Belmont Village

I have had a good experience with this community. So far the staff are very nice, attentive, and welcoming. The community is clean for my mom to enjoy. There are lots of things to do around here and my mom likes the food too. This community is a very good place.

My in laws have been at Belmont Village for about 6 weeks and they are still in a transition period. They moved from out of state. We have had some small bumps in the road but the staff are trying to correct these. The staff are very nice and responsive. The community is clean and I would recommend it. I would also recommend you spend as much time as you can with your loved ones during the transition to help make it easier for them.

I had the pleasure to look at other communities and found this place to be the one. My brother was going to live here but due to bad timing he did not move in. The experience was good and worked out fine. The staff are very nice and cooperative, the community is really nice and up kept, and overall I was very pleased. I would highly recommend this community to anyone.

The staff at Belmont Village is very professional and they try to get my mom to participate in some of the activities offered. I have not tried the food but it looks nutritious and mom seems to like it. The community is clean and well taken care of.

My tour went very well at this facility. The community looked great. The staff was nice and friendly. They were kind and answered all my questions. They showed me everything around the facility. They offer nice activities daily. I wasn't very impressed with the contract, I felt it had many hidden fees. It is a nice community, just not the one for my father.

My mom is still getting settled into Belmont Village Thousand Oaks. The staff are very professional and nice to the residents. I had a chance to try a meal there and the food was good they also have a variety of choices. There is a variety of activities for the residents to enjoy. The upkeep of the community is tremendous.

My mother has been there for two weeks. So far she seems to be adjusting. The staff seems to be very caring but it can vary from shift to shift. She has her favorite and less favorite care givers. They all seem to really care, to me. The nurses are very good and the facility, activities are very good. No one wants to be faced with this decision but I am doing what I feel is best for my mother. I would recommend visiting this facility if you find that your family has to make this decision. Do I wish the system was different? Of course I do. It is never an easy decision, for a loved one to have dementia and lose their independence. Check out this location. I compared it to two others and felt it was the best by far. My mom has long term care insurance, bless her soul, for that.

Staff seemed very nice however I didnt care for the groups of residents sitting around a table area in what seemed to be a hallway with a caregiver. It seemed to be not very interactive

So far things are going well for my father at Belmont Village he is starting to adjust well. I would have to say that the community looks nice and clean they do take good care of the community. The staff has been nice and kind and pretty helpful with everything. The food is pretty good and taste good. It been a fine experience for us so far I hope everything continues to go well for us here at Belmont.

My dad just moved in a few weeks ago. Being almost 90 with short term memory loss and legally deaf, it was a scary first week. He lost the last 40 + years of his memories, he didn't know why he was there, though he has lived and work in AZ for over 30 years and didn't remember a day of it. Everyday when I came to see him, he was packing to go home. (40 years ago house), Within the 1st week he went on a lunch outing and that seemed to help. I took to lunch at Olive Garden, which we ate there a lot. On the drive, he started talking about things that happened a couple months ago and then a couple years ago. It was great to see that the memories were coming back. I knew when you move it very stressful, in someone who has short term memory loss and the move, is even harder. I can say that the people at Belmont have been wonderful, since he is doing really well so far, but then I expected in a short amount of time.

Likes the food here . The food is outstanding restaurant quality food. The circle of friends program is amazing.

I think Belmont Village seems like a very nice place, overall! The facility itself is well kept and clean, and the common areas and dining room feel open and welcoming. I also think the individual rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff here is extremely friendly, and they do a great job looking out for the residents.

They were suppose to refund us money. My dad was there only 3 or 4 weeks before he passed, and that was two months ago. My mom and I have called them several times and they have yet to pay us our money.

He will be admitted on Tuesday. The staff is great and is being very helpful with the transition. I think he is going to be very happy there. This is his second admission and he seems happy to be going back.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one. This was a very nice looking place, it was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. However, it was also very expensive. We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.

I just know that a friend of mine was here at this facility for a couple of months. My friend likes it there and says that the staff is great, the other people who live there are friendly and the food is not too bad.

My husband and I were trying to find a new location for his aunt. We took her with us on our search, and as soon as we walked in to the Belmont, she said this is where I want to be. So far, she really likes living there. The people are friendly, and the food still tastes good to her. We think all of the locations are very expensive, so guess we are just tightwads! The aunt is living in independent living, but we are paying to have medicine administered. This seems to cost a great deal, but it is something we must do to make sure someone sees his aunt every day. Otherwise she tends to stay away from people as she is an extremely private person.

It is too pricey over at the Belmont Village Scottsdale. The price has gone up a few times from them and they need to not do that I think. I give them a four - star rating overall, but for the value category I give it a three.

Seems very nice. Liked the executive director. We are considering it. The rooms are smaller than many other places, but it seems like the common areas are better utilized by many people and they encourage people to spend time outside their rooms.

Belmont Village was a nice looking place, the tour gave us a great first impression! We ended up selecting another community, but this is somewhere I would have considered as an option for my loved one.
