Admin leaders are very easy to get in touch with. They text back immediately and are available by phone. I have no doubt my mother is in great hands!

My mom and dad recently moved into Brookdale at Sandy Springs. They were not intending to move but life required the change. To say that my mom and dad are happy is an understatement. They have so many new friends, activities to choose from, wonderful food and an amazing staff to assist them on a daily basis. My sister and I are so thankful that they have found their new home and are happy. We have all been blessed in this transition and have found Brookdale at Sandy Springs to be a new extended family for all of us.

Mom is adjusting well to her new home. Good location. Close to family. Mom is very happy with her community so far. Would recommend facility to others.

This community is very home like! Makes you feel like you are at home in your own living room. The staff is extremely tenured and caring. You can feel the love all over the place. The grounds & building are stunning!

Recent concern that it feels there is a decrease in staffing which causes longer wait times, especially at meals. It is a beautiful facility and well maintained. The ability to access the outdoors is wonderful. The ability to make friends has been very special and important to the transition to a new home. Also, having her own quiet space allows for down time as needed. We are very pleased with how this new opportunity for someone who is 100+ has gone. Very accommodating and friendly people.

Staff here are very compassionate and caring. Several scheduled activities planned daily keep the residents active and promote socialization. Faculty and resident rooms are kept clean. The building is well maintained. An excellent place.

I recently visited my aunt at the community and she was happy with the food her apartment and the activities. She has made friends and enjoys socializing. She said the staff and nice and cater to her needs.

Look no further, Brookdale Tanglewood Oaks on Hulen in Fort Worth, Texas is not just a home away from home, it’s a Family Unit. I visit many facilities in and out of town. This particular facility encourages each resident to participate and not isolate. Do you recall the television show “Cheers”, the song says, “Sometimes you wanna go where everybody knows your name and they’re always glad you came”. Each visitor and resident is addressed personally by name with love, honor and respect. You can rest assure personal care, attentiveness to needs an atmosphere of home is what this family unit provides.

All 5's so far. Our loved one is in the memory care unit and there are no men which she really likes that. In the past we have had problems with men bothering our loved one in other facilities..

Friendly climate and good food. Great staff. Lots of activities.

Facility is well-kept; clean in all areas; landscaping is nice, and it is located in a good area of San Antonio, not in an industrial area. Staff are nice, caring people; very patient and they listen to concerns/feedback.

Dad is really happy! It was really nice to have all admin come to room and greet us. [name removed] made me at ease, felt like home was a great choice for dad. Nursing staff was very thorough and also put me at ease, answering all questions and getting his meds on track. Loved the fact for first few weeks staff guided him for meals and to room. The welcome sign and birthday on calendar/card was special and made dad feeling accepted. Dad's quote, "I really like the staff, they all seem to care about me." This is huge for us, as we had in home caregivers before moving him from WA to KS. I toured many making this decision, and the fact assisted living to memory care, the cleanliness, welcoming staff was great. I can not give enough kudos to [name removed] for understanding the emotional stress. Her compassion really put me at ease. 2 out of the other 4 siblings have been to visit and both said great choice to me.

I would say all of the categories are five. You can also get a discount if you ask for it. It's up to the resident how much they want to participate in the activities. There are several options everyday. The staff that I have spoken with are all very friendly and very helpful. My concern is keeping on top of the medications and any changes. I have asked that any changes go through me first before they are implemented. Overall I am happy with Brookdale. I would tell others just make sure you stay involved and advocate for your loved ones with whatever facility you choose.

Facility-Older and in need of an update (paint, etc). Staff- helpful and deep in experience in terms of years of service. Lots of floor plans and options on amenities.

My Mom is very happy at Brookdale Collin Oaks. Take the parent with you to the community appointment visits so they will feel some control of where they will live and if they like the staff, residents, community, their apartment and the activities. My Mom is finally happy because we did this

Awesome staff. The battle with bed bugs has been a deal. Not their fault, but it has taken a very long time and we are hopeful it is now under control. I would absolutely recommend Brookdale. Regardless, of this hiccup, which they are working on, we do believe the people and program are great.

Brookdale is an excellent facility, staffed by caring professionals and my Mother-in-law was very content there. She loved all the staff who interacted with her in any capacity. I would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone needing professional dementia care for a loved one. The facility is attractive and clean and the food is amazing! Highly recommend.
