Brookstone Terrace

The staff is very experienced and know how to deal with people with Alzheimer's and dementia. The place is very clean and nice. They have great activities and the staff pays attention to everything would definitely recommend for mom or dad.

The staff at Brookstone are compassionate and treat residents like family. They do hair and nails sometimes and really encourage the residents to continue to enjoy life and participate in activities.

My mom had gotten to the point where it became to much for us to handle at home. We reached out to Brookstone for help. Best decision ever we could have made. The staff was wonderful very helpful. Care staff was amazing. My mom has a home away from home.

This community is not only located in downtown but has the picture perfect view of "family" they go above and beyond for their residents and their families.

1.Overall experience - 5 2.Cleanliness of the facility - 5- They keep they keep the facility clean and clean the bedrooms daily. Room size. I think it's a good size. My mom has plenty of room. She has a recliner, tv and furniture. The bathroom is large also. She has a roommate. They do have single rooms available. 3.Friendliness - 5 - All of the staff are very friendly to our family and our mom. 4.Quality of care - 5 - They truly care about my mom and her needs. Whither it be material or, emotional needs, They are there for her. 5.Administrative staff - 5 - the administration is amazing. They keep me up to date on my mom and things that are going on with her. They want her to have the best experience possible. I can call or text and they will update me on anything I ask. 6.Food - 5 - They have 3 meals and if she does not like something they make sure she has something to eat. They do not let her go without. 7.Activities - 5 - There are load of activities daily. Actually fun activities. They also are able to go out for activities which is great getting them out of the facility every once and a while. They have a music band and an Elvis impersonator who perform for the residents. 8.Value for the money - I looked at other places. This is a great value compared to the other facilities I had visited when looking for a place. Brookstone is a great place for people with memory care and assisted living. I love the fact they integrate residents that are there for assisted living with those who need memory care. It helps them interact with normalcy. That is what drew me to Brookstone. They really care about my mother and want the best for her. I am very happy we found Brookstone.

Overall, I would give them a five. Most of the aids were very caring and attentive. Meals were good and nourishing. The rooms were nice sized and my mother's room even had a little sunroom attached. She had a roommate who was very compatible with my mother. I would definitely recommend Brookstone to others.

They were under the management as [community removed] . We chose them due to the care they gave the residents . Then they were bought out by Brookstone Terrace of Greensboro . They have been doing a good job thus far .

We are so pleased with the facility and have recommended it to others. A very caring and homey feel and treats patients as guests and caters to their individual needs.

I was extremely impressed with the Oaks at Chanticleer. Would definitely give them a 5. The staff are amazing, great activities, things run smoothly, very good food.
