Brookdale

We enjoyed our stay at Brookdale Oro Valley! Unfortunately, due to an altercation, I had to relocate my spouse to another facility! However, The Administrative Staff was outstanding! Executive Director [name removed], and her Staff was very professional & courteous! We were very sad to have to leave Brookdale!

Our loved one does not participate in the activities and the overall value for cost is pricey. However, what we like the most about Brookdale Rome: 1. Close Proximity to where we live making it easier for us to supplement and address her needs. 2. Her Spacious two bedroom apartment. 3. The attentiveness of the staff when she has a need. 4. Her complaint that less than 25% of the food is edible, must be weighed with the fact that nobody cooks like she used to. As I have mentioned, I frequently test the food that she claims is inedible and have found 90% of those meals, very acceptable and delicious. 5. It should be noted that not only at Brookdale, but the five other facilities I reviewed prior to selecting Brookdale, had most of the residents I talked to complained about the quality of food. With so many Uber eats, etc., we just supplement her meals with any of 20 different restaurants that deliver right to her door.

Toured for grandmother. Not ready to make a decision but would definitely put this community up top. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. When she is ready we will have her come meet some of the great people.

Great looking community. Very will kept and the residents all seemed to be very happy! The environment is inviting and the staff are all very friendly. When a decision is ready to be made, Robinwood will be top choice!

I would rate 5 to all with the caveat that I have not tried the food. They hold support group for families once a month. Residents do not attend. Activities director [name removed] is fantastic! We like that the whole place is memory care so it is open & sunny, not just a sad memory care wing attached to an assisted living facility.

[name removed]was extremely patient, understanding our needs and is a very good listener. She had answers or suggestions for all my questions.

The facility is very clean and very well maintained. It is fully renovated on the inside. I never thought about going to look at that Brookdale because the outside of the building looks Los and I just figured the inside would match that. It most certainly does not! It is very nice and modern inside. The staff is the absolute best. They all know my mom very well and treat her like family. She is so happy there. She always tells me "I just love it here" which makes me sooo happy

Our situation has gone from stressful to restful thanks to Brookdale. My mom and stepdad had reached a point that staying in their own home became too much for them. He has ALS and she is older than him. The house was too much for her to take care of while caring for him. After visiting several places, they decided that Brookdale Galleria was the place to go. They choose the independent living side of the community. The staff are always there to help in any way that they can. Mom has had a few issues in the room of her own making and when they reached out to staff, they came and helped. An example of that was she was about to wash some dishes, and her husband needed her real quick. She didn't turn the water off and by the time she got back the room was flooded. She called down and asked for some help and they came up really quick with a shop vac and vacuumed up all the water and mopped the floor for her. They enjoy going to the restaurant style eating room and having lunch and dinner. They have met many people there and have lots of different dinner partners. The food is good and the staff is attentive. There is valet parking for free for everyone, which comes in handy every time I visit. I would recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a nice friendly place for their parents.

My Mom was having a lot of falls in her own home. My brother witnessed it too. He made all the arrangements to get her into a great assisted living. He made the right choice for sure, When he chose Brookdale Edys Pond in Auburn MA. She's eating better now and she likes to participate in all the activities they have. She is always keeping busy and has made a lot of new friends. And she has a lot of company from family and friends. And the staff is very good to her. So happy that my brother and I don't have to worry if she has a fall or gets an illness. It's taken care of right away. Best assisted living care for our loving Mom

Facilities and staff are very welcoming at Brookdale Orange Park.

My mom has never had better more conscientious care than at Brookdale East. She is well cared for, never left in wet clothes, and is always helped into bed at night instead of left to sleep in her recliner. The staff seems to enjoy their job and they truly do care about the residents. I'm thankful God led us to this place as it is truly been a blessing for my mom.

Brookdale North Augusta has welcomed my dad and treated him so kindly as he settled at his new home. The staff continue to look out for him, he loves the routine, and activities at Brookdale. He enjoys the food and the other residents. It is a relief to me as a working adult daughter to know he is well taken care of while I work. I also love visiting the staff and the family activities they have!! So thankful-

The food is very good. The 1 bedroom 1.5 bath with a balcony layout is great for 2 people. Ambiance of Building is great. Lobby beautiful. Space for washer and dryer in apartment

We are very pleased with Brookdale! Nice folks, caring staff and great food!

It's a small facility with only 6 rooms so the residents get personalized care. The owner, [name removed], is very communicative and is great at her job. Very experienced. Most of the residents there are long term. There's not a lot of turnover. And there's not a rotating multitude of dozens of nurses. So they get to really know the residents. Most of the people there are in wheelchairs so it's kind of hard for them to do things. But I know all of the residents there just from visiting my father and they're all really happy.

They genuinely care. It is an older building but the staff are wonderful. The other people that live there are great and say they are happy living there The apartment size is perfect for my parents. Nice little outdoor space they can customize. They are right off the dining room Weekly housekeeping and call buttons for them both to wear.

Overall experience was good. The facility was clean and the staff was friendly and caring. Administrators were helpful. They offered a nice variety of activities but my mom couldn't participate. The food was good. Only one time was there a dinner no one liked. While still very expensive I feel the cost was close to all other assisted living communities.

What we like the most about the community is the friendly staff. Yes, we would recommend Brookdale North Raleigh to other families based on the experience so far.

Brookdale Champions is a loving and unique facility. We found it when looking for a place for my mom and my sister over a decade ago, and God led me to the right place. We had researched and visited over a dozen places, but when I walked in the front door, I actually felt that this was going to be their home. Staff and residents are like one big family. A number of the caregivers have been there since before we came. The facility is always clean, and the staff goes above and beyond in every way to support residents and their families. The nursing staff has been stellar and works with me as one team. The activity coordinators always have a variety of fun and interesting options to consider each day. I truly love the people who work there and so many of the sweet residents. This place is a gem! And did I mention, the food is great!

I think Brookdale in McPherson is a great location. The food is great and they serve people plenty. Also the room sizes are nice.
