Do your research! these places LOOK nice and are maybe fine for people who don't need much care. For those who do, they are grossly understaffed. Caregivers are good, but I don't expect them to be there much longer. The director is a [profanity removed] who's only interested in SELLING (which is probably the corporate directive). They need someone capable to run the place

The actual staff that works with residents is great. but as for sales and marketing very overpromised but very much undelivered once actually got into the Bonaventure at Keizer Station. The facility is very pretty on the outside but the inside is not near as great overall.

When I first moved to Oswego Place, I was very satisfied. The executive director was kind and caring. She could be tough at times, but I never thought she was unfair. Then when she left we got a executive director that is the housekeepers daughter. In my opinion she doesn't know how to be a leader. If she gets upset she attempts to lead by intimidation. She lied to me several times and when she got caught, she just got angry. She is also holding approximately [removed]. You can tell how well the place is doing by the number of empty apartments they have. When I left there was 16, that is quite a few for a building with 62 apartments. The place I am at now has "one." If you are considering moving into Oswego Place pay a unannounced visit and talk to the residents, they will tell you the truth. There is one housekeeper for all the apartments, my current place has three.

If you love your loved one, do not put them in this facility. It's a beautiful facility from the outside. However, once your loved one is at the facility, promises are not kept. They provide poor care. Bonaventure is geared towards making money, not caring for your loved one.

Don't let your loved one live here. They really don't care. And the real issue isn't with the caregivers. The real issue is the higher ups. People at the home office and the Executive Director. The caregivers care. But they are overworked and nobody wants to help. Patient had staples in his head for over 60 days. They are supposed to be for 10!! Same patient has sutures on for over 90 days. They keep an employee they know full well is drinking and sleeping on the job. Because she's tenured!! What??? Wrong is wrong. They let caregivers go not because they've done anything wrong but because they disagreed with management and called them on it. They really just want your money. They have absolutely no intention of keeping their word. But they will weave a great tale to get you in there. I've seen it first hand.

My loved one fractured her pelvis when she was here and they never told me that it happened and would not tell me any of the details. She had to go to the hospital and they would not take her back. She did not receive good care here and I would not recommend anyone put their family members in this facility.

My husband and I don’t take lightly writing this review but we want to help others be aware of what you might face when you move your loved one into a Bonaventure property or any other assisted living facility. We went through so much with this facility and it won't let us post our whole story. You better get everything in writing and be ready for a constant headache. They are not worth your time and energy.

It is a very sad state of affairs when Bonaventure of Gresham cares more about money than the residents. They are understaffed and the facility is dirty because of it. Residents are neglected. Complaints go unresolved. The staff is awesome and doing their best but "corporate" is only concerned with the almighty dollar and making a profit. It is unforgivable and down right disgusting.

We checked my Dad and Step Mother into Gibson Creek when the hospital discharge my Step Mother after her stroke. They were helpful and accommodating to get them in very quickly. However, almost immediately they started to fail on the assisted living part. My Step Mother didn't get her critical blood thinner medication for three days resulting in an emergency room visit. We lost all faith in the Gibson Creek facility and officially submitted our 30 day notice to move out. The family moved them out within a week. My step sister moved in during that week to make sure my Step Mother was provided with her critical medications. I would not use Gibson Creek Assisted living facility under any circumstance. Your loved one may not survive it.

Very disappointed in Woodland in Lacey, WA. My parent has only been there for less than 3 months. Still waiting on new carpet and linoleum in apt. Something floating in water carafes at dining tables. Concerns brought to management three times; no change. Three wounds on parent's back from putting patch at wrong place and tearing the skin, over and over again. Billing problems since day one. Never any answer from ANYONE regarding bills. Receiving statement on the second of every month, but due on the first, resulting in late charges. Waiting for pro-rated rent, since parent in facility for only 13 days first month there. Medications and showers not on consistent basis. Very upsetting and would NEVER recommend this facility to anyone!

