Brookstone Terrace

The staff members have been very friendly and in the beginning stages they really took away all that stress from us which we really appreciated. When we do get to come and visit the community is always clean and always smells very good. Based on the experience so far we would recommend this community to other families.

I would recommend them to family and friends!

We were impressed from the care to the cleanliness. They called and kept us informed. The food was excellent. They had plenty of activities. For what you got, it was worth the money. They went above and beyond. I would recommend to other families.

The community is doing their job and we do not have any complaints.

The staff was amazing and always made my father feel like family. I could just always tell that the staff actually cares. It was obvious in the way they treated the residents and how they interacted with them.

This community is a good safe place to leave your loved ones. The staff communication with the family is excellent. The three meals a day are excellent for the residents.

They have been really nice to me. Plus, my husband I feel fits in well with the other residents. He has been sick with pneumonia and covid, which he was sent over to the hospital for and he is much better now. I like that he is so close to the hospital, it is just a few minutes away.

Oaks at Chanticleer was actually our first choice, it is an excellent facility. I loved the atmosphere here, you could tell the staff really try to give residents independence but encourage them to participate in things as well. Unfortunately it was just too expensive for us. If I could afford it, I would have definitely chosen to put her here.

Brookstone Terrace of Simpsonville is a small, very personalized facility. The work staff is outstanding, as is the facility itself. I would recommend them to anyone.

Oaks at Chanticleer has been an off the scale experience for our family it has just been that good. The staff are so good about keeping up constant communication with our family and always making us feel welcomed. Our loved one at times can be difficult and they are very patient and work very well with our loved one. The facility itself is very nice, our tour was great, the residents engage with each other and the staff engaged with the residents and based on our experience so far we would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

The staff are super nice and very helpful. They call you if there's any type of problem or situation. They definitely keep in touch with you. When I go to visit, they're always out and about doing what they can to help everybody. And the facility itself is great.

We love Brookstone Terrace. We visited multiple places and this facility was above and beyond anything else that we saw. It is an outstanding facility itself, the building is very modern, clean, and has an open concept. Even the courtyard is beautiful - they have 2 of them. It is all well thought out and cared for. We love the approach they have, [name removed] and the team mix the memory care crew and the regular assisted living residents together. They are in the same living space entirely and mix together without distinction. That was a different approach than the other places that we looked at and we love that - it is a very encouraging atmosphere. We would highly recommend the facility to anybody looking, our loved one is doing great.

Oaks at Chanticleer is a full capacity community for dementia and Alzheimer patients - because of that there was not much stimulation for our loved one there but in terms of the care and the staff they were wonderful to him. They took the time to get to know him and make sure he was always okay. They contacted us for everything little thing that happened with our loved. The people were great, we had an enjoyable experience. It is a cute facility and we have nothing bad to say about the Oaks community

The community has done a great job with my loved one. The family was only able to be in our loved one's rooms while visiting due to COVID protocols and the visitors had to wear masks. There are three meals a day served to the residents. The staff communication was good with the family and they were very nice to work with as well.

When I went in there with my husband, they were going through a transition. They had a lot of places with new people in there and I didn't interact with them. Overall, I had a fine experience with Carriage House. This was a much better place than our previous community. The previous place insisted that my husband stay in their memory care unit, and he didn't belong in memory care. He was locked in, and the people who took care of him, a few of them were nice. The woman who was in charge was also in charge of assisted living and it was more than she could handle. We moved him to Carriage House; they evaluated him and they put him in assisted living. He had such a nice place, and they provided better care services.

Highly recommend it, she has just really blossomed there. We certainly can say we know we made the right decision for our loved one.

The staff was great, and they worked with me to get my loved one transferred quickly and safely. They worked hard to get everything done quickly. I was in a jam and had to have somewhere for my loved one to go. They were great.

Our Mom moved to Spring Arbor on [date removed]. She is enjoying living there. Meals are good, staff is friendly and caring, residents are nice and welcoming. It's always clean and safe. The activities are for all residents and they are always engaged as much as they want to be. Most days are busy, which is great! The check-in went smoothly. [name removed] and [name removed] are there to answer all questions and concerns.

I visited Spring Arbor of Thomasville on a whim. I felt at home the second I stepped inside. We moved my father into the Memory Cottage a week later. It has been a wonderful experience. He is clean, happy, well-cared for and safe. He says the staff always has things for the residents to do and that's what keeps him living. He talks about how nice the people are, the good food and sitting outside on the porch. It is the kind of place I want my kids to move me into when the time comes. It has been a blessing.
