It's tough for me to rate the activites because my parents don't really take advantage of them. But judging from the monthly calender that they put out they have a lot. They have art classes, exercise classes like yoga and tai chi, walking, movies and more. The only complaint is that the head person there, at Woodbridge Place, moved on to something else so there's an interim person in there right now. They're sitll working on getting reorganized and getting a replacement. We chose it because it's very clean, very friendly. We're extremely pleased!

I thought it would be cheaper because it was south of Peachtree City the facility was very nice but I have heard about a large turnover in staffing.

Our experience has been great. The size and layout of my mom's apartment is perfect for her! She talks non stop about the food. Her biggest complaint is that the portions are too big. Her care has been fine. The employees seem to turn over frequently likely related to pay so it would be nice if they paid slightly higher than others so they could keep good people. They are working to renovate the hallways. Hoping that includes painting all the apartment doors but not sure. The staff that IS there are very friendly and quickly know all the resident's names and behaviors.

The food is good and offers a nice variety, and he eats well. The day shift staff provide outstanding care, taking the time to build a relationship through conversation and making him feel comfortable and respected. Everyone is friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with, both in person and by phone.

The Grande is all that it says it is, GRAND! Our tour was very thorough and upbeat. Everything is so clean, bright, and inviting. It was all a bit large for me and very elegant. It would take some getting used to getting around. [name removed] was very informative and helpful. Her enthusiasm was a joy to see. I will keep it under consideration but at this time I am looking for something that would most likely suit my friend more easily.

I think the staff could do a better job acclimating new residents. My parents were a bit confused about what to expect and what was available to them. They really didn't have an "orientation" at all, to my knowledge.

The housekeeping leaves a bit to be desired! The food is great. Everyone is kind and respectful.

It is always important to have an advocate for your family member. Stay in constant contact and pop in to visit as often as you can to make sure that they are being bathed appropriately when they're supposed to be etc.. Make sure you have an order for everything from your family members physician. Maintaining open communication with the administrative staff and the caregivers is a must!

I am impressed with the staff [name removed] the Director at the Magnolia Place location is a sweet and outgoing young lady that is very likeable. The ladies at the reception area are also, helping with the overall experience. I would never take the care and treatment of my mother lightly. Since being there the nursing staff have brought to light some health questions that have led to my mother having a pacemaker installed to help increase her quality of life for the same health factors that were overlooked by other centers.

[name removed] and other staff we met were very friendly. We also were able to speak with a resident about their living experience and that was very helpful. The empty units we saw were in transition and were not clean. The units could use some updating in bath and kitchenette area. The staged unit looked nice. Their level of nursing care seems to be very good.

There were some hiccups with move-in and a couple of times we stopped by and had to straighten/clean up. And we had to ask repeatedly for the podiatrist to see my mother-in-law. Very pleased with the staff in the memory care unit. They are all kind and caring.

The care was very good. The folks directly providing service to her were very kind, patient and caring. The only issue we had was after we coordinated her departure with sufficient notice we received a statement for $[removed]+ but we had no idea what it was for. My brother called to inquire but didn't get an answer. The person told him they were having some issues with their system. He followed up again but as of today has not received a response. As for the care itself, it was very good.

Place is clean and spacious. Staff seems to be professional and courteous. Understanding management is going through transition With new ownership, so we will continue to monitor the situation. But given the few months, my mom has been at this location, everything has met expectations.

I would recommend with any facility that loved ones make sure to take good notes on your expectations and confirm them with facility. We thought our dad was on a waiting list for memory care and a year later found out he wasn't.

The folks at the Grande were wonderful and the facility was great. Unfortunately my sister really missed her home and her friends. She did not stay for long but it was not the fault of the Grande or their staff. I would recommend it to anyone. It just wasn't the right place for her at that time in her life.

The nurse will call sometimes when [name removed] is having a bad day. She allows [name removed] a few minutes to speak with me. Also I will call the nurse to ask about [name removed]. She will give me updates on how things are going. We had to change power of attorney for [name removed] to [name removed] (sister-in-law). [name removed] has been ill and unable to help. [name removed] has been very helpful in making that change. [name removed] seems to be doing much better.

Staff are good and work very hard to accommodate each person's needs. I got the flu and had to stay in my room for 5 weeks. It was during the holidays so it was not a normal time. I had a couple of meals delivered but they were cold and not very appealing. I was surprised that no one came to check on me since I didn't leave my room except to go to the store. I know I was in independent living and pushed my button each morning so they knew I was alive. I guess there should be a way to let them know when a person is sick enough to have to stay in their room. Also a better way to get meals to the room. There was a very large stack of meals to be delivered and the food arrived cold! I do want to let you know that I had just lost my husband the end of [date removed] and moved in there in [date removed]. It was too soon to have made such a big change but I moved from Ga to Al to be close to my sisters. So I am not sure any place would have felt right at that time. I do think the facility is vey nice but there does need to be more follow up on new residents.

The staff is very friendly and there are plenty of activities. Nice to have onsite therapy. Shuttle service was very helpful along with the rotating doctor that visits the facility. The negative is their inability to help residents that need more assistance. They were quick to say they couldn't help my mom when she was recovering from a recent hospital stay.

The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because we had a couple hiccups with my mom's medicine initially but that could have just been because we are transitioning from my mom doing them to someone else doing them and me not being familiar with system requirements. s far as the staff, they have been amazing to work with! They have been very good at inviting my mom to activities and she has been getting involved a lot more. She is really enjoying it.

What we like the most about the community are the staff, they are caring and care for the whole family. It has a full schedule of activities as well as anytime dining. Yes, we would recommend this community to other families.