If your elder needs hands on care, feeding, dressing, changing, moving, etc. this is not the place for you. Care staff very slow to respond to calls, and then they only marginally know what they are doing. Our elder had to be removed in less than three days. But it looks good on the outside.

We had an elderly couple in the Lacey center for about 6 months and their care was dismal. Frequently no one would come up to empty his catheter bag, he fell 6 times and was hospitalized each time with staples in his head. The management sells the place like crazy, but the care team is understaffed and under trained. HIPAA privacy violations every day, cross contamination with bloodborne pathogens, no gloves worn, etc... AVOID AT ALL COSTS, AND THE COSTS THERE ARE THROUGH THE ROOF. $13,000/MONTH WAS THE FEE THEY WERE CHARGED.

My parents never moved in. My dad was given keys and the apartment was never cleaned from the previous tenants. Many issues NOT resolved. Refund requested for first month rent has never been refunded. Plus they received deposit on top of that. Complaint filed.

i am leaving THIS PLACE. THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH FOOD. WAITSTAFF ROUTINELY SAY "WE'VE RUN OUT" OR THEY JUST EXCLUDE THE REQUESTED ITEM WHEN YOU ARE SERVED. EXECUTIVE BONUSES MUST BE TIED TO REDUCING FOOD BUDGET, EITHER WAY RESIDENTS ARE PAYING FOR FOOD THEY ARE NOT GETTING. TOILET HAS STOPPED UP 14 TIMES SINCE I'VE BEEN HERE A LITTLE OVER TWO MONTHS. BAD.

They increased monthly fees without proper notification since my wife was a wheelchair patient stating she .needing two to assist her in her daily care needs.YET...They dropped her twice requiring sutures on right leg...second fall fractured her hip resulting out of pocket medical charges of $1,400.00 plus ambulance charges, Later I found out that their nursing and therapy credentials where revoked...They lost many of her clothing... They lost her wedding band and a small finger ruby ring....Bathrooms were poorly cleaned....Structure, although plush, was like a penitentiary...Little therapy activity other than a large TV screen. Laundry was poorly structured...Clothes throwen in a heap in closet...Extremely disatisfied....

8 weeks later they are not refunding our deposit after we changed our minds about moving in as they promised to do. I would avoid dealing with this outfit.

This facility looks great on first observation, but don't be fooled. The staff has little or no experience caring for our beloved seniors, they are paid at minimum wage and are given little training. The nursing and medical aide assistance is lacking in training and experience as well. The family must be onsite, on a daily basis, to adequately monitor the quality of care that is being administered. Keep looking for a better equipped and more qualified assisted living center. Oswego Place would probably be fine for retirement level senior living.

If you want an unpleasant experience for your loved one, and complete frustration with their administration, then Maple Ridge is for you. My grandfather has been at Maple Ridge for over 4 years, and during that time we've had no less than 5 different administrators, and frustration with everything from medications being dispensed incorrectly, to poor food, to apathetic staff. It got so bad a couple years ago, that the residents took up a petition to deliver to the administrator demanding improvements in staffing and meals. It's too bad, as the location, building, and overall facility itself is great, but it's the overall management that just can't get their act together. If it were not for their location on Whidbey (my grandfather will not move off island) we'd have moved him several years ago.

My grandfather is a resident there in memory care and from the times I've been there, I'd say they need to have someone inspect how they do things! His meds found on the floor on multiple occasions, bathroom left soiled and disgusting, his clothes not changed/ bedding, and the horrid smell. I'm sure with the many residents they have, these are not the only problems going on there. This is the one on Boone Rd SE. It is not fair to the residents and their families to be treated this way and have nothing resolved after numoruous attempts to contact especially with how much they charge! HORRIBLE

I did not like this community at all. The place had a lot of smells. It was not clean. The caregivers that we saw did not even greet us or even speak to us. The food was not good either. This was just a bad tour all together.
