Things are going fine at Academy Point.

They have been good to us. We like it so far!

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, it was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, it was also very expensive. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

The people working there are always friendly and caring. The room always is clean, and laundry is done. Never had problem getting things tha break fixed. No complaints of care of my father, and there always is activities going on to participate in. The biggest hurdle is paying community fees and first months rent to move in, which amounted to [removed] and [removed] reactively. The monthly total rent which includes care can also be high.

So far I have been pleased with Crescent Point At Niantic. The staff works really well with all the residents that are there. She has only been there a couple months and I have no complaints at this point.

The staff is just wonderful, my loved one really loves it there at Bedford Falls. He talks about how everyone is nice and caring to him and the food they hav is wonderful. They take very good care of him there.

We toured here when we were looking. They were comparable to other places, though not as close as the one we settled on. We also didn't like that there was no place to park.

Gorgeous facility. The pool is definitely a draw. The staff was really friendly. My mom was tempted by those things...Unfortunately, we found the menu lacking and the food mediocre. Unlike other places, Mariners Point does not have a kitchen(ette). Despite the lovely setting, not all the rooms have private outside access. Those few things made us move on. If those things are not high on your list, Mariners point is beautiful and definitely worth checking out!

Month 2 in respite I wanted to transition my dad at Benchmark Senior Living at Leominster Crossings. He needed day care at the Alzheimer's unit at harbor side. My dad would be at harbor side all day. My mom not at harbor side but was really liking it. The staff at harbor side were always encouraging her to come over because she was so fun. Well, then they decided my parents were too much work and wanted to charge me for mom being at harbor side when I am already paying a ton. Seriously the administrative side is terrible at this facility. The care side on the non harbor side is good. My dad had gotten no shower in a long time and stayed in the same outfit every day for many days. They have a real administrative problem over there. They have me gun shy over the whole situation. I like the every day aid that is there. The food is good and the place is clean. You are taking a huge risk with the administrative side at this facility. Buyer be ware!

My experience with them was that they were helpful and professional and provided a lot of information to us. The reason we chose this one was because my father was familiar with the facility, having already visited a friend who was staying there.

Lovely place great location totally out of our price range.

Our experience with Sanctuary Care at Rye has only been a short one, but so far we are pleased! The facility has seemed clean and well kept every time I have visited, and all of the staff I have met have been friendly. It took a bit to get my loved one completely settled in (TV working, etc), but now that that is all worked out things are going well.

Benchmark at Ridgefield Crossings seemed like a nice enough place overall, the staff we met were friendly and the facility itself was well kept and clean. We saw options in the area we thought would be a better fit for Dad, but I would still recommend this place as being worth a look!

The staff I met were friendly, and the facility was clean and well kept. However, Dad is still very social and we wanted somewhere with a few more male residents. But overall this was one of the nicer options we saw, and definitely worth a look if you're searching in the area!

Our experience with MiddleBrook Farms has been a good one overall, it seems like a nice place. The staff here is friendly and professional, and they have a good amount of activities and services that they offer for the residents. The facility is well kept and clean, and it is nestled in a a nice looking neighborhood with plenty of trees and good places to walk, which was important to my loved one. I was hoping the community would be a bit more active, however. My loved one has a few memory issues and needed something a little more than independent living, but this place has a bit more of a nursing home feel than we were hoping for.

My experience with River Ridge at Avon has been a little rocky, but I believe that is mostly due to some unusual circumstances with our particular case. Overall I think they do a good job here. The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the staff are friendly and professional. They've been very accommodating in terms of any specific care requests we've had. I will say that as your loved ones care needs increase the price can go up very quickly, however.
