Brookdale

Expect to pay a non-refundable resident fee of $[removed]. The handi-cap parking is abused by residents who don't have placards. Room cleaning service was good. Halls weren't kept as clean and always some ceiling or wall repairs onging.

All the people are nice and friendly. Food is good considering my lack of appetite. Activities are fun.

The people are very friendly always something to do. The community in pleasant and very clean.

On all 8 items I would have to give top scores. 5 across the board. I found all the folks at Brookdale to be friendly and helpful, and the health care staff were awesome. My only concern was that they should have been in more of an acute care facility. Their needs were more than the average memory care patient and while I couldn't see it then, I do now. Perhaps the intake process could be updated to see "deeper" into the patients needs. I don't think the give classes in prognostication.... but perhaps a medical person could be a part of that. The staff were great. They were very attentive to their patients. Personal hygiene was a bit "off" with the residents. On a few visits the urine smell was very strong on the unit. That would be my only issue. I would like others to know that the facility works really well with Visiting Angels and Hospice.

Facility is very clean, more attention could be given to patient rooms but clean overall. [name removed] is amazing and really goes the extra mile to meet the needs of my Mr. [name removed] does a great job or keeping residence engaged. He interacts with individuals and groups.

It is local and could take both parents in at the same time. I'd say Brookdale Reidsville has been wonderful with both of my parents. They care for them and care about them. Mom and Dad have been happy there.

I am so pleased with the care my dad receives at Brookdale. It feels like family. The staff go above and beyond to make sure my dad us well cared for.

The staff is totally incredible and the community has a family mindset. Everyone works together as a team in assisting clients with laughter and LOVE. It feels like home.

The staff loved what they do and are good at it. It's a small community where residents are able to care for themselves and have the back up of staff to help orchestrate things they can't. Staff is big on 'meet them where they are', and are usually more patient with residents than I am with Mom.

San Antonio Brookdale hamilton is a fine facility for those of us who are getting up in years and need the association with others who are your age or more than your age, the fitting is good for the community we live in. I came in under a different executive director now we have [name removed] and she is wonderful. She really exhibits those characteristics that let us know she cares she's always available and makes rounds during eating times to let us know she's available and with us 100%

I love the residents at Brookdale Oak Park. I love the continual elevation of the food. I like the new Executive Chief. I was in a different community previously and the quality of the food at Brookdale Oak Park is much higher!

Staff is very friendly and always helpful. As far as the food goes, they need to offer bigger portions. Less gravy. More variety.

I was impressed by the communication and required follow up. There was a hiccup with my mother in law being released as expected. They held the room for her. There was a personnel change and I appreciated there was no affect to us. The facility is well maintained both inside and out. The outside grounds were well groomed. Regardless of their position from care providers to management always had a smile on their face. They made an effort to greet people by their names. My mother in law was well taken care of. They conducted an additional assessment of her needs after 2 weeks. She had improved so her care plan was reevaluated/recalculated resulting in a reduction of her monthly bill. I found the meals to be ok, however it was the only thing my mother in law complained about. They were great at providing daily activities and outings in the community. Options presented to us from the hospital, board and care as well as assisted living, Brookdale was the least expensive

After search for other facilities, we found that Brookdale Sleepy Hollow was the right choice for my sister and fell in Love with the care, staff, and how well it is ran. My sister loves it where she is and very happy.

My husband passed away in February. The care at Brookdale was excellent! Constant attention was great! I would absolutely recommend Brookdale Mirage Inn to anybody looking for care for a loved one!
