Brookstone Terrace

I would recommend this facility to anyone. The staff is outstanding, friendly and caring. The move in was odd as Brookstone knew we were coming and there was no help or direction at move in. Overall, we loved Brookstone Terrace of Simpsonville.

This facility is one of the.best I've seen! [name removed] made the admission easy, organized, and peaceful The Owner is there frequently, no trying to figure out who runs the place. No one has been scared of questions, transparency is so refreshing! Staff / patient ratio.is above regulation and so far, no staff shortages truly remarkable! My Father in-law is alert and engaged, acts perfectly content. The mix of Residents without memory deficits with those who have deficits has greatly benefitted him.

My Mom passed away in September but we liked it so much that my wife and I decided to move my in-laws there. Great place with very caring staff!

My sister and I toured so many facilities before we found the oaks at Chanticleer. We chose them because of how much space they had! My mom is a heavy wanderer and most of the memory cares we toured were small with little to no outdoor space. I was pleased to see that the oaks has 4 outdoor areas for my mom to roam around in. What I was not expecting was how well the staff were able to handle my mom’s behaviors. She has a lot of anxiety and gets aggressive often when I try and redirect her but the staff can easily calm her down better than I ever could! I am so thankful that I found the oaks! When I visit my mom she is so calm and pleasant and doing so much better now that she’s settled in there. I couldn’t be happier with the care and the service that she receives!

The staff is incredibly kind and helpful! Communication is top notch and everyone is quick to respond and address any concerns immediately.

What we like the most about the Oaks at Chanticleer community are the staff, the price and the overall focus on the residents living there. This community does nothing but memory care. 60 beds, all memory care.

I have used three different facilities in the Greenville Spartanburg area. This place is the best. The facilities are superb and staff excellent, and I love the way they work with the memory care patients...integrating them with "normal" residents for a real family feel...

I toured here a while back and had a great experience. I happened to be touring during lunch and got to see the meal the residents were served and it looked so delicious! The open concept layout would have been perfect for my mom to walk around in and I really loved all of the outdoor spaces that the residents can utilize. Unfortunately they were full and didn’t have availability but I also saw that as a great sign that this is a great community to bring your loved one to.

I’ve worked in memory care centers in the past, and I always said that I would never place a loved one in a facility if I ever faced that situation. I have to say that the Oaks changed my mind about that. The staff, and leadership, genuinely care about the residents, and it’s more than just a job to them. Knowing that my family member will be loved and properly cared for, gives me so much peace. There is not another memory care facility in the Upstate that can compare to the Oaks. This place is wonderful.

The Oaks was a blessing to us almost two years ago when we were searching for the best solution to care for our Mother, who was in advanced Alzheimer’s and Llewybody Dementia. She was actually discharged from the hospital into The Oaks with hospice care. Within approximately 8 days, we transitioned Mother off hospice and into full memory care protocol, which included activities and physical therapy. She has gained over 20 pounds and continues to do very well at The Oaks. The few questions or concerns have always been addressed immediately . The staff is amazing, and many have become extended family. I would encourage anyone to check them out if you’re in need of an awesome assisted living/ memory care facility.

The main reason we chose this facility over others that we looked at was because of the layout of the common room and the dining area as well. Oaks at Chanticleer was great with their communication. They were always calling me to give me updates on my sister. I would recommend this facility to others looking for memory care.

I did a lot of research before bringing my mom to Brookstone and was above satisfied. The staff is outstanding and very caring. I loved that there was no separation between the memory care and assisted living residents. Whenever I had questions or concerns , they were addressed immediately. My mother was happy here even though she could not join in the activities. Overall, if I could give Brookstone Terrace Simpsonville a 10+++ rating I definitely would. Oh and the food was great too

I really liked that it was a memory care facility only. The facility was very clean. The living places were bright. The rooms were bright. I liked the variety of the activities provided. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.It has been a great experience. The staff there are wonderful and are so well trained on the needs of the residents.

One place said they had no availability and didn't even want us to tour the facility.The other place didn't look as clean and staff wasn't friendly .Brookstone's staff was friendly, the facility was clean, the residents looked clean and engaged in activities.

The staff at Brookstone Terrace of Woodruff is caring and does everything they can to make the residents comfortable and keep them safe. They communicate well with me and our son. We did not have any issues with the move in process. The meals are good and substitutions are made for those that may have a problem eating or just don't like what they are served. The Memory Care residents and others are all together and not segregated from the other residents. I do recommend Brookstone Terrace to others. I'm there every day and our son comes several times a week.

I would say they have their issues, just as every other establishment, but overall pleased with the care of the staff.I would definitely recommend to others!! We picked this community because of the cleanliness and friendly staff.

I would recommend. Staff is also understanding when I ask questions. We picked this community, because at that time, it was the only place available. I would tell a friend, that their love one would be well taken care of and staff is very pleasant.
