Brookstone Terrace

My mother was a resident at Brookstone Terrace. First and foremost, the staff were excellent. The communication from them was extremely helpful, consistent and they could be reached anytime day or night. The facility is always clean. They are constantly cleaning and tidying up the rooms. My mother's room was always in order and I never had to ask for anything to be done. Brookstone Terrace should definitely be at the top of your list for consideration. Ask for [name removed]. He explained everything and answered all questions. I highly recommend Brookstone Terrace.

I had to find an assistant living facility for my mother in law. I visited about 10 different facilities and kept coming back to Brookstone. Suprise visits. The staff, residents and visitors were a joy. I looked at the activites calender and it was full of activities for the residents. My mother in law was a pistol the first 2 months she was there. She, had lost her husband and was living at N Topsail Island. We had to bring her closer. She has decided that I made the right choice

My mom was doing poorly in another facility and had lost her will to live. Since we have moved her to Brookstone Terrace she has improved so much and has become her old self again. She feels loved and cared for and told me that no one has ever been mean or cross with her. We could not be more pleased with the loving care she is receiving there.

All staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. My husband was in the facility for a very short time of 4 and 1/2 days. During this time, he had an undiagnosed infection in his arm. He was refusing to take his antibiotics. He was admitted to the hospital. Doctors decided on surgery to remove the infected tissue. At this time, he could not speak clearly and I could not understand what he was saying. Patient’s Spouse

The caregivers are incredibly attentive and caring for both of my parents (both are residents). The directors are extremely supportive, and they are quick to respond to questions or concerns. Love it!

I can't say enough of how loving and caring the entire staff was with my sister. What those employees do is absolutely heroic. Easily one of the hardest jobs in the world ajd the do it with a smile, fantastic patience and amazing care.

Dad has passed this year, but Mom is getting excellent care. After his passing they worked with us to make sure we could afford having Mom there....she has a roommate now and all is ok

This facility has been incredible working with my aunt. They are very attentive to her needs and work with her through her challenges. I would (and have several times) recommend the Oaks at Chanticleer to anyone looking for a facility.

It's a very good place for your loved ones.

The staff make Brookstone. They all knew my dad and treated him with dignity. The onsite RN gave us comfort with his knowledge. I wish they had a location in the Charlotte area. Thank you to everyone at Brookstone!

We chose Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff because of the value for the money as well as the way they communicate and work with you. The staff have a personal relationship with the family as well and really get to know everyone.

What we like the most about Broostone Terrace is that the staff are very friendly, it is a clean community and the patients are well kept. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families who may need a place for their loved ones. A Place for <om made the entire experience easy

They seem to genuinely care about their residents. Interestingly, it looked to me like their occupancy was declining. The dining room on our hall was closed, and [name removed] had to go to the next one on the next hall. Then that closed and they started wheel chairing her to one on the main floor. I don't know, but I suspect that others may have done as we did and dealt with the huge cost increases by moving out. Sad, because it really is a nice place.

They were amazing! Couldn't have asked for a better place for my Dad for his last year of life with Alzheimer's!

[name removed] was exceptional in his role of helping us with all of the paperwork and specifics of moving in. The facility is always clean and the staff are consistently interacting with residents professionally and with care. Communication from behavioral health, PT, NP, etc. is always timely and thorough.

Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff is a wonderful place. My husband was there for 6 months before he passed away. The facility was clean, residents were clean, food was good. I ate there a lot. The staff was friendly and extremely caring and my husband received the best care possible. The staff was also kind and considerate toward family members. Activities were planned carefully with all residents in mind: Dementia patients are able to mingle with others and are not locked in a back room. The residents also have Bible study and other opportunities to worship. My husband received excellent care and the staff treated him like he was their papa. I still visit them and stay in touch.

[name removed] never made it to the facility even though we paid for 2 months. When we did go and set up it was a very nice facility clean and all staff was very friendly. They had a lot of activities scheduled and a great menu posted. Wish [name removed] had been able to be there!!!

My loved one was previously a resident at Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff and most everything about the experience was great. Our only complaint was the food. But everything else, for sure, was phenomenal. The support from their side was tremendous. I would recommend Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff to others.

We left like the staff truly cared about family member. She was only there 3 months before she passed, but they treated her like a long time resident. Based on the experience we have had with Brookstone Terrace we would recommend them to other families who may need a place for their loved ones.

What we like the most about the Brookdale Terrace of Thomasville community is the overall value for cost, the other residents living there and the staff members. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
