Ridgefield Crossing has been great. Having worked in health care and our local emergency services for the past 30 years, I have had the opportunity to interact and work with many of the assisted living facilities within Fairfield County. This experience made it easy to choose Ridgefield Crossing when we relocated Mom to our hometown of Ridgefield. The most important trait that we have enjoyed about Ridgefield Crossing is the staff. Their care and dedication is second to none. From nursing to the dedicated patient care aids, I feel that they are always going the extra mile to provide the best compassionate care. On top of the great patient care staff the support staff has also become part of our family. Thank you Ridgefield Crossing! Keep the family first as you always do!

Grey Stone has provided great care to my 89 year old mother in their Harbor Memory Care unit 24/7. My mother depends on 1:1 assistance to meet all her needs throughout the day, including the use of specialized adaptive equipment. You’ll find the staff is friendly and caring beginning right at the desk when you walk in through the front door. The sales, administrative, cafeteria, and staff in general are always available to make their residents and families feel comfortable in their living environment. The nursing staff is very caring and readily available to assist with any medical needs that arise as well. The aids who work directly with the residents and provide their day to day care are phenomenal. They work as a team and are the backbone that supports the needs of everyone who resides there. As Grey Stone does cost somewhat more than others facilities in the area, I do feel they should offer higher salaries to the aids who work within the Harbor unit, to enable them to remain and establish a long term career there. It is a very demanding job that is both compassionately and professionally met by everyone who works there, which makes me feel very comfortable when I leave after my visit with my mother. I would highly recommend sending my loved one to live at Grey Stone in Salem, NH

Benchmark Senior Living at Ridgefield Crossings was very nice and the people were super nice to everyone. When you walk in you can tell it is a clean place. The staff was very helpful and always ready to help. Ridgefield is one of the best towns in the Connecticut and this place has to be one of the best in order to service this great town.

I cannot say enough about Forge hill in Franklin and their staff,especially [name removed]. The entire staff has been fantastic! And we've had a few issues that needed doing on our end and forge hill stepped up to help us out on multiple occasions! Extremely helpful and we are so grateful! My mother loves it there! She says it's the best thing that happened to her and we are ridiculously happy for her! Everybody is great and friendly! If you are.not sure where your loved one should go...trust me! They will love it here!

A very nice location with lots of outdoor space for the residents and visitors. The staff was very knowledgable and engaged with the residents and visitors. The area for visitors to dine with the residents is very welcoming. The facility was well maintained. Parking during the daytime is limited.

It was a nice location and the staff was very friendly and provided lots of information. The facility was clean and the residents seemed engaged int he activities being offered. The rooms had big windows which allowed for lots of natural light. Wished there were more outdoor space for the residents.

We have been very impressed with the Arbors. My husband and I visit my mother-in-law almost every day at different times of the day and each time we are greeted with smiles. Everyone seemed to know my mother in law’s name within 24 hours of moving in and they go out of their way to let us know how she is doing and what activities she has participated in. They have been very responsive to our requests such as making sure she goes on the twice weekly outings, making sure she gets a shower every other day, and making sure she gets a haircut on a regular basis. We also asked them to make sure she is participating in as many activities as possible and they are making that happen for her. Every member of the Arbors team I have communicated with has gotten back to me within the same day (email or phone calls). I see at least one manager out and about interacting with the residents each time I visit. My husband and I are relieved his Mom is in such capable, professional and kind hands!

I can not say enough about Benchmark Haverhill Crossing. They excell in all areas. The compassion caring environment is so comforting. You always see the employees smiling. You know they love there jobs. Knowing that my family member is being. Cared for here is such a piece of mind. We love it here!!

My husband had difficulty getting comfortable with his new situation. He's been there for 4 months now and he is so very much better with the routine. All of the staff worked very hard to make it right for him. They spent hours brainstorming what would work for him and never gave up. Also, the food is awesome and he loves his food!

Liked it a lot. Good activities and food selection. Close to where my Mom currently lives so area is known.

My 97 year old mother lived here for 6 months before passing away peacefully in her own room surrounded by her children. The Village was the third assisted living facility my mother lived in. It by far surpassed the other facilities in every way. The loving, attentive, quality of care by the resident care associates was a true gift for my mother in her last days. Everyone at the Village was incredibly friendly and helpful. I am so grateful that I heard about this place from [name removed], her PCP, when I was being advised by others to send my mother to a nursing home to spend her last days alone and in misery. I cannot say enough good things about the Village -- it is truly a special place, and I am recommending it to anyone who has an elderly loved one in need of real TLC.

My mother went to BaySquare after a fall at home. It was an adjustment to transition from home to an assisted living, but she quickly became very happy there. She loved the social aspects...sitting by the fireplace talking with friends, sharing meals with others, exercise classes and Bingo. The care, meals and activities provided a balance for her happiness. Her care was exceptional. The staff were personal, caring and compassionate. They took the time and really got to know her and her likes and needs. Mom's last days of life were spent at BaySquare. It was so comforting for her to be there, at home, with people she knew and loved caring for her. BaySquare's nursing staff treated her with great dignity and supported our family in this time of need. As a family member, there is nothing I would change about my mother's experience with BaySquare.

As one of ten children, our Mother, [name removed], is one of the great treasures for our family. After an exhaustive search in the central Connecticut area for the safest and best living situation for a her as she was leaving her home of almost fifty years, we were fortunate to discover The Village at South Farms in Middletown, CT. Over the past two years, the entire team and staff at The Village has not only become a community for her but an extension of her prolific family. Their professionalism, compassion and attention to the quality of her wellbeing is clearly evident on a daily basis. From the outstanding administrative leadership of The Village to the skilled attentiveness of the nursing staff and outside occupational/physical therapists to the genuine concern of the personal care aids to the recreational staff, our Mother and my entire family are truly blessed in our choice of The Village of South Farms for [name removed].

My moth had a stroke and heart attack which keft her partially paralysis and she needed a lot of help Plymouth crossing took exceptionally good care of her since she was very demanding in health and mentally she was very happy at Plymouth crossing and I’m glad that when she passed away she was in a great place that she loved so well and it made her last days happy.The staff were tremendous and my mother considered some as her family

The staff is wonderful. The facility is well maintained. There are numerous activities on a daily basis. Overall we are very satisfied.

At 97 years old, our Mom was not happy about leaving her home of 71 years, so this was not an easy process. After a couple of falls and a brief hospitalization, it was necessary to move quickly. We did a tour with only a few minutes notice and were beyond happy with how sincere all staff were, and maybe even more telling, how happy the residents were. The facility and the grounds are spotless and the interior is beautiful and bright. It’s not easy to get Mom on the phone since she’s often at some program that’s offered - quality music, movies, and current events. The meals are wonderful and there are always options. The whole staff at Plymouth Crossings is incredible, knowledgeable, and attentive. Benchmark at Plymouth Crossings has made a very difficult process so much better for all of us.

Very impressive facility. Clean, spiffy, slick. Very impressed with the Executive Director, who is knowledgeable and hands-on. Financial package is reasonable.

Mom has dementia and this has been the perfect place for her. It is smaller than many similar facilities which is perfect for her. She is not overwhelmed by the size since she can’t remember where things are. The facility has a very homey feel and is bright and comfortable. The staff is great and other residents are friendly. They did a good job of getting her involved in activities. So far, so good!
