Brookstone Terrace

My family and loved one have had a good experience with Brookstone Terrace. The staff are kind, caring, helpful, and professional. Everyone seems to be friendly. There are activities and meals provided by the community to assist the residents with socialization. We would recommend this community to others for their loved ones.

My husband was only there for about 2 weeks and was mostly confined to his bed. They really saved me and took him in when I was out of options. I will always be grateful to them. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families.

I love the inclusive design, keeping all the folks together. Food is excellent and the staff is caring and informative. We have tried multiple facilities and this is the best bang for the buck so far!!

Spring Arbor of Thomasville has caring employees and the activity director is great!! She does a wonderful job keeping the residents involved. They plant gardens, excersise, go places, make crafts and all kinds of activities.

Spring Arbor of Thomasville was a wonderful choice for my husband. I can’t say enough about how wonderful the entire staff was to him and also to me with support and true caring. The facility was always clean, the food was good and nutritious. The friendly and caring atmosphere was so welcoming. I recommend you check out Spring Arbor of Thomasville-if you are looking for a caring, professional, clean and supportive facility for your loved one.

We toured Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff when searching for Assisted Living for my loved one. The presentation was very polished and gave us specific answers to our questions as far as the long term options available for us.

My mother is a resident at Brookstone Terrace of Simpsonville and everything at this facility has been great for her so far! Communication with the family is great with the text message groups. The meals are good, and there's always alternatives like a chefs salad if you don't like something. The staff is almost always welcoming and friendly.

The experience was very good. My father was well taken care of. We picked this community, because there was memory care and it was affordable. I would recommend to others.

5 for all! Their communication with the family has been excellent. Staff is very caring and compassionate. My Mom had to go to the hospital for a short while and they text us daily checking on her condition. They also eat with the residents. When the new management took over they converted the existing staff dining room into an art room.

Our loved one was only there for [dates removed] total. He passed [date removed]. We were all treated very well in an extremely difficult time for our family. Even with it being a short experience, based on that time we would recommend Oaks at Chanticleer to other families.

It is always clean and there aren't any smells at all. The staff are quick to reach out to us when they are having a bad day. Communication is key for elderly care. My wife and I have been very satisfied with Carriage House as a whole. From initial intake meeting up until now, they have gone above and beyond care for my in-laws. My mother-in-law passed last month from dementia. We were worried about how my father-in-law would adjust to being alone after 55 years of marriage. The staff made sure that he was cared for and built up emotionally. It makes a difference when they care about the residents. We can see that they really care

I toured with a loved Oaks at Chanticleer. They were actually my first choice. So kind and welcoming. But my Mom lives in Spartanburg and [facility name removed] was 10 minutes from her house. The Oaks were in Greenville which was further away.

What stands out to me about this facility is their cleanliness, the people are always friendly, and they keep the residents busy with activities.

It was a good experience. The communication was good, and I let them know my concerns. My loved one was well taken care of. The food was good. We picked this community because, I did my research and contacted A Place for Mom. I got a warm feeling, it felt really good, and the price was good. And things worked out fine. I have already recommended to other families.

We were totally pleased with the care that our loved one got here at this facility. Anytime we would visit, the staff was always very friendly. Even though our loved one had Dementia, she wasn't always locked up on a hallway or in her room. But it was still a very secure and safe place. A lot of times they would have her in the community room, doing activities, or at the nurse's station. We saw improvement when she was here. She looked healthier and was more coherent. We were very comfortable with this facility, it was literally a sigh of relief knowing that our loved one was safe and well taken care of. They took very good care of her. It's a very nice facility, we definitely got our money's worth. I have and will continue to recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our loved one seems to be very happy at Carriage House, and compared to the precious community she is enjoying these meals so much better. She does not participate in activities now but we are working on it and we can see all the different things they do. We also are paying less at Carriage House but receiving more then our loved ones previous community .

We had the best experience for my mom's last 45 days of her life. The staff at Oaks at Chanticleer went above and beyond for our family. I would highly recommend this facility to anybody looking for care for their loved ones.

Spring Arbor of Thomasville ended up being our second choice, but it was a very hard choice to make! [name removed] the admission sales gal still to this day keeps in touch with me and checks in on mom, even though she did not move in here.

Brookstone has been wonderful for my loved one and she constantly says they take good care of her there. The staff have always been responsive and to any questions or issues. Staff has always been friendly when I go in.

I had some issues with the care level being elevated for my loved one and not informing the family. I tried calling the community and didn't receive a call back. I ended up speaking with an office staff member and they stated that my loved one was at an even higher level than I thought. I then received a bill for this higher care level, even though the office member who I spoke with stated they would take the care level down a notch for my loved one. It would be helpful to have more proactive communication about the care level changes and what is included in these changes from the staff. Overall my loved one is content and this makes the family happy. The community is very clean and overall everyone is very friendly anytime I visit.
