Brookdale

The friendliness is a 5 although maybe some clique-iness of some residents. We just have medication reminders /safety checks and that is fine (soup and veggies always good...deli sandwiches are a little skimpy). love the activity staff but maybe some more varieties of activities,

Definitely a five. When we first started looking at Brookdale, we had heard different stories from different people. Some good some bad. Our experience has been all good so far. The experience was very positive. From the beginning tour to help bringing in [name removed] furniture and personal items, everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. His experience has been similar with the residence. The facility is light, bright, and clean. His studio looked like it had just been built. It looks so new. He is more than pleased at this point and in a text yesterday he said his apartment is starting to feel like home already. I couldn't have asked for more.

All he staff was very polite and friendly. [name removed] was extremely kind and flexible working with out schedule. The facility is clean and smelled nice. The resident seem happy, friendly and well attended to. Great Tour! Thank you! PS the new remodels look great!

Great mid-size facility for people looking for charm without the large facility atmosphere. There are a lot of activities to participate in if you choose. The facility is in a great location near shopping.

[name removed] was amazing and in addition to giving us a tour, she also introduced us to some residence so we could talk to them about their experience. We were also able to sample the food and saw how caring and attentive the staff was from topped to bottom.

I took a tour two weeks ago and wanted my wife to see Brookdale and see the model room. She was as impressed as I was on my first visit. Everyone is so nice and it’s always so clean. We came without an appointment on a Saturday and was greeted by the activity director who I believe was [name removed] who gave us a tour while he was working in the activity room. The food smelled very tasty. We hope it all works out for my wife’s Dad. Looks like a great place that feels like home.

Very friendly atmosphere and although i didn’t ultimately chose Brookdale, I would recommend to anyone who is considering for a community for their loved one to make sure and put Brookdale Ormond West on their list of communities to visit.

We had a trusted friend tour for us because family that are involved all live out of state. These are her observations. Everything was fresh and clean and the residents all seemed very happy. Noticed the residents and staff all greeting one another. Apartment was very nice with a lovely view. Hoping to get my almost 93 year old mother there with her two cats!

Mom loves the activities and the food. Everyone is so friendly. Thank you for taking care of my mom.

Great place. Wonderful care! So many options and it feels like our extended family! Very family friendly. Thank you for loving on our cousin and caring for all of us.

The coziness and comfort of Claire Bridge comes not just from the physical setting of safety, but most importantly from the incredible staff. They love the residents and it show in every large or tiny thing they do.

My father has enjoyed living here. I am very pleased with the homey atmosphere and caring, competent care. The staff go "above and beyond." The food is very good too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Staff member was wonderful! Facility was very nice. Room we saw was very nice. Services were posted in several places. Meal menu posted and flexible with several options.

The staff seems genuine and very friendly. They know my mom by first name. They are helpful and keep track of the residents. They seem to be fine. They offer studio, one bedroom and 2 bedroom. The size is fine for what is needed.

The staff member who gave me the tour was very pleasant and informative. She knew the residents we met and addressed them by name. The residents seemed friendly and pleasant. I liked the swimming pool and the patios. The apartments were nice and comfortable.

The director of sales and marketing was wonderful! She gave us so many helpful suggestions. She explained things thoroughly. We are a family of six girls, and she was so patient with each one of us and all our individual concerns and questions. She just wanted us to do what was best for our sister.

The place is immaculate and the staff was very friendly and helpful. There are many activities to participate in, I can't tell you about the food, because unfortunately I didn't have a meal there. It is a dog friendly place, they have a dog walker if you need it, there is transportation for you, there is a beauty parlor if you need it. The only negative for me was the one bedroom apartment is too small for my liking and there was no storage at all. The kitchenette was nice but again no storage.

It’s never easy to have to place a parent in care beyond the family but I truly feel the Independent Living at Brookdale would actually help my mom! There are people to converse with and activities and even fitness classes!
