was very helpful.

The people at Sunrise were amazing to work with when my 95 year old mother's stroke made it impossible for her to continue to drive and live independently in the home she had lived in for over fifty years. The care my mother received was outstanding. The staff was caring and made an effort to get to know my Mom. They provided me a wealth of information to help my Mom. Their cooperation was particularly valuable since I was coordinating her care from thousands of miles away before I could get back to Michigan and help her move in to Sunrise. Everyone from the sales staff to the care givers were first rate. I cannot recommend this facility with any higher rating. If I was not moving my mother to Washington to be closer to me, she would have been a permanent resident at Sunrise. Lovely place!

I toured this facility last week and really enjoyed it. We are looking at building 3 for my mother. It is bright, spacious and has a warm feeling to it. The menu and activity calendar seemed wonderful as well. I am hoping everything works out and we can get my mom moved in by the end of the month.

Visited community. Longevity of management is great. Friendly and residents were friendly. The general atmosphere is upbeat. You get a good feel just from walking in and seeing the interaction of the residents with the staff, all staff. It is clean and inviting. Dining rooms located near rooms, easy walking distance for residents. Residents seemed to be enjoying their meal. Menus look good. Breakfast is provided for residents in room. Very large community/activies room. Enough room for all residents to participate if they like. Many many activity options, more than any place visited from trips locally to exercise, crafts. Rooms are somewhat smaller that would like Bathrooms are large. They have some walkout showers with not step up. Would like to see more options in rooms there. Dr and podiatry visits on site and a few days a week will transport to drs, dentists visits using their van. Laundry service is outstanding. They actually hand clothes and take them to room. Believe me others dont take that type of care. We were impressed form the minute we walked in. Receptionist very close to entrance. Dont let the street view fool you. They have a lot of outdoor and indoor space. It is more of a home feel inside. One of our final picks for my mom.

My Mom lives here currently and so far things seem to be going okay. There have been ups and downs but overall it’s been fine. The staff is good and are doing their very best to help her feel comfortable. They’re very nice and try to make sure she gets her medications and meals. We have no complaints at all. The facility provides a few activities for the residents. Recently, for the holidays, they had schoolkids come in to sing carols and gave the residents gifts. My Mom says the food is very good and the menu has quite a variety available. The facility is kept clean and looks very good.

We just moved mom and dad in and they love their apartment! It's the perfect size for them to downsize to with their age and abilities. Expect to be greeted with a warm smile throughout the building. You can tell staff is happy to be there.

Great environment to have mom in. Staff is very helpful and understanding. Has a great small community feel and my mom gained some great friends with both staff and others living there.

When my Mom’s needs changed, we had to find a new place for her to live. We found this place and it’s been going really well. The staff has been very helpful and they’re very understanding of who she is as a person and what her needs are. I really like the facility and she enjoys the activities. They provide a calendar each month for the activities for anyone who wants to participate. The building itself is not as big as some other facilities, but it’s very nice and cozy. Everyone knows her by name, even the downstairs business staff, which surprises me. I really don’t have any complaints and I would recommend them.

This community is great. They communicate with me very well. They know my sister on a personal level. They offer physical therapy for her. [Removed] is always on top of the medical issues. The lady who answers the phone is very lovely and responsive when I call she'll get me to the right person. The caregivers are nice and attentive. The food is good and she goes to the dining area 3x a day. I feel like we are getting our money's worth they do everything for her. The only downside to this community is no nursing staff. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

This is a great community for care. We like the staff and the clean environment for the residents. They offer a good menu of meals that are offered and a healthy variety. They have a few activities, but they could use more to help the residents stay more active with is good for my mom. The community has a nice environment for the residents to be able to sit outside and enjoy.I would recommend this community for good care

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. The staff have been friendly and very accommodating to all of her needs. I can not say enough great things about the owner and the ladies she has working for her. They have really gone above and beyond on making on making sure my mom is taken care of. Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

We are quite pleased with mom's move into Autumn House East. The food is much better than she expected. She said she is getting full balanced meals so she doesn't have to snack anymore. She must cancel meals if she is not going eat there, but then if her plans fall through she has to replace her canceled meal. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The decor is traditionally tasteful. The staff is very accommodating to my mom's needs. She was able to have her dog stay with her. There are nice grassy and shady areas to walk around for exercise. They provide a nice list of activities trips to buffets, dinner theatres, and other excursions. One of the things that used to be difficult for my mom was shopping trips, now she goes far less often and it is easier for her to maneuver her shopping cart in and out of her apartment. She really appreciated the elevator and how conveniently located everything is. We would recommend this community to others.

We chose Oak Leaf because it was closest and it forced my loved one to be a little more self-sufficient. So far, my loved one is doing good since his move. He has had a hard time adjusting, but they are taking good care of him and keeping him safe. The facility itself is clean and maintained well.

The care at this community is really good. The staff is caring and friendly. The community is clean and maintained. The meals are very good with a nice variety. We do like that they have a lot of activates. We would recommend this community to other families for the care of a loved one.
