Brookdale

Lots of great residents. Easy to find friends if that is what you are looking for. Very friendly staff and great food in the Bistro. I would recommend.

Everybody's really kind and helpful. Felt right at home from the beginning. He's low income so they really worked to find a way that he would be able to afford to be there.

My father passed away at Brookdale. Every member of that staff was kind, courteous, and caring. The compassion they all have is a direct result of [name removed] the director. While I was cleaning out dad's apartment many staff came to me with kind words and heartfelt condolences. They didn't have to do that, that wanted to and that cannot be taught that is leadership. His time a Brookdale was great and he met some good people his own age and I never worried for a minute about his care. 5 stars doesn't do this place justice, there just not enough stars for this place to call home!

When my mom fell and broke her hip my heart shattered. At 91 and living with my family at home to looking to relocate to an Assisted Living facility, my grief was palpable. [name removed] handled my mom’s needs with grace and kindness. She listened to me discuss how mom loves to look at the birds out the window at home and the bird feeder that mom had by the back patio. She helped me to select the perfect room for her looking out onto the beautiful courtyard where there are bird feeders so mom can watch the birds. The aides and nursing staff love my mom and help with her daily needs as she is getting stronger. These people are now new family members and they even love it when we bring our dog, name removed] ([name removed]) to see mom. They even save breakfast sausages for [name removed] when he come to see mom on the weekends!

Brookdale Lexington is a wonderful place. We moved my parents there when they became unable to live at home alone. The staff members are so caring and have been very helpful through many trials. The adminstration does all they can to make sure the care is extraordinary. I would recommend Brookdale Lexington to anyone looking for a great place for their family who cannot live alone.

Mom entered Brookdale in [date removed]. Almost immediately we noticed an improvement in her attitude, participation, getting her medications at the proper times, etc. All of the delicious food, three times a day is doing wonders. She loves her apartment; Brookdale is now her home. She has access to a hairdresser and manicure at Brookdale. Occasionally there are outings for Lunch, a Scenic Drive or shopping. The staff at Brookdale are Professional and extremely helpful with any questions or concerns that I may arise. The Nursing Staff, along with their Consulting Dr and visiting Nurse are top notch. I am so glad that we found Brookdale in Port Orange. I recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for Assisted Living near Port Orange, Fl. My only regret is that we had not investigated Assisted Living a few years earlier.

This facility is absolutely amazing. The love and care my loved one received here was impeccable. The staff here works as a team, absolutely seamless. Everyone is in harmony with each other, it's unbelievable. Everyone is out ther willing to step in and help not matter what is going on. bravo everyone. I could not have selected a better place. The residence are loving too. The day my Mom arrived she was in a wheel chair. There was an activity going on. When my Mom entered the room, she was surrounded by a few residence and the staff to welcome her. They all introduced themselfs, My mom smiled. I was so happy for my mom, she found her place. There is no better place.

The director of the facility was especially helpful. When it came to dealing with a difficult family member. My loved one was only there for a short time but I would recommend them to others who are looking for a place for their loved one.

This community is very welcoming and has a great staff nice facility as well. I would definitely recommend to others and would also like to add that your staff is like family always willing to accommodate

I would give them a 5 across the board. I have been very pleased. It's very well maintained. There is never any odor anywhere. Most of the staff has been there for a very long time, which means a lot. Nightmare stories about other places. People and policies keep changing in some of these other facilities, which is very difficult for the patient and the family. I looked at several facilities before choosing Brookdale Monroe. My husband has been there almost a year and we have no regrets about our decision. From the first day everyone has made my husband and Me feel welcome and at home.

My mom is doing very well at Brookdale. The staff is very kind, compassionate and provides excellent care. Brookdale is very clean and comfortable. They provide many activities to keep the residents engaged and socially active. The meals are well balanced and they consider the residents nutritional needs. Overall, Brookdale is very supportive and provides a safe environment that feels like home.

I must say that overall, this is a beautiful place and that I am so happy to see my mother happy every day. The cleanliness of the facility is top-notch and 2nd to none. for the most part the staff seems to be very happy and committed to their residents. Over the last two months, the quality of the food has fallen off dramatically and that makes me a bit sad. I really wanted to make this a fully 100% positive overview and or rating of Brookdale in Port Charlotte, Florida, but I just could not help but mention that one concern. I would recommend this place to anyone and when it comes to my mother, I am extremely hard to please. I took care of her in my home for over 10 years and it was hard to make make this change. My wife and I and my mother are happy with the end result.

The staff is very engaging and good at keeping me updated on anything my dad needs and how he's doing. The food is pretty good too. And all of the care taking staff are very compassionate and helpful towards the residents.

I recommend Brookdale Asheville Walden Ridge for anyone whose loved one has dementia.

The staff and administration! I feel they go over and beyond to help you with any issue! We would most definitely recommend this community to other families!
