I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

My mother recently became a resident in the memory care unit after we received a referral from A Place for Mom. Her new home is like an apartment and the food in the restaurant is so good my father wants to come visit her 3 times a day so he can eat there! The staff members always greet you with a smile and offer many activities for her to participate in. We love that we are able to take her to her doctor appointments and out for little trips during the day and are thrilled that she has a safe place to live with the care that she needs!

My wife has been in the memory care facility at The Estate at Franklin for 6 weeks. It has been a good experience. The community is well runned. My first impression when walking in is the very happy atmosphere. Everyone is very, very friendly. The staff is very responsive to your requests.

Great caring staff

Really great people. My mom went into Woodbridge needing extra care. And left after 5 months helping others get to and from their seats in the dining room. Mom says if the apts were larger she would have loved to stay. Thank you for helping her get back on her feet and feel useful again.

My loved one seems very happy there, and he seems to well taken of. The only concern I had was that there was a fall, and I am not sure if maybe it could have been prevented, I don't know if maybe they let him out of the bus in a bad spot, or if maybe someone could have been there. I just don't know. The food portions were really small for him, but when I brought that up to them they were able to give him a bigger portion. They have been very nice, the people that helped after the fall did such a good job. They have been more than helpful with everything.

I had contacted "A Place for Mom" when I was trying to decide whether to leave my mother in Palm Bay, Florida or move her to Mt. Pleasant, SC (my home). "A Place for Mom" had 4 facilities from Mt. Pleasant and 4 from Palm Bay contact me. After researching each one, I decided to move her to Somerby. I wanted her close to me and Somerby is not only a beautiful, well-managed facility with everything to offer that my mother needs, it is 3/4 mile from my home! I could not be more pleased with the accommodations or the staff. I would definitely recommend this facility to anyone who wants the assurance that a loved one will be well cared for, and cared about.

It's tough for me to rate the activites because my parents don't really take advantage of them. But judging from the monthly calender that they put out they have a lot. They have art classes, exercise classes like yoga and tai chi, walking, movies and more. The only complaint is that the head person there, at Woodbridge Place, moved on to something else so there's an interim person in there right now. They're sitll working on getting reorganized and getting a replacement. We chose it because it's very clean, very friendly. We're extremely pleased!

I would recommend with any facility that loved ones make sure to take good notes on your expectations and confirm them with facility. We thought our dad was on a waiting list for memory care and a year later found out he wasn't.

The folks at the Grande were wonderful and the facility was great. Unfortunately my sister really missed her home and her friends. She did not stay for long but it was not the fault of the Grande or their staff. I would recommend it to anyone. It just wasn't the right place for her at that time in her life.

The nurse will call sometimes when [name removed] is having a bad day. She allows [name removed] a few minutes to speak with me. Also I will call the nurse to ask about [name removed]. She will give me updates on how things are going. We had to change power of attorney for [name removed] to [name removed] (sister-in-law). [name removed] has been ill and unable to help. [name removed] has been very helpful in making that change. [name removed] seems to be doing much better.

Staff are good and work very hard to accommodate each person's needs. I got the flu and had to stay in my room for 5 weeks. It was during the holidays so it was not a normal time. I had a couple of meals delivered but they were cold and not very appealing. I was surprised that no one came to check on me since I didn't leave my room except to go to the store. I know I was in independent living and pushed my button each morning so they knew I was alive. I guess there should be a way to let them know when a person is sick enough to have to stay in their room. Also a better way to get meals to the room. There was a very large stack of meals to be delivered and the food arrived cold! I do want to let you know that I had just lost my husband the end of [date removed] and moved in there in [date removed]. It was too soon to have made such a big change but I moved from Ga to Al to be close to my sisters. So I am not sure any place would have felt right at that time. I do think the facility is vey nice but there does need to be more follow up on new residents.

The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of activities. Nice to have onsite therapy. Shuttle service was very helpful along with the rotating doctor that visits the facility. The negative is their inability to help residents that need more assistance. They were quick to say they couldn't help my mom when she was recovering from a recent hospital stay.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because we had a couple hiccups with my mom's medicine initially but that could have just been because we are transitioning from my mom doing them to someone else doing them and me not being familiar with system requirements. s far as the staff, they have been amazing to work with! They have been very good at inviting my mom to activities and she has been getting involved a lot more. She is really enjoying it.

What we like the most about the community are the staff, they are caring and care for the whole family. It has a full schedule of activities as well as anytime dining. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.

They represented several things in the beginning negotiation that later turned out to not be correct. For instance, they said that the dog would be included, and that care would be provided by their staff. That turned out not to be the case and we later had to hire someone to help us. There was also $[removed] one time pet fee added. Also, their prescription system is very difficult. We found that there was many delays with getting prescriptions and had to intervene multiple times with the doctors and staff. However, the facility is beautiful and well-maintained.

Everyone is very nice and comforting . I'd give a 5 but had issues with the director of [name removed] . Food and portions were great! Apt size is perfect. Activities were good also.

All good. They are trying very hard.

Staff was wonderful. My only complaint was the smell. The carpet in the corridor was rank. I assume it was full of urine.

Dining great until recently. The gourmet experience seems to have disappeared. Decor was too corporate for my taste but my brother loved it. [name removed] is so happy he could keep his cat. Very responsive to phone calls from me about any concerns. They are working on the food issues.
