We chose this community because they had a lift that my dad needed and they were one of the only facilities that could provide this. My dad is in a bigger room and it is a very nice size. They serve the food restaurant style, they have a menu with choices for the residents. My favorite part about this community would be the friendliness of the staff members and knowing he is taken care of. I would recommend Carriage House Senior Living.

We chose Carriage House Senior Living because of the cleanliness of the facility and the accommodations they were able to provide. The room sizes are adequate. My favorite part about this community would be the location, it is out by a lot greenery. I would recommend this community.

The most important thing is that what they offer is what they deliver. They are very transparent and they live up to what they promised. I toured several other communities and they did not compare to Carriage House. The food is exceptional food. Rooms could be a little bigger but they work for what my mom needs.

My husband has been a resident at the Haven for two years (as of Aug 2019). My family and I have been very satisfied with his care and with their care for us as well. We have been pleased with the staff. The management has always been willing to listen to any concerns we have, which have been few. The food is great and the residents have two options to choose from at each meal. The way this facility is set up is what draws me to it also. There are three identical sections and the residents are free to visit any of them. The resident rooms form the perimeter of each section, so when they exit their room they are immediately in their dining or lounging areas. This promotes more socialization and they have no hallway to walk through to get to a dining room, etc. The place is brightly lit, has great décor, is clean (and smells fresh), and has great pictures on the walls in the hallways between the sections. A nurse practitioner who specializes in dementias comes twice every week and can see any resident who may need some medical attention. A hairdresser is there each Saturday and a podiatrist comes every few months. So the residents are well taken care of. I call this "Greenville's hidden gem." The facility isn't fancy on the outside, but take a look inside and you'll be sold! Most of the bells and whistles in the newer facilities are more for the family members to appreciate than the residents in my opinion anyway. Check out the Haven if you are in need of loving care for your loved one.

I can't say enough good about Spring Arbor. They have gone above and beyond to help me with my father and his journey with Dementia! They have even given me so much information to help me understand this awful disease! The best thing they gave me was a book titled, "Learning To Speak Alzheimer's"! Anyone out there experiencing this disease right now, I highly recommend getting a copy of this book! It answers so many questions and gives real life experiences. My dad started Spring Arbor in Assisted Living, and a terrific value I might add. But, being his only family member available and my own health challenges with MS, I didn't have any available funds to help with his finances. The team at Spring Arbor was so very compassionate. I had never been through anything like this in my life, and through many searches and facility tours, I quickly received an education! All I knew was my Dad needed more help than I was able to provide him at home, and neither of us could afford it! At my rowes end with many tears, Spring Arbor's staff kept telling me to take a deep breath, calm down, everything would be okay. They made it okay! My dad was there a short while and needed to be moved to memory care! Oh my gosh! That's even more money, which I didn't have! Again, the Spring Arbor staff so concerned about me, took my dad on in memory care to help me! God's angels, is all I can say! Now, sad to say, his Dementia has advanced even more, and Spring Arbor can not supply the level of care he needs now, they just don't have the "extra" staff to supply that. He needs a sitter with him 24/7 until I can find another skilled nursing facility to take him! Of course I would have to pay for that! Since being put at Spring Arbor, I haven't found any more money nor won any lottery! So, again I can't pay for that! Again, Spring Arbor came to my rescue and provided an outside caregiver 24/7 for 7 days hopping to help me till I find another facility to care for my dad!! All I can say is, God is GOOD, and Thank You Spring Arbor! You are truly Angels!

We toured this community on a whim, and we were blown away. As soon as we walked in we knew this was the place for our mom. The feel is indescribable, we just felt so comfortable and at home. We were greeted with smiles, and you could tell every staff member valued us and appreciated us being there. We found out the owner is local and is actively involved which is a rarity. We moved mom in 3 months ago and could not be happier with our decision.

I am the POA for my brother who has been a resident at The Haven for the past year and a half. I mange this remotely and with a visit every couple of months and have found the staff helpful, encouraging, honest and demonstrate genuine caring for him. He is well taken care of with compassion and understanding of the residents needs. They are worth a visit when you need a place for a loved one.

My mother has been at the Haven for almost 7 months now. I was hesitant to place my mother anywhere but I was at the place where I could just not take care of her at home anymore. She wanders and had walked away from home during the night. The staff have been wonderful and helped me to calm my fears overtime. I can relax knowing she is cared for and someone is looking out for her. Although no one can ever care for mom like I do, I can honestly say they try. The building is clean, the food is good, the laundry is done and there is always something going on. I would recommend the Haven to anyone who finds themselves needing a place for their love one. I am very black and white with my words and don't like to sugar coat things. I would rate this community at a 5. I was very pleased with their cleanliness, friendliness and overall everything.

It has been going very well for us, I think he's been thriving since he's been there. Surprisingly he's been taking part in activities and going on outings, that was something he didn't even do when he was at home. I like that they keep contacted with us as family and let us know what is going on, I don't have any complaints as of now. It was very close to us a nd the rooms were a little larger than their sister facility we looked at.

We just placed my mother in this Alzheimer's memory care facility. Mom has so far been to 4 places, 2 were nursing homes and I have to say that this is by far the best we have found. She is well taken care of. The staff is wonderful, helpful and caring.....all of them! That is hard to find anywhere. We are thrilled to have her in such a great place and would highly recommend this facility to anyone. It is a little farther than we would have liked, but it is worth the extra time it takes to get there (about 25 minutes away). Mom loves it!!

This is a beautiful facility and the rooms are very nice. The common rooms are also nice and inviting. I wasn't comfortable with the number of doors that would allow my loved one to leave the grounds unsupervised. Memory Care facility, Assisted Living facility.

Would be our favorite overall if the rooms were a little larger. Good tour. Will have to see what my mom can pare down if we decide on this one.

The Director has been very pleasant. Took Mother over. Though she is not excited, she did pick a room!

Very nice. Small community. Convenient location. Friendly staff. Residents seemed happy. All on one level. Homey feel. Nice outdoor area. There was a urine smell in the memory care area. We could see Mom living here

Liked this one very much. 3 levels of care for the progression of memory disease, newer and nicer facility.

I find them to be very caring. They try to do the best for their residents. They have good communication with families. My mom likes the food better at Carriage House is much better than at her previous community. She likes the menu choices, food is better than we thought it would be. My mom is not into activities but they do have activities. My mom loves to read so that is how she spends her time.
