The facility decor, activities, and entertainment are amazing. Always something to do with caring staff. The Studio apartment is 500 sq. ft., which is perfectly arranged.

I can't say enough good things about Carriage Inn Lake Jackson. As soon as you walk in their doors, you can feel the warmth from every single staff member. They truly care about their residents and are willing to help in any way they can. The Life Enrichment Team is especially amazing! They work so hard to have unique programs, like music therapy for memory care, and events to make sure their residents enjoy the later years of their life.

My mom spent the final two years of her life at Village on the Park in Friendswood. I couldn’t have had her in a better place. She was very happy with the accommodations, the meals, and the activities. Don’t let the fact that Village on the Park is independent living scare you off if your loved one needs assistance. They maintain a list of well qualified caregivers. Highly recommend this place.

I moved my dad in to Memory Care almost three years ago. He was taken care of by the sweetest and most compassionate ladies. Yes, there is somewhat of a staff turnover because they are not paid what they're worth. Sadly, we lost him last June. My mom moved in to Independent Living just a few weeks after his passing. The house was just too much for her to take care of. It was a difficult decision for her, but she has come to realize that this is exactly where she needs to be and tells me so almost every time that I talk to her. There was no question about which facility she would move to because of the care that my dad had received. My mom was familiar with Carriage Inn and the folks who work there. She has made many new friends and is very happy living in her new home. I no longer have to worry whether she's eating properly or is safe.

Carriage in is a great place. If the people would like to be involved, they offer a lot of activities and entertainment for the folks to be part of. I can't say my mom is happy there , but she tolerates it and I visit often. I go to acrylic art class with her and whatever else we can get involved in. Sundays I do her medications and visit.

All of the staff at Stonybrook have been wonderful and caring. The rooms are large. There are snacks and drinks offered in-between meals. Hair salon is open once a week. There are Crafts and games. They also have a theater.

The staff at Village on the Park at Steeplechase were responsive, attentive and friendly. What stuck out about this facility is security and nice adequate rooms were very nice.

5/5 we would recommend Carriage Inn at Bryan to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

I love this community. The setting is home like with beautiful resort style decor. My friend is always happy and always busy. The food is always delicious and the residents are all very friendly. When I retire, I'll live here too!

The security, the well maintained facility, the staff is well trained, caring and loving to all residents, the cleanliness of everything, the activities for everyone, help and snacks available all the time. The things residents didn't like are the unsecured internet that it was very busy, the TV cable that had few channels, and the food needed to include more vegetables. The kitchen was very tiny and other facilities have larger kitchens and have washers and dryers in the units.

My husband and I moved in last Saturday and since we have come to the Village On The Park, we have been so warmly welcomed by residence by staff and everybody’s willing to help and are so nice to each other. Everybody says they know your name they say good morning it’s just truly enjoyable the food oh my gosh, it’s so good And even my husband likes it. It’s nice having somebody pick up your garbage in the morning. You don’t have to try out there in the cold weather and [name removed] and [name removed] are the best ladies the sweetest ladies I have ever met.

The staff is accommodating and we are pleased with the facility.The residents are kind and welcoming. The food selections are very good and maintenance is responsive to any needs. I would recommend this facility.

I am still living here and love it. Have to rate them a 5 in all the categories. The Activity Director is outstanding and so is the dining room staff. Negativity is frowned upon, it is a very pleasant environment. They really try hard to please you with a smile.

My Dad is happy. He has renewed friendships from his church and met new people too. Well, things he enjoys is the Sunday morning service. His American Legion meets there. Twice a week ice cream social, and bingo. They are prompt to check on him and fix whatever needs fixing. Right now they are re roofing which is good. But he's been without cable for a while. My Dad is a people person and rarely complains.

With the quality of care, it has taken some time to sort out their complex medical routines with all new doctors. The staff has been patient and accommodating. Stoney Brook made our unexpected move go smoother than I thought possible. And after 3 months, our parents are settling in and have more friends and interactions than they have had in years. We are grateful for the safe place for our loved ones.

So Village On The Park is a great place to live. Everybody who works here cares about us talks to us daily checks on us. Make sure that we have what we need even if we don’t have a nurse care or any of that kind of stuff. They are cheerful and helpful definitely, I can’t believe all the stuff that is taken care of for me. All I have to do is ask and they take care of me. It’s beautiful and always clean and repairs are done like immediately. I just can’t say enough about the place because I love it here and the people are great .

They offer a lot of activities but my dad doesn't really participate (his choice). My mom died a year ago and they really did a good job looking after my dad a little extra right after it. He seems really content there- initially he was just biding his time till he could go home when they first moved there back in [date removed] After a hospitalization back this February- he told another resident he was glad to be home upon his return.

The care/concern was much much better than anticipated, the available activities were a nice bonus , the shared meals were a blessing, the rooms were clean. We would recommend a place for mom and village on the park !

My mother in law feels safe, welcome, and looked after by all members. I have recommended A Place for Mom to anyone who needs help with an elder. You were the only ones who listened and guided me. I spent years trying to get her help from doctors, the police, suicide hotline, and detectives. No one helped me. I found your information online and your guidance started me on the path to getting her the help she needed. She has her life back! I have my mother in law and my friend back. She spends her days laughing and joking not crying and scared. No one understands until they live it. I will recommend you to everyone I hear needs help. Stoney Brook meets her needs. They set up cooking classes for her to teach others and cook for the entire home.

I totally rate my living experience here at the Village. Excellent, no negative comments!!!!
