Brookdale

I feel like this is a good place for senior citizens. I feel or though my need are met and there are some good activities to be a part of.

The Brookdale has been a great improvement in my father's quality of life. He walks to the dining room 3 times a day and then there are snacks. He often sits in the common area and is frequently greeted. My brother [name removed] is the one living there and sees him 2-3 x per week. So far, he thinks things are going well. . I would recommend it, but, he isn't a very particular person when it comes to environment. He's far more interested in daily ice cream.

Sales Team-Very thorough, Trustworthy with no hidden fees, wonderful follow up Business Mgr- Went above & beyond to help us with forms for LTC and other items. Great Personality. Dir of Memory Care - Caring for people is her passion. She lives and breathes her work. She is involved with every aspect of MC. Constantly interacts with residents. Cares for people: residents & family. Dir of Activities- Outstanding personality, hands on involvement every day in every way. A blessing. Dir of Nursing & Nursing Team & Med Techs - Competent, knowledgeable, responsive, so extremely happy with the team. We adore them already Care Givers - An area of concern in past communities. These care givers seem to CARE and aren't sitting around doing nothing like we've seen in other places. Super hands on with our loved on. We appreciate them. Front Desk - Cheerful always. They also help to manage extra services for MC residents which we have not seen at other communities. Very much appreciated.

They were very patient with my aunt as she was very combative. I loved what was available for the clients. However, [name removed] was too close to the end of life to enjoy their activities. I would recommend them to others. Great staff.

Excellent. They are taking really good care of my 98 year old dad. He's happy. Staff are consistently pleasant and friendly.

They are a 5 for sure they are treating my mom very well the staff is professional they worked with me on financial matters they are just a wonderful group of people and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a loved one cared for.

The facility was very comfortable, clean and open. All personnel were very helpful and I thought my mother would like having such a nice cafeteria. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Brookdale Vista has been so helpful and accommodating. My Dad feels very content there and our family is very grateful that his health is stable and he is safe.

I have been a resident for six months at Brookdale. It is my first and only experience in a senior living community. Ten years ago, my mother in law resided here so we were familiar with what it offered as far as good location, comfortable apartments, dining program, health assistance when needed, and interactive opportunities for the residents. Assistance from the staff when needed has been very helpful and we are pleased with our decision to move in.

My experience was fantastic. [name removed] was an amazing person to speak to. Even though my family did not acquire a place to live with A Place For Mom right now, We know that they will be helpful if our situation changes. Thank you so much!

What I like the most about the community has just been the overall experience, the cleanliness and the staff. Yes I would recommend Brookdale Heritage Plaza to other families based on the experience so far.

Very nice facility. Well maintained & attentive to any requests that we have. Staff is very friendly & courteous. Activities keep everyone happy & healthy. Food is good with it leaning more towards very good most of the time. A great place for mom to call home.

My mom is very happy here. Wonderful people working here. I can leave and know she is being taken care and is safe. She has a great roommate who she loves. Everyone is always looking out for her well being .

We have lived at Brookdale University for over a year and are so grateful to be here. The residents are very friendly, the staff so attentive, lots of great outings and activities and good food!!

My Mama is now a resident of Adrian mi Brookdale assisted living environment and absolutely loves it. What a blessing to have such a supportive, loving, caring place for her to thrive in. She has been there for 2 months and told me she hopes to stay here for another 15 years.

They are very family focused and they keep us updated on everything! We would absolutely recommend this community to other families. Especially if they have a family member that may be more difficult to place like our dad. They have been so good to work with and trying avenues to help him.

What we think the community could improve on would be bathing the patients, sometimes I come and my moms face is not washed or her teeth not brushed

The staff here is very professional, kind, caring, friendly and helpful. The day I came over to tour the facility three of the staff were waiting to greet me. They made me feel like part of the Brookdale family from the very beginning. The residents have also been very friendly, warm and welcoming also.

I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly and caring the staff interact with the residents. It was relieving to see how they care for each resident pertaining to their individual needs and or wishes. They offer a wide range of acitivities that residents can take part in to their own desire. Even meals are prepared for individual needs. My father has been in Brookdale since July of this year and although any kind of change like this is especially hard for people with memory issues, Brookdale goes to great efforts to help their residents ease into the change of home. The manager and or head nurse reach out to me regularly just to check in or to answer any questions and give report of change. I spent many days there visiting my father and was overwhelmed with the warmheartedness with which the staff and management care for all of their resididents. I know my father is in good hands.
