think they are shorthanded right now which makes it difficult, however we would recommend this community to other families.

Anytime there's been an issue, they've been happy to try to address it immediately. And over I think they do actually a really good job. Plus he tried to have a lot of activities that benefit both the residents and the family members.

The activities was the very best part of the facility The social directors are incredible! Loved the activities and I would recommend Somerby community to other families based on the experience we have had.

Onboarding was a terrible experience but if you can hunt how the info you need, it's a great place. Room sizes and amenities offered are amazing. Feels homey and not like a "facility". Definitely very comfortable and beautiful. I would live there! Amenities and activities remind me of a cruise ship.

I searched many facilities. This one has a warm feeling and happy people! The apartment layout - more square than a long, narrow room, and carpet are nice features. The staff is friendly and the directors are willing to talk at any time. There has been some employee turnover. I believe it's a betterment. The servers in the dining room have good days and bad. The food is decent. Activities are a little bit light. Don't know if that changes with the seasons. For long term, I was pleased to know residents don't necessarily have to move to the memory care unit. They can stay where they are as long as they don't wander.

Overall it was a very good experience for our family. One of the things that we appreciated the most was the way the staff respected my aunt and the other residents. The few little issues we had we resolved pretty quickly. My aunt's biggest complaint was the food (isn't it always the food?!) but the few meals I had were bland but fine. The staff knew who my aunt's family even before we introduced ourselves to most of them

It is an older facility, but they are making gradual upgrades; as not to bother the residents. They make up for that in the way the staff treats the residents. They all seem To know everyone’s name and they get to know their likes/dislikes/quirks, whatever. We picked this community because it was smaller and more “family like” to us. My mother is a big cook and hasn’t complained in the few months she’s been there that she can’t cook (unbelievable). Thank goodness they do have some baking activities sometimes. She comments how much she enjoys the food and variety. I’ve eaten there a few times, and it was good! Some miscommunications at times, but that was when we first got her settled in and she has aphasia, which makes communication a little tough some days.

My father is been in the hospital. And now things are changing with him, and we're working with the staff there to try and make sure he's okay, and that's about it, they, they're very thoughtful right now

I would recommend. Overall I am happy with the Grande. They are not good at returning calls. I don't live in the state so I can't be there as often as I would like so I count on doing a lot by phone and it can be hard to reach the right person and get return calls. Additionally my dad needs a lot of assistance and had hoped staff would be a little more available for the extra assistance, especially given the cost.

My husband has Vascular Dementia & this is the 3rd facility he has lived in. So far this place is easy to deal with. The staff work hard to make sure people are safe and needs are met. It is not a “fancy” facility but they are trying to take care of family members that we simply can’t do on our own.

Nursing care has been very inconsistent. Anyone who needs a lot of care, I do not recommend no matter how much they say they can meet their needs My mother is now independent enough to wait for what she needs, but when she had more needs, it was very fair care. The personal care attendants rotate often and very few are CNA's or Personal care attendants. Most help is limited to personal care help. Even when you are scheduled to just have bed made, you may wait until 4pm. I feel like no one is holding personal care helpers accountable. This has been my only complaint. As long as someone can be an advocate for care, and they need minimal assistance, this place will be a safe place to stay

When it comes to the meals and dining we understand dining has reduced, and cost of supplies. We would prefer slightly less quality and no price adjustment They schedule group activities during 2nd meal setting. Our loved one has recommended Bridges of Bent Creek to others and the person moved in

My mother was moved to The Grande from an Illinois memory care facility because she required care not available in Illinois. Sadly she was only there 2 months before passing. But in that time we were pleased with the care provided. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. My only concern was that all the employees we encountered seemed to be temp employees or newly hired. There was no continuity with mom's daily caregivers. But I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this facility to care for your loved one.

When it comes to the care services, our loved one needs very little at this point. For the meals and dining they are having staffing difficulties but the activities on the other hand are improving. We would recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Somerby compared to the previous facility my wife was in, was like moving her from the Econo Lodge to the Marriot! Somerby of Mount Pleasant is so much more professionally operated on a daily basis and much, much cleaner!

The facility has changed management companies. There are great activities and excursions. I wish they would stop raising prices. Overall we are very happy with Washington Prince.

They were very supportive and caring not only for my mother but also our family as we dealt with her failing health. Based on the experience we had with The Grande at Laumeier Park, we would recommend this community to other families.

What we like the most about Somerby Franklin is the friendly residents and maintenance staff. The meals services are improving and the billing is confusing, and transportation is not very useful.

Our experience has been very positive. But I would advise anyone looking for a senior living faculty to do a thorough inspection and interview current residents for an unbiased opinion. That is what we did and I believe that is why we are so satisfied. Plan ahead so sudden decisions don't have to be made.

I am grateful that they provide a safe place for my dad and they keep track of him and check on him every day, I appreciate that they provide meals and an opportunity for exercise and activities with other residents
