Visited community. Longevity of management is great. Friendly and residents were friendly. The general atmosphere is upbeat. You get a good feel just from walking in and seeing the interaction of the residents with the staff, all staff. It is clean and inviting. Dining rooms located near rooms, easy walking distance for residents. Residents seemed to be enjoying their meal. Menus look good. Breakfast is provided for residents in room. Very large community/activies room. Enough room for all residents to participate if they like. Many many activity options, more than any place visited from trips locally to exercise, crafts. Rooms are somewhat smaller that would like Bathrooms are large. They have some walkout showers with not step up. Would like to see more options in rooms there. Dr and podiatry visits on site and a few days a week will transport to drs, dentists visits using their van. Laundry service is outstanding. They actually hand clothes and take them to room. Believe me others dont take that type of care. We were impressed form the minute we walked in. Receptionist very close to entrance. Dont let the street view fool you. They have a lot of outdoor and indoor space. It is more of a home feel inside. One of our final picks for my mom.

My Mom lives here currently and so far things seem to be going okay. There have been ups and downs but overall it’s been fine. The staff is good and are doing their very best to help her feel comfortable. They’re very nice and try to make sure she gets her medications and meals. We have no complaints at all. The facility provides a few activities for the residents. Recently, for the holidays, they had schoolkids come in to sing carols and gave the residents gifts. My Mom says the food is very good and the menu has quite a variety available. The facility is kept clean and looks very good.

We just moved mom and dad in and they love their apartment! It's the perfect size for them to downsize to with their age and abilities. Expect to be greeted with a warm smile throughout the building. You can tell staff is happy to be there.

Great environment to have mom in. Staff is very helpful and understanding. Has a great small community feel and my mom gained some great friends with both staff and others living there.

When my Mom’s needs changed, we had to find a new place for her to live. We found this place and it’s been going really well. The staff has been very helpful and they’re very understanding of who she is as a person and what her needs are. I really like the facility and she enjoys the activities. They provide a calendar each month for the activities for anyone who wants to participate. The building itself is not as big as some other facilities, but it’s very nice and cozy. Everyone knows her by name, even the downstairs business staff, which surprises me. I really don’t have any complaints and I would recommend them.

This community is great. They communicate with me very well. They know my sister on a personal level. They offer physical therapy for her. [Removed] is always on top of the medical issues. The lady who answers the phone is very lovely and responsive when I call she'll get me to the right person. The caregivers are nice and attentive. The food is good and she goes to the dining area 3x a day. I feel like we are getting our money's worth they do everything for her. The only downside to this community is no nursing staff. I would recommend this to my friends and family.

I have no complaints of how things are going for my mother since she made the move into this community. The staff have been friendly and very accommodating to all of her needs. I can not say enough great things about the owner and the ladies she has working for her. They have really gone above and beyond on making on making sure my mom is taken care of. Overall I would highly recommend it to anyone interested.

We are quite pleased with mom's move into Autumn House East. The food is much better than she expected. She said she is getting full balanced meals so she doesn't have to snack anymore. She must cancel meals if she is not going eat there, but then if her plans fall through she has to replace her canceled meal. The atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The decor is traditionally tasteful. The staff is very accommodating to my mom's needs. She was able to have her dog stay with her. There are nice grassy and shady areas to walk around for exercise. They provide a nice list of activities trips to buffets, dinner theatres, and other excursions. One of the things that used to be difficult for my mom was shopping trips, now she goes far less often and it is easier for her to maneuver her shopping cart in and out of her apartment. She really appreciated the elevator and how conveniently located everything is. We would recommend this community to others.

We chose Oak Leaf because it was closest and it forced my loved one to be a little more self-sufficient. So far, my loved one is doing good since his move. He has had a hard time adjusting, but they are taking good care of him and keeping him safe. The facility itself is clean and maintained well.

The care at this community is really good. The staff is caring and friendly. The community is clean and maintained. The meals are very good with a nice variety. We do like that they have a lot of activates. We would recommend this community to other families for the care of a loved one.

My husband is so happy at Emerald Meadows Assisted Living, the staff are super, they take such good care of their residents. My husband even likes being a part of all the great activities and special events and going out on the terrific field trips they have there. He enjoys the food and going to to the dining area where he can socialize with the other residents. He is making friends and we would both recommend Emerald Meadows to everyone looking for a place for their loved ones. They are superb here.

The staff overall did a good job taking care of my mother while she stayed for a respite stay. They kept her safe and were good to her. I asked them to help her in the shower and they did not help her as I was surprised.

I would recommend Autumn House West so far because they have been good to my mother. She is adjusting well since her move and everyone is very friendly. I had a meal there with her and the food is great, they have very good options.

[Removed] from A Place for Mom was wonderful in directing me to Autumn House East. My friend has been there since May 2, 2017 and is settling in nicely. I took her for a ride on Mother's Day but she was ready to return to AHE after 2 1/2 hours. Everyone there has been so helpful, caring and making her feel at home. I could have never found a place so quickly and perfect for my friend. I can see her health improving daily with the care she is receiving at AHE.

This is a wonderful place! I am so glad that I found the Hillside for my loved one. The Hillside does all kinds of wonderful activities for the residents and for the outside community. I would highly recommend to everyone to check it out!

From the moment I walked in I was greeted with a friendly warm feeling. The staff all looks very happy to work there and there's such a family like environment. I will be moving mom in this weekend.

The staff at this community where very friendly and helped my dad make a smooth transition into his new living environment. After the experience he had at his last assisted living they have really made him feel comfortable and assured him he is in good care at this facility. I believe we made the best choice for him to live in this place.

My parents recently moved to Autumn house. The staff helped to make the transition as easy as possible. The administrator, liaison, and director were very responsive to my questions and proactive with the care my parents required. They offer excellent quality of care and many services for the cost. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an assisted senior care facility. The facility is clean and food is good! [Removed]

While my mother was at the Elmcroft of Kentwood, she was very happy. She loved the place and had a great time while she was there. The girls from the staff there were phenomenal, they loved her and she loved them. We are gracious for the time she got to spend there.

Everything went very well with my mother's respite stay here at this community. It was a very nice experience, and it is a place I would consider moving her too for long term care. They have a very nice staff here, they were very kind and caring. I like that the fact everybody helped out around the community. There are activities offered for the residents. She was very pleased with the meals. She looked a lot stronger when I picked her up. I knew she was safe and in good hands here. This is a community I would recommend.
