I am very grateful to the staff. The executive director is terrific and it is clear she is developing a culture of care. My mom keeps telling me she is comfortable and the staff are nice to her. I can’t ask for anything more. Thank you!

I would give them all a 5. They clean my moms room every day and empty the trash cans. They have a good variety of food options. But it is an older facility. My mom has a microwave and refrigerator in her room, plus a little patio and sliding door. The nurses and caregivers are very nice. The director Shaunna makes you feel like family, and she knows everyone by name.

Kudos to the folks at Poland Village Assisted living for hosting such a nice Thanksgiving gathering. The seasonal decorations looked so festive. Staff really went out of their way to provide family members with a chance to enjoy a Thanksgiving feast with their resident loved ones. I loved the pies. Instantly added to the late summer's Margaritaville party on our list of memories with Dad.

Everyone was nice and smiling for the most part. Spacious eating area. Daily activities. The big thing that stuck out was the minimum length of stay for respite. 2 weeks was the minimum which no other places offered. We also talked to others and checked ratings that were all positive

[name removed] has adjusted nicely. She gets good care. And activities The place is beautiful complete with hot cookies every day. Plus many well planned theme parties and events a couple times I’ve told stories w [name removed] and how she helped me hear things. She was always a good housekeeper and I had to let our husbands make kielbasa at our house because she would not permit that in her beautiful home !!!

The director , and nurses, are great. The aides who I have worked with are good . But the newer ones may need a little more training. The cleanness is a 4 because the hallways carpets need to be replaced with linoleum and that should be in all the rooms not just some. The wear and tear takes a toll and it needs to be replaced. It looks bad. When I looked at Deer Park 4 years ago , before my aunt moved in I was told that all the rooms were changing floors and the hallway rugs would be replaced. 2 owners later nothing has changed about the hallway floors . Some rooms were done not all.

After a harrowing couple of years for my ill mother who passed July '23, my dad's safety, health, and quality of life took a sharp decline over the span of 8 months. He lost his wife of 54 years, and lost the desire to do anything including eating, good hygiene, and taking critical medications. He agreed to look into assisted living facilities and we wanted one that would be attentive, kind, and clean. After a long, disappointing quest of touring facilities, FAL welcomed my dad with loving, open arms. He absolutely LOVES the people, activities, and even the food! FAL has, indeed, added years to my dad's life, not to mention adding quality to his life. He is taking care of himself, he's gotten stronger with proper nutrition and OT/PT, and all hope has been given back to him and to our family. I would recommend FAL to anyone who is scared and lost in the overwhelming process of finding a suitable community for your loved one. [names removed]... THANK YOU!

Quality comes to mind from my experience with this facility. The staff is excellent, the amenities are great and I couldn't be happier now that I've found "a place for mom" I would highly recommend SAL for assisted living

My mother is SOOOOO happy here! Staff is friendly and genuinely interested in the well being of the residents. There are many activities to participate in as well.

They are very carrying and did a great job caring for my Uncle. They are very personable and know all their residents by name I would highly recommend Deer Park to others looking.

This place has been a blessing for my mom. This has been home away from home for my mom. She loves the food and variety of drinks. They clean her room every day and help her on everyday tasks. I visit every day after work so I see the effort they are making to make her feel at home. And the director knows everyone by name and mingles with them. She is extra special in the job she has to make them feel comfortable, not just her but all the staff are friendly and when I leave after my visit with my mom I feel like we made the right decision on Deer Park Assisted Living.

Mom’s health and mobility seemed to decline overnight. It became imperative that she be relocated from her second floor apartment, where she lived alone. To a place with no stairs and a community with people of similar needs. The director of Deerpark was very accommodating and empathetic to our needs. My sister and I live out of state and our schedules prevented us from immediately traveling to Ohio. With that said we were unable to physically see the apartment. The director arranged a live tour and answered all of questions on the spot. My mother, who was reluctant to move, absolutely loved the location, facility and staff. She feels comfortable and at home in her own apartment. Thank you

[name removed], the new Director, is working hard to make this a wonderful environment. Today we joined the Christmas brunch and we loved the food. The brunch was well-organized and fun. My Mom is very happy there at West Lafayette Assisted Living. The future is bright with this new leadership team!

What we like the most about the Wickshire Poland community is the overall friendly atmosphere of the community. We also appreciate and like the staff members willingness to work with us when needed.

The staff were very help, understanding and patient with my family. They did not stalk us with phone calls and gave us all the information we needed to make our decision and what next steps might look like. We are looking forward to our relative moving in the Wickshire Deer Park.

Our family had an in person tour with Wickshire Poland and the tour guide was very nice but I couldn't speak to the activities or the meals or anything. We ended up picking [community name removed] because it was equidistant to my sister and me.

The experience was good. They took good care of her. My loved one was only there for a short period of time, then passed away. We picked this community because, they had a smaller memory care unit, which was a big selling point. I would recommend to others.

They are so good about communication with the families. They go out of their way to help you when it comes to finding the best fit for your loved ones. They check in on them frequently and are just very personable with all of the residents. They know everyone by name, so they are not just a number. The lady who turns the place [name removed] is awesome and easy to work with. He is so happy here and I would absolutely recommend Wickshire Deer Park to others.

They're sometimes understaffed. Overall I feel like it was a great choice for Mom. They have great attitudes and really care for their patients. Call each patient by name and engage with them. They are also very friendly and welcoming to guest.

The staff is very friendly. My loved one is always warmly welcomed. She enjoys her respite stays when I must travel out of town. Cost is reasonable. We have used this facility now for three different 14 days respite stays.
