Brookdale

Excellent service, friendly and attentive. So far I am very pleased with everything.

Everyone has been thoughtful and supportive from all departments including admin, management, facilities, dining, etc. I would recommend this community to others.

They are very attentive to any needs, the food has been good. My mom likes the flexibility that she can eat anytime of day 7 AM to 7 PM. It's very clean and her apartment has a beautiful balcony that she enjoys tremendously with her plants. [name removed] initially helped us and was great at making my mom feel at home.

Brookdale Spruce Woods is a great place. The staff are very friendly and caring . My mom was only there for 2 weeks. I had only 2 complaints 1. the food wasn't that great. 2. The level of care they could provide wasn't clear. I was hoping my mom would be able to have end of life care there even if it meant hiring outside help for her. In spite of it all, being able to get an assisted living one bedroom apartment was the only way my mother would leave her one bedroom apartment independent living. On another note Langdon Place in Dover NH where she went for rehab was really awful. Where mom finally ended up was Watson Fields which was fabulous and where she was able to go from assisted living to end of life care. I'm VERY thankful for them.

Brookside is filled with amazing, caring and helpful people. Hands down a great facility! I got my mom a double room which was like a small apartment. The regular rooms are small (like other places) but doable. The food was amazing! I ate with my mom often and couldn't believe how tasty the meals were. Many choices and they were extremely accommodating.

My mom is in the memory care unit and has been at Brookdale a little over 3 years. We wouldn't want to have her anywhere else. The staff is awesome and takes care of mom when we can't. We go almost everyday and she is clean and her room is clean. Having someone with dementia is hard but it helps to know she is in a caring environment when we aren't there. The memory care staff is awesome!! The food is awesome mom cleans her plate everyday!!

Good food, love our apartment. We can see the whole front range.

What we like the most about the community is the activities that are provided for the residents.

I currently reside at Brookdale Pecan Park. We are a Pecan Park family guided by Brookdale and living life in complete harmony. All the staff is working hard while the residents “toot” their horns to a joyful parade of life. So if you want to come and join people having fun, search out Brookdale Pecan Park!

The director and receptionist were my initial interactions and were both friendly and helpful. As I was walking in, some residents were being loaded into the bus and I saw the staff treat them with care and respect. I also liked that they were taking them on an outing. The director patiently answered all my questions and gave me a full tour of the facility. I was pleasantly surprised that they had an inner courtyard that I thought was very inviting. The studio room seemed a bit small to me and the prices seemed very high is the only negative I can say from this tour. This place definitely gave me some things to think about.

It was close to family and I liked the staff who worked there. I also appreciated how long the staff has worked together. It's been an excellent move for my mother. She rarely answers her phone because she is participating in most of the activities Brookdale offers. Mom is involved, safe and happy

I checked about 5 or 6 facilities until I had it narrowed down to just a couple. I took mom with me to have lunch with the 3 possibilities. Mom and I both had to have a second look at Brookdale, which we chose. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff were friendly, knew everyone’s name and treated them like their own family. I knew all the staff, they also became my family. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone that loves their family member or is looking for a long term assistant living facility because there is none better.

5 for all 8. What I like the most about the community are the residents, the food and the overall atmosphere. Yes, I would recommend Brookdale Mt. Lebanon community to other families based on the experience so far.

The lady made me feel comfortable and was a nice in answering all my question I was impressed with her. Her name was misty.

Questions 1-8 all would be a 5. Brookdale staff are truly the best and I can't say enough good things about them. They become like family and really care about the people staying there. I think because it's a smaller facility and many of the staff have worked there for a long time. That's a good sign of a good working environment.

Now that my sister's dementia has continued to gradually worsen, she needs assisted living. Brookdale is just 2 miles from my brother and his wife and when he had positive things to say about it, I learned how to use Zoom so that my sister could have a virtual tour and be assessed for admission. [removed name] and [removed name] were so prompt with their emails in getting the Zoom set up and what was required for the assessment! That gave me a lot of confidence in Brookdale before seeing it. The Zoom Call proceeded and there was lovely [removed name] with the kindness and patience any family member could want. She could walk (literally) and answer dozens of questions at the same time. Even though the weather was gloomy in Murray that day, the call felt sunny. [removed name] explained how assistance worked and made sure I knew the various options so that my brother and I can get the best arrangements for our sister. Best of all, my sister is looking forward to moving into Brookdale later next month!

Brookdale has provided exceptional care since my father‘s arrival. Staff members have been consistently friendly, and attentive from the moment he moved in. Despite his several health issues, we have seen significant improvements in his condition. During my visits, I observe staff greeting residents by name which suggest a positive and engaged working environment. My father has also expressed his genuine happiness with living at Brookdale.

Brookdale is the best place for loved ones. Caring staff, lots of activities for every level of care. The staff took time to interview and explain all activities and meeting the needs of each individual person

It was great to see and compare to others I have visited. Not going to be the right fit for my mother. We will need to keep looking for other locations. Would like to find something closer to home.
