We toured with Wickshire Fairborn and it was too costly and looked a little depressing inside even though it is a better equipped facility than that of [facility name removed].

Our whole family was welcomed with open arms, not just my mother. And that was important - because even though my mother is the resident, she isn't' the only one going through something. Also, the way they speak to the residents and care for them is what you would want for your loved one. Even though the facility doesn't have all the bells and whistles, they make up for it with the care they provide. And that's what was most important to us.

The community has activities for the residents and the team did a great job with the activities. My loved one was never able to move in and the room they gave us was not the one they promised us originally.

The environment is very friendly and laid back. They break everything down for you very easily and show you were your money is going. They explain everything to a T. They did a great job showing my mom around and introducing her to the staff and tenants, and just easing her mind in general. I've already recommended them to friends of mine. The care services have been above and beyond. The staff are all great. I could tell right away their job is more than just a paycheck to them. The facility is currently under renovations, but it looks great and is still very clean. The food is fantastic. The dining hall is amazing, and their chefs cook 3 great meals a day. They offer so many activities, including busing the residents on outings. They have two ladies in charge of coordinating all the activities. It is an expensive place, but they offer great quality. And I have peace of mind knowing my mom is in the best place she could possibly be.

Overall, the family is happy with the care provided. They do need to hire STNA’s for each floor and shift who are able to help with personal care. The maintenance department may need a little more experience, it seems, because the repairs don’t seem to be done correctly. The women at the front desk are fabulous as are the majority of the current staff. It is, however, my experience that if there are incentives and rewards for employees, the care and production will be, by far, much better than average. The new owner seems to want to make improvements and this would be one big way to do that in addition to the building updates. Happy employees make happy residents and successful results. I’m excited to see the changes coming from the new administration because I’ve heard good things about them. I would recommend this facility to others because they do provide good care and I believe it will be even better in the near future. I believe there will be positive changes.

There are lots of activities and the community keeps you up-to-date on what your loved one is doing. The staff are great at communication and are responsive to the needs of the residents. The administration is helpful. The community is comfortable.

Wickshire is a lovely facility with large private rooms that fit the need of any individual. The room my mother has fits her needs perfectly. She is surrounded by all her furniture and belongings. The staff has quickly and joyfully responded to her requests and are willing to help with anything she needs. We know she is getting the medical care that she needs.

This is a very nice place and when I was looking around this was the best place. It was 30 minutes away from me but it was still the best choice for me. They were able to provide care that I could not for my love one.

Our loved one has been at Wickshire now for a few months and we could not be happier, it is night and day compared to our loved ones previous community. She has made so many friends already, the director and head of management has been extremely friendly and helpful. They have wonderful activities and a wonderful activities director. Our loved one is a huge gardener and they have taken field trips to different flower farms. They have a library that gets restocked with new books frequently. This community couldn't be more lovely.

Our family had a virtual tour and our experience was great, they took us around the community and showed us plenty of different rooms. They were one of our top choices, they weer so kind to us and bent over backwards to assist us anyway possible.

I really liked this facility. It has a fun, positive atmosphere and we went back for a second tour with mom. Unfortunately they do not take medicaid and the price I was originally quoted ended up being something like half of what what we would owe once they factored in mom's level of care (which, incidentally, was only level 1). Because of this, mom would have only been able to stay for a year or so before her money ran out and we'd have to move her...so we have opted to keep looking for better options.

I just toured the Wickshire West Lafayette community and loved it. It really and truly feels like a home. They have a wise and well program and are committed to providing a great experience. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable and beautiful, this is a great option.

I am in love with the staff who manage Our House. They are so friendly and helpful and really care about all their residents. My brother recently had renal failure and significant loss of sight. The family atmosphere and availability of exercise are helping him to regain his strength and a positive outlook on his life. Very important for him is having transportation to dialysis 3x a week in addition to all medical appointments which are included as part of his rent. The meals are all homemade without salt and are delicious. My brother appreciates the availability of snacks 24/7. The rent is on a monthly basis and very affordable. Another bonus is that a staff person is there 24/7 and various levels of assisted living are available for an additional reasonable fee. Currently my brother receives help with his medications from a nurse. I have only good things to say about Our House. As a life-long animal owner, I appreciate that residents are able to bring their pet with them.

The family member that we had taken there to The Grand Court Springfield has a good deal of memory. She needs help remembering where to go and what to do, and that is something they charge extra for. That is one area I think they could improve. She needs to be on a schedule but cannot do so on her own, but needs reminders and assistance. She is physically more than able to do things, but any time there is anything slightly different from the normal routine she tends to forget. That is the whole reason she is in assisted living. The staff is extremely friendly and it is a very nice place.

Loved it Loved it Loved it! The grounds are really cool, in a forest area, deer running around when she arrived. When you walk in, it is very cozy, not sterile. Cool environment, I wouldn't mind living there.

My mother stayed at Grand Court for several weeks in respite care. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. it was a very positive experience.

My loved one was very happy here and this was a pretty well rounded community. I have seen people with different ailments and all of them seem to be really happy at this community. I would recommend for your loved one.

The main reason we chose Deer Park was because of the Human warmth and interpersonal connection above all! The staff there has a high sense of purpose.

My loved one is currently a resident at Deer Park Assisted Living and the overall experience has been very good for her so far. The staff and care services are very good. The cleanliness and friendliness are also good. I would recommend this facility to others as an option for Assisted Living for their loved ones.
