Our mom came to Brookdale Potomac three years ago. We have had a very positive experience. The staff have been attentive to MOM‘s needs and responsive to our requests to keep her safe and happy. Because the facility takes such good care of all areas, it allows the residents to focus on COMMUNITY. My MIL has such an active group of friends there, and she hasn't even been there a year. We could not ask for a better place. If you can afford it and want a slightly more active life than just watching TV, this is the place!!

The staff are very friendly and the activities are excellent. I don't have any way to assess the value for cost. I think it's ok but I don't know what other places charge or how to compare cost/value. We definitely would recommend. I can't overstate how much the activities director and her staff contribute to my satisfaction. They are truly an excellent team, actively soliciting residents' participation.

[name removed] the Executive Director is very responsive to any issues or concerns I have about Moms care. She addresses them right away. Some of the caregivers go above and beyond - I wish I knew all their names! [name removed] stands out in my mind - always with a smile on her face and ready to help! Ways to improve on the cleanliness and the food- Clean the resident bathrooms more thoroughly and get better quality food. That being said, their Thanksgiving Day meal was delicious!

I'm still getting adjusted to a new routine, but I'm happy here.

My Dad loved it at Brookdale but he now needs full time care at 98. The staff was very accommodating and we know he'll miss it terribly. Unfortunately after a bad fall we are forced to put him in a nursing home.

The admin staff here is wonderful and the facility is awesome. Activities are organized and fun. Ways to improve on the food: Add flavor. Deliver hot/warm food to rooms and be as ordered. All too often the kitchen runs out of food that goes to the room which is a direct reflection of the lack of ordering experience. The head of dining does not follow up on issues.

Overall I like living here. But my only problem is the staffing in the dining room and sometime breakfast is cold.

EVERYONE fIn the front offices from Executive, Director to the people who feed us and take care of our medical and personal needs,,demonstrates their love for each of us. It’s a great place to receive physical therapy. Brookdale Oranger Park is a great place to live.

Whenever there is any issue at all, all staff members do their absolute best to make things right. Everyone is caring and compassionate. Mom feels comfortable with the staff, and is starting to feel more comfortable with the situation.

Staff work as team with passion for seniors. staff is experienced and many staff members have been working for over 10 years. Community is located centrally and can be reached easily. community has excellent dining program, activities and customer service.

It is like living in a hotel! I cannot imagine another senior facility being more accommodating than Brookdale! I loved living there!

My mother moved in a few months ago and we have since seen such beautiful changes in her. When we toured we explained mom wasn’t the most social and would likely want to be up in her room often, we just wanted her to be in a safe place. To our surprise, we can hardly get in touch with her when we call now! At first this made me nervous and led to panicked calls to the staff thinking the worst but mom is now a social butterfly. She’s out to lunch, she’s painting. The latest yesterday takes the cake - she’s at French Club. This has been such a remarkable weight lifted off our family’s shoulders. Thank you

This is a beautiful community with very helpful people. Although I don’t eat there often, when I have the food has been very good. All the people I’ve met there have been quite respectful and residents seem quite friendly and happy. We toured about a dozen other communities before deciding on Brookdale.

Excellent facility and helpful staff.

I never thought I'd see the day where my 97 year old Grandma would leave her home of a 70 years. But the warm staff and nice facilities at Brookdale so quickly have become her new home.

The office staff is wonderful. The floor staff (the activities director is wonderful with all of the residents.) The aides are very helpful and caring and the nurses on the floor top notch. The nurses and physicians in the office are always ready to answer questions and make suggestions for a great transition to the facility. The kitchen staff is very attentive to the nutrition needs of each resident. The residents seem to like the food and if there is something is on the menu that they don’t like they are given additional options to try. I am happy with the total care.

Memory care unit is like home- cozy but also with plenty of space for family to visit. I’ve visited during activities and see how well the staff work to include residents and keep them engaged. The RN and other staff call regularly to keep me informed or ask questions. I think my mom has a much fuller life here than when she was anxious and on her own.
