Very welcoming and friendly informative food is good, it's a bit overwhelming for mom, were hoping this works. We have never done anything like this, so are not sure what to expect.

[Name removed] is my grandfather-in-law. He is fun loving and sociable. He enjoys banter and social time. He has been experiencing short term memory loss but does not get aggravated when he has to be reminded of events forgotten. He is easy going and pleasure to be around.

I came her as respite after my foot surgery. Staff is very caring, Food is great. Community is very beautiful. I am recommending to my friends already.

I have been a member of Pacifica Senior living Union City for only a short time. The good people of my new surroundings have made my stay enjoyable one thus far and I am looking forward to a long relationship with all my fellow members and staff here at Pacifica. staff are so wonderful, food is great community is so clean. Big backyard for to enjoying outdoor activities.

My parents moved into Pacifica Senior Living at Union City 8/2020. My mother had Alzheimer's and passed away 11/2020, and my dad has vascular dementia and continues to live there. We chose this facility because the environment was much nicer than other places - patients have their own bedrooms and only need to share a bathroom with one other same-sex resident. The facility is nicely decorated, and my dad and several other residents call it the hotel because it looks so nice. My dad loves the food and even held off on eating homemade cookies during a recent visit because he didn't want to spoil his appetite. He is always happy and clean when I visit him. I had concerns for a while because there was a lot of staff turnover a few months ago, but the new staff seem much better - my phone and email messages are returned promptly, which was an issue with previous staff. The new activity director seems to be doing a lot with the residents - I can see photos and videos of the activities on the facility's Facebook page - and the new memory care director [name removed] keeps on top of everything and was persistent with dad's doctor's office when they took a while to return needed paperwork. He gets my dad's sense of humor and I like the way the two of them interact. Relieved that my dad's needs are being met and that he is so happy where he is.

We moved my father into this facility and the staff were very welcoming and caring from day 1. The maintenance team was able to get the room ready quickly and went above and beyond by assisting with my fathers furniture, which they didn't need to help with. The team fostered my dad as he came in not really wanting to change his ways, but after a short while hew as engaging with staff and other residents and having a great time socializing. As for his health, the team was attentive and helpful in his recovery and care. Within weeks, my dad was up and out of his wheelchair and is now walking fully on his own. My dad is someone who is usually adverse to new environments and people, but so far he has been having a blast and enjoying himself. His favorite is the onsite barber who comes and is able to cut his hair and shave him! Super cool. One thing my dad wished was up and running is the shuttle service. Due to pandemic and other circumstances, the shuttle is not currently running, but he is remaining hopeful!

Thank you for keeping my sister and I connected. I appreciate the video chats and love that you make it available for her. Even though I am out of state, I feel very connected to her, thanks to staff.

So grateful to all! You helped my family when we were going through difficult times. My loved one is stable and happy in the community. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

This community feels like home. We are Welcome and my Uncle is very calm and happy here. We love how the staff are so attentive. This is a great place for people with dementia.

My partner has been in three other facilities and Pacifica is by far the best. The administration and care staff are helpful, friendly and caring. The grounds are clean and attractive. I'm very pleased.

This is my first introduction to a memory care facility (not a perfect world). The amount of responsibility that goes into this type of work is unbelievably challenging most of the time. I have the utmost respect for all that are a part of Pacifica S.B. You are amazing, special people. I thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart for all that in a day or night depending on shift. You are compassionate, caring, humorous, loving, patient people. I love you all! He's in excellent hands at Pacifica. I can't say enough about their professionalism and compassion. I'm so grateful for finding the best place for him on such short notice. We didn't expect this to happen so early in his journey but I'm so grateful that he's safe and in good hands.

This place is great! It's small and they treat my loved one like a queen. She can be picky at times but the staff always respond kindly. The atmosphere here is very comfortable. My favorite part is that it doesn't feel like a nursing home, it feels like home but with so much more to do and so many more helpers. Thank you for supporting our family in this difficult decision.
