Brookdale

I chose Brookdale Southfield because when coming here for a tour, I got the sense and feeling of home.

Much of the leadership at MB left this spring. I have had no contact with the new ED. The new nurse is pleasant and helpful. Day to day caregivers are great. Typical of entry level staff they do turn over fairly regularly. But there is a strong base. They are caring and attentive.

He likes it and his attitude shows it. Food is good. Happy hour again. Room clean. Cost is right for services and we would recommend Brookdale Canyon Lakes to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

What we like the most about Brookdale Corpus Christ is just the fact that there is always concierge/receptionist no matter what time of the day as well as the meals for the value that family can come and eat with residents.

My dad moved to Brookdale 119 in the Independent Living almost a year ago and it was the best move we made for him! He is so happy here and has made lots of friends, his own age. He is a social guy so doesn't spend much time in his apartment. He loves going to meals with friends, playing pool, playing BINGO and playing poker. The staff and residents are very welcoming and helpful. His apartment is clean and inviting. I would recommend Brookdale to others who might be looking for a living experience without all of the home upkeep.

We were very happy with the experience at Brookdale of Beavercreek. It is a smaller community which helps the staff more personal and helpful. They took excellent care of our beloved Uncle [name removed] . Unfortunately, he passed away on[date removed]. We would never have found Brookdale without the help of "A Place for Mom." We appreciate the help in finding the facility.

The staff and facility are always on top of things! My mom loves jewelry and they always have her decked out . Everyone knows my mom's name and they have a cheerful greeting for her. She's always clean and well kept and I feel confident that she's in good hands when I'm not there.

We had to madly search around for a place and contacted [name removed] here at Brookdale. Immediately we knew this was the place for mom to go. she helped us in many ways and made sure we were doing the right thing her. As soon as we walked in - everyone was to happy and talkative and it really felt like a home place. our mother has greatly improved since being there! and we don't have to worry about anything. everyone is so supportive, the staff and the residents!! totally the right decision for us. and it's on the smaller side which we appreciate.

What we like the most about Brookdale Skyline is The staff and the location. We also would recommend them to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Since relocating my advanced Alzheimer's mom to this facility from another one, she has received excellent care. The caregivers seem to truly care about the residents. Any problems are immediately resolved!

While no facility is perfect, I am very satisfied with the care my husband receives. Staff is very caring and does their best to create a safe and happy environment. I give the food "two thumbs up" I recommend Brookdale Tanque Verde.

Friendly, kinda and supportive staff. Helpful to my mother’s concerns and always doing their best to make her comfortable. They do their best to accommodate all her needs. They have many activities to keep her busy. She feels safe and cared for. The staff is wonderful. They always return our calls.

I toured another facility in town it didn't come close to what I found at Brookdale. That facility was so cold and baron when I entered. Look like a hotel lobby instead of a living facility. I meet 3 employee and saw one resident in the common area. Brookdale is so warm inviting and welcoming. Constant flow of people in common areas. Lots of activities and the staff has been beyond reproach. Looking forward to this move.

The three top people are AMAZING! Everyone has been friendly and quick to help. It truly has been the best thing for my mother-in-law.

The staff has been extremely helpful and friendly and whenever my dad said any kind of medical anything they have a doctor looking at him or they're setting appointments for him and he has like a PA come in once a week, he loves the care there and I am such a Level of knowing that my dad's been taken care of.

The Staff is incredible, listens to my family wishes for our mother, and respond quickly. the staff is very empathic with not just my mom, but also with the other residents. it was the best decision for my mother and our family to place her at Brookdale.

Exceptional care and service. The staff goes over and beyond to not only care for your parent but they truly care about your well being also. Five Stars straight across the board!! If your mom or dad needs a secured neighborhood, I highly recommend Dave and his staff. They will make sure your loved is taken care of.

The staff treats every resident like they are family with dignity and respect! It is definitely a family centered atmosphere!! There are activities for the residents to participate in. My mom is happy here and that means the world to me. I am so happy she is safe and loved here!

Good, clean and decent size rooms with a big bathroom. Also provide cable, laundry and the meals. Three, three course meals. The staff is great and can accomodate most all requests. My dad is doing very well since he's been here. I am very happy with [name removed] and Brookdale.

The staff provided many activities for my wife where other places did not. She made several friends during her short time at Brookdale. I can’t thank the staff enough for the care my wife received. She was treated well, I’m not sure if it was because I visited my wife every other day and sometimes everyday. However there were some residences that had no visitors and I did notice that there were times I saw residents needs go unanswered, and several times to a point where several persons soiled themselves and the furniture that sat on. And other times I saw the aides put residents in a chair in front of a tv and just put on game shows versus movies or TV shows. The activities folks were exceptional. They always had things for the residents to do. The food they were given was good most of the time but bland. Snacks were also available daily for the residents. This was a good treat the residents looked forward to. Overall it was one of the better places I’ve seen
