My Dad is happy. He has renewed friendships from his church and met new people too. Well, things he enjoys is the Sunday morning service. His American Legion meets there. Twice a week ice cream social, and bingo. They are prompt to check on him and fix whatever needs fixing. Right now they are re roofing which is good. But he's been without cable for a while. My Dad is a people person and rarely complains.

With the quality of care, it has taken some time to sort out their complex medical routines with all new doctors. The staff has been patient and accommodating. Stoney Brook made our unexpected move go smoother than I thought possible. And after 3 months, our parents are settling in and have more friends and interactions than they have had in years. We are grateful for the safe place for our loved ones.

So Village On The Park is a great place to live. Everybody who works here cares about us talks to us daily checks on us. Make sure that we have what we need even if we don’t have a nurse care or any of that kind of stuff. They are cheerful and helpful definitely, I can’t believe all the stuff that is taken care of for me. All I have to do is ask and they take care of me. It’s beautiful and always clean and repairs are done like immediately. I just can’t say enough about the place because I love it here and the people are great .

They offer a lot of activities but my dad doesn't really participate (his choice). My mom died a year ago and they really did a good job looking after my dad a little extra right after it. He seems really content there- initially he was just biding his time till he could go home when they first moved there back in [date removed] After a hospitalization back this February- he told another resident he was glad to be home upon his return.

The care/concern was much much better than anticipated, the available activities were a nice bonus , the shared meals were a blessing, the rooms were clean. We would recommend a place for mom and village on the park !

My mother in law feels safe, welcome, and looked after by all members. I have recommended A Place for Mom to anyone who needs help with an elder. You were the only ones who listened and guided me. I spent years trying to get her help from doctors, the police, suicide hotline, and detectives. No one helped me. I found your information online and your guidance started me on the path to getting her the help she needed. She has her life back! I have my mother in law and my friend back. She spends her days laughing and joking not crying and scared. No one understands until they live it. I will recommend you to everyone I hear needs help. Stoney Brook meets her needs. They set up cooking classes for her to teach others and cook for the entire home.

I totally rate my living experience here at the Village. Excellent, no negative comments!!!!

Our loved one has passed away but they were great throughout the entire process from beginning to end. The staff in memory care were great as well. No complaints at all.

My loved one finds the food hard to eat & it's greasy most of the time. Great place to live with the exception of the food as mentioned prior.

I know that it is difficult to balance activities that are basic that everyone can do with one's that would interest more capable residents. Staff have been very friendly. Overall I would recommend Village on the Park Steeplechase.

I would highly recommend it. The people are so very nice. There’s always something going on here as far as things to do. oh, I think the staff is very well qualified. I think they do they work very hard to try to please you anything you need or want they will do for you if it’s possible and lots of fun.

Residence to be very friendly I have found the staff also to be very friendly and accommodating. I’ve had no serious difficulties getting adjusted other than reducing my stuff to fit into my room apartment, but I am pleased with the results and I’m pleased with the especially pleased with the physical location I enjoy the trees and the grass and being able to see things other than pavement when I look out my window.

Stoney Brook of Copperas Cove is highly recommended. Would not have my mother anywhere else. From the Director to the rest of the staff, they have provided great care for my mother and ensure she is happy and safe.

I love it here I recommend this place to anybody who is looking for a wonderful home we have many activities and we go on outing c HEB to Walmart and doctors visits. We have bingo and I go to the chapel and the staff is wonderful I go to exercise and then lunch and any other activities that they have. I like my apartment I don't have to clean they do my laundry and they prepare all my nails. I don't have to go grocery shopping. This place is beautiful inside and outside. Outside is full of trees and inside is very nicely decorated. I recommend anyone to come here.

The residents are friendly and you do get a family feeling atmosphere here. The administration is a very efficient and professional group and yet always ready to have fun and enjoy others.Our Executive Director, [name removed]is always available to discuss anything on your mind and is quick to handle situations that she is made aware of. I would recommend and do recommend Carriage Inn to anyone I talk to looking for a caring and loving place to live.

My Mom is in the memory care side. The staff is super wonderful! And it's always clean. The food in memory care is prepared in the indepent side & rolled over to memory care. The food is usually cold by the time the assisted & memory care residence are served. In the assisted & memory care building after 5pm, the doors are locked & you would need to wait until you can flag someone down to let you in. You have to sign in, at the independent building, then drive or walk to assisted living & memory care & wait outside until you see someone to flag them down to let you in. Not sure why they have it set up like that. Supposedly the night concierge contacts someone in the memory care building to open the door. But it's rare it happens. The communication between the attending physician assistant & family members is never documented for family to know what health issues, arise. Information is generally just verbal from a nurse who happens to see you. It would be nice if they offered a login system, with information of what the resident needs, physicians evaluation. As far as cleanliness. Very clean. Staff nurses are super wonderful! My Mom is a bit aggressive & the staff treats her with kindness & respect.

Village on the Park in Friendswood is a great independent living community. First, I noticed the beautiful trees and overall appearance. Taking a tour with my family, I was impressed with the inside also. There are many choices available to keep me involved and as busy as I want to be. Having meals here is a treat, and there is no shopping or cooking or cleaning to be done. I’ve acquired a new family, my Village People family. I am still independent with a lovely apartment and patio.

We had to decide where the best place was for my mother to live and be able to keep her independence. She has made so many friends and is getting the socialization that she needed. She is thriving at The Carriage Inn.

Residents were very friendly and helpful, staff were caring and responsive. Facility was clean and they had lots of activities if you wanted to participate, the ice cream shop and free popcorn.

Pleasantly surprised describes our first eight weeks as cottage residents. Village on the Park cottage living offered us the transition to senior independent living we were looking for. Meals were a big thing for my husband and the portions are good, plus he loves Bluebell sundaes on Tuesday and Friday after lunch. The dining staff are nice and meal options are offered. We have heard that the new chef's meals are better than in the past. The maintenance team has been excellent at completing requests to hang shelving, etc. and respond quickly (5 star service). This is an older property that shows wear, such as in the rod iron fencing but maintenance work is ongoing, the grounds are routinely maintained, and the building interiors are clean, safe, and welcoming. The sales staff were very helpful throughout our decision making process and move in, and concierge services are friendly and responsive. We recommend living here.
