Brookdale

Facility is clean, bright and welcoming. It is adequately staffed. The staff are friendly, kind and caring. They are very responsive to any issues or concerns. Good variety of activities. Plenty of food and snacks. Overall very happy with Union Park.

As recommended by A Place for Mom, we scheduled a tour. We took the checklist with us. 1 Clean smell 2 Residents well groomed and engaging in numerous activities 3 Caregivers assisting where needed 4 Staff friendly and engaging 5 Landscape and facilities well maintained 6 Transportation provided for errands, outings, and appointments 7 Nutritious and appealing meals 8 Staff doctor, nurses, medication management, and next door to a major hospital 9 Good housekeeping, bathing routines, beauty salon, and spa 10 Calm and inviting environment 11 Physical therapy 12 Focus on emotional and spiritual well-being. The directors of medical and sales asked to visit mom in rehab to evaluate whether they could accommodate her needs. They have a lab onsite so mom doesn’t have to go to the doctor for routine bloodwork. The community of residents has embraced mom. She has made genuine friends and feels secure. She has told us that she really likes it there.

From the moment I drove onto the grounds of Brookdale I was in love! The buildings are impressive and classic, the pond, the trees, everything is just gorgeous and inviting. Walking in the door I was just blown away with the architecture and furnishing, even had fireplaces. The dining area is beautiful, everything is classy, tableclothes, table settings, right down to the menu and servers. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The apartments are very nice and and roomy. There is nothing about Brookdale that we are not happy with. The grounds have a mile long sidewalk through trees and gardens, the pond has benches and a cute little bridge. All just inviting you to take a walk. I moved my sister there from another community and she also fell in love at first sight. She is doing much better, her health has improved, blood pressure down, losing a few pounds, participating in some of the many activities they offer and just much happier than she was at the other place. Highly recommend.

Being in a one wing 12 room section is so much better. You and your love one get to know the staff. I like individual heat and air controls. Small dinning room with good service.some activities and patients urged not to sit in their rooms. I feel my husband is safe and comfortable.

My mother is a resident of Brookdale Cape Coral. Everyone on staff has been amazingly friendly, kind and caring, and fully dedicated to helping her adjust and feel comfortable in her new home. This facility is well managed, secure and always spotlessly clean. The common areas are comfortable and encourage residents to engage and socialize with each other. There are also regularly scheduled fun activities such as exercise and crafting classes, and field trips. Our experience has been that everyone at Brookdale Cape Coral is helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that the residents have everything they need for a comfortable and fulfilling life.

We moved Dad into Brookdale Assisted Living a couple months ago. Dad has some short term memory loss but otherwise is in good health. We lost Mom in 2020 and since then Dad has been lonely and wasn’t taking good care of his health or his home. He was scammed three times that we know of and lost most of his life savings. He had a stroke which was a wake up call to us kids that Dad needed to be somewhere that would provide a safe environment. We had talked about it a lot the past few years but he didn’t want to lose his independence. He visited Brookdale, met the staff and enjoyed lunch with some residents. They invited him to social events before he moved in which made him feel welcome and valued. He loves his suite, he loves his neighbors, he loves the variety of activities and he really loves the food. He made the decision to give up his car after a few weeks and hasn’t missed it. We kids are so relieved that Dad is happy and safe.

Brookdale tequesta has gone above and beyond all our expectations. They are without a doubt the best place for your loved one of you want quality care. All the staff play an Intricate part of making sure that your loved one is comfortable, safe and given that feeling of being loved. They in close contact with family members letting us rest assured they are in good hands. The facility is very secure and it is so good to know that your loved one just can't get out to go walking around lost. Is a clean and makes one feel like they are at home not some nursing home. I can't say enough about the facility and all it's awesome staff.

We couldn’t be happier with Brookdale. The staff is friendly and very helpful. I am meeting several of the residents and enjoying having meals with them. It is nice that the staff call and check on the residents each day.

We weren’t sure at first what to expect, but they have gone above and beyond. If we had a concern, they were right there to help. We really appreciate the dining room as she doesn’t have to shop, cook, or cleanup. They do laundry and light housekeeping which is all she needs. Mom loves it there. At 96, it keeps her busy!

Looked at a few looking for our 98-year-old mother who need a little extra help [name removed] held us thru the process couldn’t of been happier with our decision it just seems like home! She has been there 1 month and is fitting inn

What we like the most about Brookdale East Tucson is how kind everyone was to the whole family. Based on the experience we have had, we would definitely recommend this community to other families.

The executives and all staff that are a part of the Brookdale Senior Living are treating each residents as their own parent. The executives come through each meal and communicate of each table to make each of us feel as if living here was our childhood place of residence or home.

My grandmother has been living here for a few years now, and our family couldn’t be happier with her experience. The building itself is always clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and comfortable environment. The staff truly makes this place special – they are warm, caring, and make sure the residents feel truly at home. They genuinely take the time to get to know each resident and make sure their needs are met with kindness. Grandma is thriving here, and it’s such a relief to know she’s in such good hands. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive, caring place for their loved one!

I like that I can still be independent and have my own apartment. The staff here sure does take great care of me! Everyone is so nice and I can do activities when I feel up to it. Overall, I am very happy and comfortable here.

I had no complaints. I thought the facility and staff was excellent. They were very accommodating and they always contact me if their was an issue with my mom. I could visit any time. I highly recommend them and i have.

The main reason I chose Brookdale Farmington Hills was because of the porch. Everyone is great here, residents and staff. I think they could improve on the food by adding more and run by start only.

I'd give them a 5+ the staff is friendly and people are very helpful and the place is very clean up kept and they have the best maintenance I have ever seen. I broke my pelvis when I came home from the hospital of course I could not drive anymore so the staff would take and buy what I needed and bring it to me and I would pay them for it. I also know that I am driving. Need help getting my walker into the car so they come out put my walker in the car and when I come home, I call and they come out and take it out for me and set it Up, there are many other little things that they do that is very very helpful. I cannot say I enough about the staff here at Heritage house Gates. The residents are so very friendly too.

Less staff turnover and a great home feel. We have been super pleased for over 2 years. I would choose this for my mom every time.

My parents were in the Alzheimer's Ward and it was a great place for them. The staff was very friendly and I felt like I was at home. Kind of a down to earth feeling.

Residents are more "mobile" seniors even with walkers/wheelchairs. Housekeeping and maintenance, and administration do an amazing job with a smile and hello for everyone.
