Belmont Village

From my parents: A facility like this does take a period of adjustment. Your experience here will be what you make it. The staff really cares about the residents and strives to be friendly and helpful and keep us healthy and active. The number of residents who are in their upper 80's and 90's is a testament to the rich lives we can lead here.

It was really quite an amazing place. Overall, initial staff contact was extremely timely and warm. Patient care assistants were patient and friendly. The building was spotless and meals represented a wide variety. Our family member did not engage in any activities but there were many things to do and the one bedroom apartment was lovely and bright. I found it to be quite the value considering American House had a menu format for cost, which would have been 30 percent higher. For the 30 day respite stay, Belmont Village was a flat fee; much more clear with expenses. Additionally, the on site speech, physical and occupational therapy was seamless to put in place. As I said, it was quite the amazing find thanks to A Place For Mom.

We like Belmont because it's small, and we've gotten to know many residents and workers. We get immediate responses to all questions and concerns. Staff who work directly with my mom have been pleasant and kind (for the most part). We would and do recommend Belmont.

It's a great place but pay close attention before signing any leases on the money side. Things get added on that unless you go over all the details you will not know what's being charged. The thing we like most is the friendly atmosphere and cleanliness of the place the food is fabulous and everybody knows who you are, even family. The least thing is them getting the lease correct! They had several things added on that were not asked for. Such as bathing assistance 3 times a week, more meds than he was taking which cost an additional [amount removed]. We went round and round with them. Finally I think it's straight. But over all we are very happy and my dad loves it.

Belmont was a Godsend. They were so caring and kind. All staff members would address my Mom by name, from day 1. Pretty amazing. It was a happy place.

I would highly recommend Belmont Village to anyone. The facility is clean and homey feeling. The food is awesome. Great variety and a resident can request anything from the menu. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They address the residents by their first name as well as us family members stopping in for visits. The Director, [name removed], is absolutely outstanding. She is such a caring person, she loves her job, her facility, but most importantly, all the residents and workers at Belmont. My Mom was treated with love, dignity, and exceptional care for the 4 months that she was there. We met with [name removed] who helped us set up hospice when that time came for my Mom. And when my Mom passed, the staff was so helpful and caring to us. Belmont Villages was not cheap, but we feel it was well worth the money spent knowing our Mom was so well cared for in such a lovely place.

I would highly recommend this facility. Food is excellent. Staff is kind and helpful. Move in was easy. A real plus to have 24/7 on site nurses for those with diabetes or orthorhombic medical issues. Also, you do not have to change rooms when it becomes time to go from Independent Living to Assisted Living, which is very nice.

I would recommend. Right size for my Dad and right level of services. Food was really good too.

Their staff is super caring and patient with their elderly care. Cannot say enough about their patience and compassion for everyone there. Biggest issue is cleaning. I have complained a few times about their cleaning regularly and well, there is room for improvement.

Belmont Village was fantastic for the care of my mom through the end of her life. She moved in after heart health complications and ambulatory needs and thoroughly enjoyed the assisted living. The caregivers were amazing in assisting her with her wheelchair and diapers, and she absolutely loved the food and the ability to choose from a menu. She loved her view, her room was kept super clean, and it was so quiet. Like a boutique hotel! When she suffered additional strokes and had to be on hospice, the caregivers and the entire wellness care staff upheld her wishes exactly as requested. My mom had been in several other care homes/situations, and I enjoyed coming to visit her at Belmont Village the most by far. The entire community from staff to other residents were super sweet and friendly, and the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming. If you have to experience transitioning a loved one to assisted living or even memory care, this is definitely the place to be!

We picked it based on the location, friendliness of the staff and residents; activities; and the cleanliness of the place. It has been very positive for my mother. They have been very helpful during the move process as well as the first month she has been there. Specifically helping her acclimate to a new environment

The PALS are terrific helpers. I would absolutely recommend Belmont Village Glenview to others.

I found soiled pull-up by [name removed] door- assume pal was going to take out and forgot- 2nd time soiled diapers were left in room. - found 2 live roaches- on 2 different times...shared with [name removed' and work order was placed. Have not seen any recently. - damp/wet clothes from laundry day were hung in her closet. There is a hanging rack on the closet door and the damp clothes could have been placed there- not sure why that was not done. I have not had a chance to talk with [name removed]about this incident. Other than these items, I am very pleased with the care provided by the staff. I would highly recommend Belmont Village - Buckhead. This is the 3rd memory care facility that I have used in 4.5 years and I am very pleased. The staff (management and caretakers) are wonderful. I wish I would have found Belmont earlier.

I've always had a great experience at the Belmont Senior Living. I have been there several times to visit residents, Holidays events and/or meetings. The staff is very welcoming, caring and friendly. [name removed] (Community Relations) is wonderful. They have a warm and beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend the Belmont Village Senior Living for your loved ones.

Overall it has been a solid choice for my mom. She moved in in September and we have happy with the experience here so far. The staff is friendly and shows care. When things aren’t quite right we don’t hear excuses but instead how they plan to make things better. I would recommend Belmont Village Albany to others looking.

The overall experience so far has been a 5. I have been very happy with the Belmont Village Hunters Creek community, and there has been no problems whatsoever. I would recommend this community to other families.

Beyond the issue with cleaning the room on a regular basis, this place is absolutely the best. My dad spent one year at The Moorings, I wish I would've known about Belmont villages first. The Care is fabulous. I highly recommend sending your loved one here.

I am currently a resident at Belmont Village San Jose and most everything has been great for me here at this facility so far. The cleanliness and friendliness are great. The meals are outstanding. The staff, care services and activities are also great. I would recommend Belmont Village San Jose to others looking for Assisted Living for themselves or their loved one.

This place is truly a first class, stationary cruise ship. We are living the life we dreamed of!
