Brookdale

I transferred my mom to Brookdale champions memory care location. My mom is fairly satisfied there. She likes the staff and facilities but doesn't like some of her fellow residents because "they are odd" -- she doesn't understand TBI or Alzheimer's behavior.

Great things to say about Solano Vintage Preserve: outstanding staff, amenities and facility. She had to move at the 9 mo mark because my mom developed moderate-severe dementia and was unable to live alone or perform ADLs without 24 hr assistance.

I would like to thank the staff at Brookdale lake Brazos they have went over and above for my Aunt to feel welcome she has been there a year and half now and she loves it. The new director is amazing and very kind, most of kitchen staff has been great . the activities director pushes my Aunt to get out and try new things both activities Ladies are fun and always have a smile when I see them.Maintence guys are great. Room is always clean if for some reason it needs attending we let staff know and they come. if there is a need for her they fix it, New Nurse is Nice . it's been a good thing for her she has always struggled with anxiety and depression. I am glad we made this choice for her .Would recommend to families when looking for a place.

We're very happy with Brookdale West Melbourne! We toured a lot of assisted living facilities before deciding on Brookdale West Melbourne. I left the decision up to my mom. She chose it because of the homey feel, she liked that it was a smaller community and the staff was very friendly and supportive.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this community. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed by the warm and compassionate staff. My family has such peace of mind knowing that our loved one is in a safe, supportive environment surrounded by people who treat them like family. We are so grateful we chose Brookdale Wake Forest-it has been the best decision!

One of the most difficult things I’ve ever done was putting my mom in memory care. I looked at a lot of places in Houston and found Solana to be the best of the places I researched and visited. It’s by far not the closest to my home but I liked what I saw here. I moved mom in 6 months ago and I have been very happy with Solana so far. Mom has been happy here as well. I was very impressed at the longevity of the management staff. The staff are caring and mom is very happy here. They take the memory care people out for lunch or coffee once a week. I have received calls from the Executive Director asking how I feel things are going and if I have any issues or concerns. They don’t force the residents to do the activities but encourage them to participate, especially if it is something they enjoy. My mom loves music and dancing so they work to get her involved in those activities. I can’t thank the card staff enough for what they do, it takes special people to do that job.

We have been living in Brookdale Oak Park for almost a month, and we are very happy that we made the decision to move here. The Marketing department couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating when we came for a tour, and then when we made the decision to move here. We made a couple of requests for our apartment, and those requests were readily agreed to. Moving in was easy, with the staff here making sure we had everything we needed. The food is very good – with a wide variety to choose from, which makes it easy for me because I have some dietary restrictions. Everyone on the staff, as well as the residents, have given us a very warm welcome, and helped us feel at home. We are happy here.

Very patient with me, Helps me if I need it. Very giving with positive suggestions.

So move in whole we have apartments, don't wait! I have lived her 13 years and wouldn't be anywhere else.

Manager is loving, compassionate and runs the best community. Nurse take great care of needs staff all love their jobs!

rooms could be vacuumed more often. I feel the activities need some improving as my Mom is often very bored. I'm overall VERY pleased! Yes I would recommend Brookdale! Absolutely!

From the first time we walked in almost a year ago the entire community has been friendly and care giving. Mom calls it home and does not want to leave. She has formed meaningful friendships.

My father had a fall and did not want to return home after a month at a hospital and a nursing rehab. I visited four facilities and Brookdale was the one that felt most like "home." The staff pulled out all the stops so that he could transfer directly from the rehab. I can tell he is doing much better in his new place. The staff love him and he has a good rapport with the nurses. I feel as though he is in the best place he could be.
